The Beast God of the Barren Land’s Core Region, Mo Minkong Couldn’t believe what he had just heard. He was worrying how to explain to his mate, Hezi, that he couldn’t stay long with them at ho. How co a lot of things had changed as soon as he woke the next day. Not only had he been freed of his duties that lasted for , he is now allowed to stay with lover and family. The dream he had been desiring all those years.
With his wish suddenly granted, he didn’t know how to react at this mont. Hezi, the ninetailed beastman, narrowed his eyes in happiness and saw how silly his mate had beco when stunned. He thought of sothing fun and glanced at his cubs moving his eyebrows while looking at Mo Minkong’s cheeks. Hei Anjing, this smart and mischievous cub, understood what his dad was trying to do. Of course, Ye Xiajie can understand it as well. But instead of joining the fun, his face turns into a pout.

As Hezi and Hei Anjing kissed the cheeks of Mo Minkong who was dazed, the feeling of being kissed woke Mo Minkong from his stunned state.
"Haha~ what are you guys doing?" Mo Minkong asked with a grin on his face. Clearly, happy to receive a kiss from his loved ones.

However, before he beca happy for too long, it was followed by pain from his chin. It seems that his eldest cub did join the fun. Instead of a kiss it was a an bite. Thankfully, his teeth aren’t fully grown yet and it’s still a bit soft.
Everyone looked at the cub biting his father’s chin like a hungry fish. Especially now that he is in his full beast form that the scene looks like a bear cub biting a human’s chin. Well, the cuter version to imagine and not the bloody one.

Hezi and Hei Anjing were shocked by the scene and finally laughed as Mo Minkong finally pulled the angry cub off his chin. He saw the white bear cub glaring at him while swinging his chubby arms as if wanting to scratch him. Of course, it was a harmless attack as Ye Xiajie didn’t use his nails to scratch this father of his.
"What is wrong with this cub?" Mo Minkong asked in confusion.
His mate responded, "He is jealous. You got a kiss from his future mate~"
Hezi knew why it was and took his eldest cub and let their youngest hug him with a kiss. Only then did the angry cub take back his fierceness.
At this point even the beast god was surprised. How can such a small cub be so possessive and it’s even his brother. Thankfully, in this world, intermarriage is alright. Moreover, the souls in the bodies of these cubs weren’t biologically related.
Mo Minkong pinches the cheeks of his eldest cub and says, "Still so young and already so possessive."
"The news we heard just now is the best in my life. Let’s celebrate. Tomorrow, I will introduce you to everyone in the valley. Though most of them already knew about you, the young ones must be enlightened," said Hezi.
Mo Minkong no longer stops his mate in introducing him to his people. Before the only reason why his existence is only known to the upper echelons of the Beastn Race was because he can’t leave the barren lands easily. Even though he backs his wife with everything and prevents all beasts with intention to start war by entering the Ancient Forest, his security towards his own lover is not perfect.
He had lots of enemies. To call them enemies is not the right word, those beasts who co to the core of the barren land are all desperate for one thing and that is longevity and strength. It is unknown where the knowledge that the Chaos Flower in the core garden can grant strength and everything that is needed to dominate this world. So other thought of it as an elixir or so kind of miracle thing that can resurrect a dead person.
However, none of this is true. Chaos flower once eaten can indeed bring forth the greatest limit of one’s individuality. But in exchange of this, they would suffer greatly with their ntality and physical body. Sudden increase in strength wouldn’t also enhance once body. It would only push it to its limit until it’s broken. The sa with their ntal strength. Chaos Energy is a power purer than light and dark elents. It’s the source of all elents and living beings. It is the beginning and also the end. It can also exist in all tilines, past, present or future. It would exist as long as one’s balance is disrupted.

Mo Minkong had done well to prevent that from happening and he had protected this peace for hundreds of years more than a thousand years. After breakfast, Mo Minkong was tasked to look after the cubs while his mate called on for a eting with the elders of the race. When one of the elders saw Mo Minkong coming out of the cave in which their leader lives while carrying two cubs. They are shocked. This is the beast who can turn into human despite being soone of the beast race. The only reason he can turn human is because he has a god-like existence. This elder is also one of the people of the beastn race who knew about the identity of their leader’s mate.
The elder instantly kneels before the presence of the Beast God. Hezi was used to this already and just gave his mate and cubs a kiss before leaving with the elder.
"Darling, I’ll be back for dinner. Look after the cubs. They like to play in the forest. You can bring them there or just go anywhere you like. Just make sure to co back before dinner," Hezi said.
Mo Minkong said, "Okay. Don’t worry. With here, our cubs are safe."
"Hahaha~ I know that. I will be back soon," said Hezi.
It was only after Hezi and the elder who appeared to report in the morning left that the black fox in Mo Minkong’s arm turned into another toddler.
Hei Anjing looked up at his father and said, "Papa, I want to see the human city."
"...Your Dad will kill ..." Mo Minkong said to his cub.
Ye Xiajie also pushed through and said, "I want to go where Jing’er wishes to go. Old man."
"Brat, just because your future wife kisses his papa on the cheek you can’t be rude towards your own father," said Mo Minkong while teasing his possessive eldest son.
Ye Xiajie snorted and said, "Old man is enough for you."
"Alright. I will take you for a walk. However, you must restrain your ears and tail from coming out. Keep looking like humans. If you promise to do that Papa will bring you to a human city," said Mo Minkong.
"Okay, we promise!" The two cubs said.
After his two cubs promised, Mo Minkong had no other choice but to help his cubs change clothes. Wearing fluffy clothes made from animal fur is sothing only beastn wear. Humans wear clothes made from silk, cotton and other materials. After checking that the ears and tails of his cubs are well hidden and the clothes the three of them are wearing fits the human city well, he had sent a ssage to his mate to inform him of their plans to visit the human city.
The leader of the beastman race, Hezi, didn’t react much as he knew how powerful his mate is. Unless it’s a death seeking individual, Mo Minkong wouldn’t cause any problems in the human lands. After making final preparations, Mo Minkong carried his two cubs with him out of the house. A single jump from him was enough for them to travel from the center of the forest towards the wooden wall.
One big and two small looked at the towering wall of wood in front of their eyes. It was so high that it was hard for one to climb through it.The only way to pass this wall is to find a hole. The hole humans use to enter the ancient forest.
Mo Minkong said, "I rember your dad saying there is a hole sowhere." As he looks around trying to find the hole which they can use to co out of the ancient forest.
