Learning that the return to the Ancient forest will be handled by the two lords, Lord Vega felt relief. As this ant they didn’t have to worry about bumping with that new human marshal who was deed inhuman even by the two lords. The Dwarf King didn’t make the forr elf king wait too long and most of the children from the king’s factions had agreed to be sent to the Ancient Forest. This includes the children of the pri ministers and the officer who had handled the logistics as well as those who had worked with him for the short ti while the king is bedridden.
As for the children of the elder dwarfs who were opposed to trusting him, they didn’t even inform their family and children about it. Only when everything is too late that they would understand that the reason for their deaths is indirectly connected to their father’s egos. They were killed by the pride their father had at this mont.
"Please pardon . It took awhile for the children to get ready." Dwarf King Garan said. "Lord Vega, please take good care of our children."
The parents of the children who agreed to be sent away all lowered their heads at this mont. As for the elder dwarfs who don’t agree to these actions, they looked at them with eyes full of disdain. As if asking them with their eyes if they even have pride in themselves. But even if the Dwarf king and the other officers knew the other group’s thoughts they would just snort at them retorting, what’s the use of pride if we can save our children?
Seeing the limited number of children who had agreed to leave with them made Lord Vega frown. The eyes of Princess Shika and Prince Gallian were the most red from crying. They might not agree to leave, but told by their parents they had no other choice but to depart.
Lord Vega looked at the Dwarf King as if asking if these are the only children they wish to save. But a single nod was all given to him. Seeing how hopeless the dwarfs had beco the forr elf king can no longer hold back his words.
"The new human marshal is the main traitor of this chaos. Whether you believe you are king or not, whether you listen to or not, what happened after I left no one can change anything anymore. So I will ask you again? Are these few children the only ones who you wanted to be saved?" The forr elf king asked.
Everyone didn’t expect Lord Vega to be straight forward at this mont. But the elder dwarfs thought that he was being a bastard by looking down on them. Unfortunately no matter what these elder dwarfs say, Lord Vega is no longer interested, his eyes stay on the king of dwarfs.
Dwarf King Garan asked, "Is it alright to send the won and elder children to your side as well?"
{Accept them. Lord Hei said to place them at the borders of the forest.}
Lord Vega hesitated when suddenly he heard Warden Yun Ming’s voice in his mind saying to agree to it. He sigh in relief and said,
"Won and older children can co as well. But they can only live on the outskirts of the ancient forest," The forr elf king said.
Upon hearing this the faces of the n who were waiting for an answer all felt even more joyous as they hurried their won and other children to prepare to leave with their young children as well. A scene of a touching separation happened at this mont. Families hugging each other, lovers who cannot bear to get separated and a group of angry unreasonable old dwarfs glaring at the side.
After an hour, Lord Vega stepped in and said, "Please for those who are going to the Ancient Forest to gather in a group now. We are about to depart."
The Dwarf King and his family reluctantly separated as he gestured for his wife and children to go near the forr elf king.
"It’s alright. Once everything here has stabilized and we can live on the surface again, I will co and pick you up."
Most officers who had no choice but to stay had said the sa thing. The children didn’t think much but for the spouses and older children who already understood the current situation of their race, knew that the possibility of their father’s surviving is close to nothing. Without the support of the beastn, having both the human race and elven race will be hard. If only the elder dwarfs had agreed to leave as a race instead of this small group alone, they would have survived together.
As the group gathered Lord Vega suddenly saluted in thin air and said, "Seniors, everyone is ready to leave."
Everyone was confused as they saw the forr elf king talking to air. They don’t even know who they are talking with. That was until their shadows suddenly moved and ford a huge black door. This left everyone dumbfounded. When suddenly this door opened and two beastn ca out from it.
The presence of the chief warden was enough to overwhelm even the dwarf king, much less the other dwarf warriors. Before his presence they couldn’t help but tense their muscles as if on guard by instincts. The young man beside him was a head smaller with a gentle smile. However, they can also feel that this person had no wasteful movent. In short, if a fight happens he can mostly fight back and kill without rcy.
Dwarf King Garan’s thoughts upon eting the two wardens: ’Just as I thought the power behind the beastn race is simply imasurable. It’s the right choice to send them away.’
Warden Yun Ming looked at the people who had gathered in a group. With a wave of his hand a red string spread all around them and had their wrist tied up. However, it wasn’t a restraining one. Just a light tie that one can easily remove.
"This is my weapon artifact. As long as you are tied with it, I will be able to pinpoint your location. We will be entering the shadow realm so these are just safety asures. Don’t worry I will remove the string once we reach the ancient forest." Warden Yun Ming explained.
The Chief Warden added, "However, do not remove it unless we tell you so. Once you get lost in the shadow realm, it would be hard for us to find you. Just be warned."
Everyone stares at the red strings on their wrist as if looking at their lifelines.
"Get ready to leave. No more ti to waste," the Chief Warden Lou Wuye said as he pushed open the door.
The opposite of the door is a murky dark world which mirrors the dwarf kingdom they are in right now. Except for the buildings and land to be black and the sky is red. It was such a creepy scene.
Warden Yun Ming smiled and said, "Don’t be afraid. With us in lead, none of you would be hard." He gestured for Vega to enter with his elental first.
Only when people noticed him standing inside that world beyond the world unhard and even yawning, everyone looked at one another and finally gathered their courage to follow inside. They closed their eyes as they stepped past the door. When they opened their eyes, a new world welcod them and they were unhard. Only then did they sigh in relief. Seeing this scene, everyone else followed until among the gathered group none was left behind.
Warden Yun Ming said, "Xiao Vega, are they the only ones?"
"Yes, Lord Yun." The forr elf king responded.
Frowning. Warden Yun Ming said, "We were prepared to transfer the whole kingdom."
"They’ve declined. They didn’t want to get involved with us," Lord Vega said.
"Well, that is also fine. Since only this small group is going then there is no need for the terrain teleportation." Warden Yun Ming said.
"Ming’er, let’s go," The Chief Warden said.
The two were about to enter the door when suddenly, Yun Ming waved his hand and his red string flew towards the other half of the people connected to the group who was leaving with them. His voice lingers before the door closes and disappears.
He said, "Though I don’t know if it can save your lives, I left a bit of my power. It would prevent you to die as long you have a will to live~."

The huge black door disappeared after it closed. As if it never existed in the first place. Once the door disappeared, those who were left behind all looked at the n who received so kind of amulet from the powerful beastman from before. The elder dwarfs felt that they had wasted a huge opportunity to survive. But before the presence of that dangerous looking beastman, the Chief Warden, they couldn’t even utter another word. They can only watch them to leave.
Dwarf King Garan looked at the red string wrapped in his wrist and touched it. He mumbles, "As long as one has a will to live, ka?"
