At the shrubs.
Two of the three police cars had stopped in front of an abandoned church. Jie Yun and Wei Lou were both wearing civilian clothes and their hands were cuffed. Officer Ying Wu was the one who appeared before them
Officer Ying Wu said, "Please follow to the church. The one who temporarily freed you is waiting for you."
The two of them followed after the young police officer. Inside the abandoned church, even though it was slightly dim and the wooden benches in rows look a bit old, most of them are still usable. The place was cleaned up before it was occupied. The outside was in ruins but the inside is livable.
Police Officer Ying Wu left for a mont when he didn't spot their superior in the church. He had no other choice but to temporarily leave the two criminals with their hands still cuffed.
Wei Lou started acting like the thug he is. He sling his arm over Jie Yun's shoulder and said,
"Little Bro, do you know what is happening here? You're from the prison as well right?"
"Unhand . Brute," said Jie Yun as he elbowed the man hanging on his shoulders.
Wei Lou reacted fast as he pushed away the man and dodged the fatal blow. If that elbow landed on his body his left rib cage would mostly be shattered by impact.
"Not bad~ little bro, are you a professional killer? Your move just now is too deadly~" said Wei Lou.
Jie Yun coldly narrowed his eyes on the forr mafia not far from him and said, "A remnant of a Fallen Family ha. No wonder you act so unfriendly."
Wei Lou lost his smile with this comnt. He hated it when others ntioned his broken clan. The two were about to break a brawl on the spot when they were stopped by the arrival of Ye Yuyan who washed his face to remove the scent of alcohol on him.
Ye Yuyan passed between the two and sat at the wooden bench looking at them.
"What's wrong? Continue fighting. It's just about to get interesting..." said Ye Yuyan.
Based on how he is acting he doesn't even care if the two of them beat up each other until they kill one another. They are criminals and Ye Yuyan's reputation in the criminal world is quite high.
Jie Yun said, "Aren't you are, Prosecutor Ye? So you are really alive?"
"That demon prosecutor? I heard he lost once to a young murderer and lost his oga and child. How sa..." Wei Lou suddenly shut up when he saw Ye Yuyan's sharp yet fierce gaze. He looks more like a killer with this look.
He knew that if he ntioned one more word about his deceased partner and child the gun he is holding in his left hand would definitely shoot him down. That's how dangerous the vibe he is getting towards this mad prosecutor.

Wei Lou could only click his tongue in anger and fear. He wasn't willing to put his life on the line just to test Ye Yuyan's mood.
Ye Yuyan glanced at Police Officer Ying who ca with him and said, "Uncuff then and start the explanation."
"Aren't we gonna wait for the last one to co, Sir?" asked Officer Ying Wu.
Ye Yuyan rolled his eyes and recalled Hua Heiyu which instantly put him in a sour mood.
"That bastard. You only need to give him a few words and he will understand the whole story. Just focus on explaining to these two who need that long explanation to understand the whole situation. Get started." said Ye Yuyan while closing his eyes as if taking a nap when in reality he is trying to contact his wife through telepathy.
Young Officer Ying Wu began his explanation while Wei Lou and Jie Yun temporarily cald down in the presence of mad police like Ye Yuyan. He knew this person wouldn't hesitate to shoot at them if he felt like it.
Officer Ying Wu said, "Please sit down. I will begin now. Listen carefully."
He pulled a wooden board filled with photos of people, houses, streets, and locations.
"What you see here is the information about the unsolved serial murder case in this city. So far there are 8 deaths."
Wei Lou interfered in the conversation, "Why are you telling us this?"
"Of course! You need to catch the culprit. You guys are not completely free okay. Wei Lou is sentenced to 30 years while Jie Yun to 25 years. The last one is sentenced to 50 years I think."
"Between the three of you, only the person who can catch the killer would get his sentence reduced by 5 years."

Wei Lou said, "If we catch that punk, our sentence would be cut. Is this only it or are there other conditions?"
"Of course. There are. Drinking is prohibited. Won are prohibited. Driving is prohibited. Well since everything is prohibited just do everything, I don't care. How can one live without drinking? How can you catch the culprit without violence? To as long as the culprit is caught I live I don't care if it is missing a few limbs~"
"But there is another catch since you aren't completely freen but yes... Let's consider you volunteers. You guys would need to wear a tracker plus locator for . Then go ahead and go wherever you want. My first rule, if you are summoned co on ti. If not you shall be punished."
"Ying Wu put the bracelet on them," said Ye Yuyan.
Wei Lou and Jie Yun didn't dare to resist as Ying Wu put the black bracelet which is almost a perfect fit on their wrist and seems to be unable to be removed by normal ans.
Ye Yuyan said, "Oh~ those bracelets are made from special materials unless you are willing to cut off your hand, that cannot be removed without my biotrics."
Officer Ying Wu was observing the scene from a distance when suddenly his phone rang. It was a call from their ministry of defense. A piece of shocking news was reported to him.
"Prosecutor Ye! Sothing happened to the last criminal. He escaped!" exclaid Ye Yuyan.
Ye Yuyan murmured with deep anger, "Just as I thought, that kid wouldn't make things easier for us. I will reduce your sentence for 3 years only to the first person to bring back Hua Heiyu."
"Hua Heiyu? You don't an the young man you police officers deed as the youngest serial killer. Heh~ he is the first minor to be put in jail. I heard it was our good Prosecutor Ye who overused his authority to it and even exchanged his position just to put him behind bars." said Jie Yun.
Wei Lou said, "I've seen that kid too. He looks so small and slender. Making you wonder if he could kill a person."
"What do you know!? When I got ho there were no other traces than him being there alone standing as he watched my house with the dead bodies of my oga and child burning into ashes!!! The security cara caught nothing but he alone was there standing watching my house burn without any expression on his face."
"If he was innocent why didn't he call for help?"
"If he wasn't the killer, why would he appear there at the exact ti an explosion happened in my house."
"It can only be done by him. Only he who was there knows what truly happened but when I interrogated him, he didn't speak a word. He just stared at silently as if he was a mute."
Ye Yuyan's sudden outburst rendered everyone speechless. Even Ying Wu didn't expect his superior to lose his cool all of the sudden. It seems he hates Hua Heiyu more than anything in the world yet at the sa ti he knew deep in his heart that the young man might not be the one who killed his family. If so... Why isn't he saying a single word to help solve that case? It was because of this that he hated Hua Heiyu with all his heart.
"Spread and try to find him. Capture him back!" said Ye Yuyan.

anwhile at the sa gas station where the last police car was stopped. Ye Yuyan and the other three had followed over to listen to the two police officers who were supposed to bring Hua Heiyu to the shrubs.
Their faces were all beaten up as if they were treated as sandbags by soone. As soon as Ye Yuyan saw their faces like this his eyes turned cold. The two police officers thought he was angry with them. Officer Ying Wu was the one who asked for their testimonies.
Officer Ying Wu reported to Prosecutor Ye, "Sir, they said Hua Heiyu pretended to go to the restroom to pee. In the public restroom, Hua Heiyu caught them off guard and beat them up one by one, and escaped after stealing the keys to the handcuffs."
Wei Lou sarcastically laughed at the two beaten blue uniform-wearing policen.
"Aigoo~ You guys really worked hard. Heh~"
Jie Yun is more practical and twisted their arms over their head and slid down the sleeves of their uniforms and forced them to show their fist to see. One fist from each police officer had traces of fighting and it was a bit swollen. The bruises on their faces were obviously manmade.

"First offense, lying to your superior. Second, giving false testimonies, and third, failing to fulfill tasks given. You guys already have three offenses. If you have enough brain left in you, you know what you should do next." said Ye Yuyan before walking out of the public restrooms.
The two police officers who were tasked to bring Hua Heiyu and lied were now helpless as they looked like they'd lost their souls. Wei Lou and Jie Yu. Followed without a second thought and went outside as well. Only Officer Ying Wu gave the two forr police comrades a bit of advice.
Officer Ying Wu said, "Resign voluntarily. At least you can still work as a police officer in so other city or province. If the Prosecutor reported this case, you would lose your credentials and would no longer be a policeman.
