With the flare that lingers in the dark sky before dawn ascends, people who had seen it had varying reactions. Those at the military headquarters, especially the new human marshal, Gu Ying, looked at the colors in the evening sky with calmness devoid of emotion. As if not caring that one of his slaves had made a mistake.
Marshal Gu Ying said, "Tell the general to co see when he has co."
Soone from the shadows had responded, "Yes, Lord Marshal."
Looking at the colored sky that didn’t last that long, Marshal Gu Ying languidly closed his eyes. It was unknown what he was thinking inside that head of his. The Ninetailed Fox Beastman, Huzi and Beast God Mo Minkong were looking at the night sky with gloomy expressions on their faces. They had seen the hidden ssage in that flare and truly didn’t expect that the situation in the city was much worse that they expected.
The Beast God, Lord Mo Minkong said, "The city had fallen. With the human race’s betrayal, that ans soone in a high position causes chaos. Is it Gu Ying?"
"Was that scene we saw that day, intentional!? He had the gall!" Lord Huzi shouted and clearly, anger was painted on his face. "He dares to make a fool of us! How about the soldiers who had died with him?! Is that simply a play in his eyes as well!?"
"What if the soul in that body was replaced and that he is no longer Gu Ying who we’ve t? If he is pretending right from the beginning then... that is indeed terrifying. As this ans he had chosen to play a role without a care for anyone’s life including his own family. Can that person still be considered a human being?" Mo Minkong, the beast god said.
Frowning. Lord Huzi said, "Husband doesn’t think he is human?"
"I’m a god myself. When we last saw him I perceived him as a human. If that is a facade then... He is most likely a divinity who is much stronger than I am or he was replaced when he returned to the city." Beast God Mo Minkong.
Lord Huzi worriedly looked at the direction of the ancient forest where they live.
He asked, "Will our tribe be alright? Maybe we should return ho."
"With the situation in the borders, the mont we made an attempt to return those beasts gathered from the distance would definitely take this an opportunity to attack us." Mo Minkong said. "We will return but not right now. We need to at least fool the beast race that we have no intention of leaving the borders unattended."
"Plus, the forest will be alright. There is no way our sons would suddenly disappear without making sure that our ho is well protected. It can be said that even we in this place had protection. Maybe with their help we will be able to return to the city even if it’s temporarily."
The beastn leader, Lord Huzi, was bewildered by his mate’s words.
The Ninetailed fox beastman asked, "What do you an? Who are you talking about?"
Out of nowhere, he watches as his husband talks to the air like a madman. But he looked so calm and composed that made him think otherwise.
"Please co out. I do not know if you are the two senior wardens or the two senior systems. You must be left to our side to protect us. Right now there is sothing we need your help with. Please lend us a hand." Beast God Mo Minkong said.
The surroundings answered with nothing but silence which made Lord Huzi look at his husband questioning with his look asking if he is truly alright. However, as if the Beast God was so sure about it that he kept talking to the air.
"I beg. We wanted to check if our ho is alright. Can you please hear us at least. If only one can return to the ancient forest then at least let my wife do so." Mo Minkong said.
Just as the Ninetailed Fox beastman was about to stop his mate from acting like a crazy man. He suddenly heard a childish voice ringing in the area. But what gave him a creepy feeling is that aside from him and his husband there is no one else around the wall. After all, they had sent most of the soldiers to rest tonight while they did the night guarding duties.
{Brother Yang, let’s help the old man. Lord Hei didn’t say not to show ourself. Anyway we can still protect them even if they are seeing us.} System Yue said.

System Yang responded, "Our task was only to protect them but you want to do more tasks that aren’t ant for us to do. Do you want to pretend to be them and let them return to the city? The City is more dangerous right now than here."
Out of nowhere, two young n appeared. One is like a young adult, that looks like a teenager with a baby face yet androgynous look. He might look a bit feminine but he is definitely a boy. This is Zhi Yue with long dark violet hair. He looks cold yet when he speaks he seems childish instead. The other one is a slightly older man with dark skin and red-orange hair. He held the head of Zhi Yue, looking like a mature elder brother with a silent personality.
The mont these two youngsters appeared, Ninetailed fox beastman Huzi recognized them. Aren’t these the brats that used to sneak into the forest to see their children when they were young. These two are also gods. Then the other two that are usually with them, are they also gods? These guys like to pretend like subordinates of their children. They thought they were just mixed beastn whom their children made friends with. But they are also gods and they serve their two sons?
Lord Huzi said, "You two... aren’t you guys those children who used to play with my sons? You two are also gods!?"
"Hello, Uncle Huzi. It’s been awhile." Zhi Yue said, greeting them casually.
On the other hand, Zhi Yang was polite enough to greet them with proper manners.
"Zhi Yang greets Uncle Huzi and Uncle Mo. Under the orders of Master and Lord Ye, Yue and I ca to protect you."
Beast God Mo Minkong didn’t seem surprised as he had long realized that his son’s identity might have been different from the beginning. He can still recall seeing these two in this form before he went to the city after leaving the Barren Lands for the first ti. These are the faces he had seen, they hadn’t aged at all. As for the young version before, they might have made themselves younger for his wife’s sake. His wife was a mortal after all.
"Zhi Yang, you said that the city is more dangerous than the borders. Why is that?" Beast God Mo Minkong asked.
Before Zhi Yang could open his mouth, Zhi Yue had already spoken. Between the two of them, it can be said that this Moon God is a lot more talkative than the always mature Sun God.
"The city is dangerous because of the new marshal. Lord Hei said that the soul in him was soone from beyond this realm. He is sothing that shouldn’t exist in this world. Only soone the lords can fight against." System Yue said.
System Yang added, "Yue is right. The city is now more dangerous for you two especially since you are connected to Master and Lord Hei, the possibility of that Marshal trying to catch you to force them to co out is highly possible."
"As for the Ancient Forest there is no need to worry for now. Not only two wardens from our side stay there. There are also the two summoned mythical beasts and the Elental God who is freeloading there right now." said Zhi Yue.
Stunned. Lord Huzi asked, "The Mythical beasts and the other two seniors I can understand but... Why is the Elental God in our place?"
"Has he been kicked out of the Spirit Realm again?" Beast God Mo Minkong said.
The Ninetailed Fox Beastman said, "He had been kicked out of his realm before?"
"Yes. He used to run to the barren land to waste ti until he was picked up by his subordinates." Beast God Mo Minkong said.
Zhi Yue said, "No wonder when Long Juedi made a call that the Elental God is said to be bullying Little Haerin he didn’t seem to be mad, just pissed."
"Pissed enough to beat him up after dragging him to the forest. After being beaten by the Master, he was once again beaten by his own daughter. It was quite a sight." Zhi Yang said.
This happened after the beastn warriors had escorted Long Juedi and his class to the Ancient forest during the last invasion of the beast race in the academy and this all happened before the two princes and the two seniors had disappeared together.
