Since the Hell of Moulting was rejected by Ye Xiajie learning it would make his wife remove his skin all over and regenerate it from the start, they've skipped the said layer. They could leave this first phase any ti they wanted and were only waiting for their teams and assembled together so they could enter the next phase.

Ye Xiajie just gave his wife a satisfied grin seeing the result of his hard work before him. He had left so many traces for the others to see. This would prevent those pests from suddenly approaching his wife. Though it looks like he overdid it, Hei Anjing looked like an uncontrolled person who couldn't hold back his desires. This layer is different from the other layers. There is only a slim tunnel in front of them with only one entrance and one exit. The walls of the entire tunnel were covered in tongues of different sizes. But Hei Anjing ignored everything as he walked through inside. His husband had to follow him right away intending to coax him.
Ye Xiajie tried to yell for his wife only to open and close his mouth but there was no sound coming from it. Hei Anjing thought his husband didn't go after all and was about to turn around and speak out only for air to co out instead of his voice.
Even Hei Anjing didn't expect this situation. It seems that inside the tunnel prevents anyone inside from speaking out. It feels like they've completely lost their voice in this tunnel.
Ye Xiajie saw his wife turning around to look at him and pointed at his mouth rather than at the tongues on the walls. It seems this is a temporary punishnt one must undergo while crossing the hell of ripping tongues.
They could only converse using their divine sense. They are gods not being able to talk doesn't an they wouldn't have any other ans of conversation.
Hei Anjing nodded his head and gestured 'go quickly' and reached out his hands toward his husband. His actions an 'carry , I don't want to walk'.
Seeing this Ye Xiajie helplessly smiles yet walks toward his pampered wife. He loves spoiling his Jing'er, even if the latter acts like a baby Ye Xiajie would love it no matter what.
But the next mont, Hei Aniing suddenly saw Ye Xiajie frown and increased his walking speed to run towards him instead. His waist was suddenly tightly pulled and Ye Xiajie jumped forwards as if avoiding sothing.
Hei Anjing who was carried in the arms of his husband saw that from his forr position were tongues that suddenly lengthen and beca sharp. The position he was standing first from before was attacked by the tongues inside the tunnel.
His deep blue eyes slightly widen in interest. A tongue was coming from behind attacking them. Hei Anjing caught it unhesitatingly only to feel disgusted when he touched sothing slimy and dirty.
Hei Anjing's thoughts, 'Yuck! That's disgusting!'
He suddenly activated his ice elf bloodline and froze a part of the tunnel they were in. Even the sticky saliva in his hand had turned to ice and broke into pieces. Even then Hei Anjing still felt dirtied that System Yang had to pour alcohol to disinfect his hands.
'Is this really hell? There are only disgusting things in this place!' complained Hei Anjing using his divine sense.
The ones who can hear his words were Ye Xiajie and the two systems, Yang and Yue. Lord Hei's clean freak nature had been getting worse and worse. Though his disposition would not affect his interaction with his family, friends, and loved ones, strangers got it worse. Just how many tis had he lost himself in anger due to this? 'It is indeed triggered by sounds. The tunnel is a bit crowded yet the echoes can be reflected in just a closed space amplifying increased the loudness. The location where the loudest sound is located would be attacked. Then... This layer is so easy to pass through.' said Hei Anjing through his divine sense.
They watch him bring out a few of his toys. But these toys of his were nothing of ordinary. The colored marble-like things in Hei Anjing's hands were mini bombs he had saved from the futuristic world they ca from. It was made by the little genius chanic from their team before.
Hei Anjing gave that little genius lots of resources and in exchange, the latter gave him high technology explosives, bombs, and mines of all sizes. It can be said that Hei Anjing had his own personal weapon arsenal in his possession. One that could cause a nuclear bomb reaction. If not used properly.
Looking with large and blinking eyes at his husband, with a mischievousness at the corner of his eyes, Hei Anjing looked at Ye Xiajie and asked, 'Darling~ you can fly in this world right?'
Ye Xiajie lightly bit his wife's nose and activated his bloodline. Few black dragon scales appeared on Ye Xiajie's neck and face. Huge dragon wings appeared behind his back and flew like a rocket towards the other end of the tunnel. On his hair, a small moon and a small sun were hanging while Hei Anjing was raising his hands waving in excitent.
Sounds of the explosion would make the tunnel quake for a mont as he threw a few colorful pebbles at those tongues that dared to attack them if not because of his voice muted inside the tunnel Hei Anjing would have loudly cheered for his husband in delight. They bumped into so human players on the road but the couple ignored them and flew past them. Those players were covered in cuts which is obviously done by the tongues in the tunnel. The sudden passing of the couple caused them to lose balance and accidentally touched the tongues which instantly took their lives.
AHHH! NO! Save us~~~
Those tongues on the wall were sensitive to touch and it loves the taste of human blood the most. The players this couple had ignored were pushed to death by them. Even if Ye Xiajie and Hei Anjing knew, they wouldn't pity them at all. This is the ga world of punishnt after only the strongest ones can return to Abyssal City. The weak will die here without a corpse.
The couple successfully passed through the tunnel and saw the other end where the elevator that goes up appears.
Hei Anjing once again opened his mouth and his voice finally returned.
"It was over so soon. It was fun flying while being carried instead of flying on my own."
There's a bit of satisfaction in his tone and the smile on his face is that of joy. Ye Xiajie rarely sees his wife having fun like a child. He would be playful yet not entirely happy. He would be like a battle maniac when he saw blood. But to see his wife happily acting like a child is rare. Their ages had long passed that of a young man plus he is a lot older than his Jing'er. Thankfully, God never cared about ages.
Ye Xiajie smiled at his little one and said, "I can carry and fly with you any ti you want. We have eternity before us after all."
Hei Anjing paused for a mont and averted his face and pretended to be embarrassed. He had gained a master's class in acting skills, he could use it to hide his real feelings.
He then whispered, "That is a future from an unknown ti."
"Jing'er?"
"Nothing."
Hei Anjing hugs his husband and lets out a sigh of satisfaction. The familiar scent of sandalwood and rust calm his raging emotions. Though it was hidden, Ye Xiajie noticed his wife's mood swings. He gently pats his back comforting him.
Ye Xiajie asked, "Are you okay? If you're tired I can carry you all the way."
"Um. Carry then... I love it when you carry in your arms like this, A'Xia. Your embrace was the most calming thing in the world for ." said Hei Anjing.
While his real thoughts are, 'Just a bit more... I wanted to be with you for just a little bit more. Am I selfish? But I truly wanted to stay with you until the end. Unfortunately, I couldn't. You'll forgive won't you, my love.'
Hei Anjing hides lots of things about the trial of revival. While the trial of marriage was added to it thanks to his Uncle Baojun asking the Origin, he had already known what would happen in the end. The Origin had told him the consequences of reviving his counterpart.
Their situation wasn't like his Uncle Baojun and Uncle Siwang. When Uncle Siwang revives his Uncle Baojun, the only problem they had gone through is that Uncle Baojun want to forgive his other half so easily and they spend world-hopping in more than a thousand words before Uncle Siwang had successfully revived his uncle.
