Three n and a small floating moon gather in one room. There's an intense atmosphere between Prosecutor Ye Yuyan and Police Director Yu Xi. While the newly revived Ying Wu was standing in between the two separating them from the madness just now.
Prosecutor Ye Yuyan said, "Do not stop ! I want to kill him! It was because of him that Yu'er died multiple tis and... they've sched to shoot at my own fated mate which led him to die. I will never forgive them both!"
In front of him, Ying Wu was trying to block Ye Yuyan from approaching Yu Xi who was out of breath from almost dying. The hand that held his throat just now was no joke. The strength of a dominant alpha like Ye Yuyan was not a joke. He is the strongest alpha that had ever existed even for an A-grade physique of an alpha like Yu Xi, he is still no match.
Yu Xi was confused the whole ti because he didn't understand why Ye Yuyan would suddenly flip out like that and how Ying Wu would suddenly appear before him alive. He had seen the man's corpse and even attended his funeral but suddenly one day he would co back alive like now.
Yu Xi said, "I don't understand why you are acting like this, Yuyan. And, how did you co back to life A'Wu? I'm sure you were dead. Yuyan and I found your cold body that day. There is no way he made a mistake about it!"
But despite his shock, Yu Xi still noticed that weird little moon that was floating against gravity. He even pointed it out.
Police Director Yu Xi said, "Moreover, what the hell is that thing? How can it float? Is it a toy? A machine? Whatever it is it looks weird. It gave the sa vibe as that white snake toy of A'Su. Though lately, I can't see it anymore."
System Yue upon seeing the involvent of this man to the hidden villain especially when he ntioned that illegal System's avatar.
[That is not a toy nor I am a toy myself. I am an AI with a soul known as System. Prosecutor Ye Yuyan is my temporary host and it's my duty to help him complete his wishes. That white snake your fated oga possessed is sothing like thought that thing was now destroyed and would no longer exist anymore. Human, you should learn to accept facts.] said System Yue.
Prosecutor Ye Yuyan recalled a useful item from the System Mall. An item that could show past lives to the target. He exchanged for two and threw them at the police director Yu Xi and Ying Wu.
Before Yu Xi and Ying Wu could react, the item that Ye Yuyan had thrown at them had activated. They were suddenly in their soul form while they lost consciousness in reality. They opened their eyes to a hazy place that looked familiar but at the sa ti not. Their surroundings were strange as if it was the end of the world itself.
Yu Xi murmured, "What is this place?"
"I don't know. But Yuyan was saying about letting us see the past, don't tell this is the past?" said Ying Wu.
Yu Xi said, "This ruined world is his past life?"
They watch Ye Yuyan's figure run past them. He was holding Hei Yuhua's body within his arms as he ran away from sothing. Yun Jie and Lou Wei were protecting them from other n who looked like police holding a gun. The difference is that their eyes were lifeless as if they were puppets instead of living.
To let Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua escape Yun Jie and Lou Wei decided to bomb the whole place to kill as many people as they could. Ye Yuyan with tears covering his face had no other choice but to keep running and rember the sacrifice of two n in his heart for their safety.
Ye Yuyan continued to run away while the weak Hei Yuhua in his embrace finally woke up. Asking him to leave him there and escape on his own. Ye Yuyan didn't agree. He didn't want to leave his beloved alone. They keep running until they've entered a forest but those people chasing them still follow them intently and want to kill them. There's a cliff before them with unknown running water below. They could no longer run away and the people chasing them surrounded them and prevented their escape.
Suddenly the man who issued this endless chase finally showed himself. It was the familiar face of Ying Su with a white snake moving around his neck. Seeing this scene Yu Xi and Ying Wu were dumbfounded. Prosecutor Ye Yuyan is telling them the truth. Ying Su is indeed hunting the life of Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua.
Yu Xi calls in disbelief, "A'Su? Why... Why is he... doing this?!"
"Shush! Listen!" said Ying Wu.
The scene before their eyes continues and they hear the conversation between Ye Yuyan and Ying Su.
Angry to the point of death, Ye Yuyan said, "Why are you doing this to us, Ying Su!? A'Wu's death wasn't intentionally done by us. He died on the field mission to protect and Yu Xi. We didn't kill him!!!"
"You... are only targeting A'Yan but not Yu Xi? Aren't you biased? Yu Xi was also there when your brother died but you only keep hurting A'Yan. Why is that?" asked Hei Yuhua.
Ying Su said, "Xi-ge is my fated mate. I can't harm you but Yuyan is soone I hate. In the first place, Xi-ge would always choose you over . It was unfair! I am his fated mate but he chooses friendship over love. So as long as you don't exist he would be mine. Plus, you didn't protect my brother well, that is also your fault."
"You are unreasonable! Are you hearing what you are saying?" shouted Ye Yuyan while Hei Yuhua thought otherwise. He felt that the weird white snake around Ying Su's neck was doing sothing. He couldn't help but stare at it more.
Ying Su said, "Either way, as long as you die, it's okay." Then he gestured to the people with him to kill them.
Before a rain of bullets landed on Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua, the latter suddenly pushed Ye Yuyan off the cliff. The two of them fell towards the river under them. Ye Yuyan was still okay but Hei Yuhua who covered him had bullet wounds all over his body and legs. He wouldn't be surviving too long. Despite that, Hei Yuhua hugs Ye Yuyan and smiles at him. He keeps saying 'Live', 'Don't plan for revenge, 'That white snake is weird', and 'I love you.'
In the end, Ye Yuyan couldn't bear the death of his fated mate and killed himself to follow him. Once Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua died together, the world would undergo a reset, and the world plot would once again be restored. In this restoration, only the white snake and Ying Su's soul were protected by an unknown power. This is the doing of the white snake.
Yu Xi and Ying Wu heard the white snake speak.
[This soul is not bad. He can be easily controlled as his negative emotions are always at their peak. I can use him until he goes crazy and becos my food in the end. Negative Energy is the most delicious when the target is in despair.]
This is the first end of the world when the white snake was born and took over the world plot. He designed the tragic ends of all the characters of this world including the deaths of the Protagonist Gong and Protagonist Shou. Even if Ying Su beca the hidden Villain of the world, he was still under the control of that White Snake. Everything was under the control of that white snake.
Then Yu Xi and Ying Wu were forced to watch a few more tragic endings of Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua's deaths. The latest past was also seen by them. It was the past life that Ying Su had controlled the events forcing Ye Yuyan to kill Hei Yuhua with his own hand. Yun Jie tried to avenge his brother but was at the end killed by his own lover, Lou Wei.
In the end, Lou Wei died early because of guilt and grief while Ye Yuyan ended up living his life in a ntal hospital where he killed himself in the end. The two had seen the details of their own involvent which gradually pushed these endings. They finally understood the imnse anger in Ye Yuyan's heart.
It was after this scene that Ying Wu and Yu Xi were brought back. They woke up to the common interior design of Yu Xi's office. They felt heavy as if sothing hard had hit their heads. But they saw Ye Yuyan's grim expression as soon as they woke up.
Ye Yuyan spoke as his voice was cold and indifferent.
"You're both awake. Did you like what you've seen?" asked Ye Yuyan with sarcasm.
The two felt guilty even when they heard Ye Yuyan speak in such a way. They've seen themselves selfishly doing what they wanted without caring what would happen to others. Ying Wu would repeatedly die thinking he would be able to help his brother for the last ti but his recklessness in going on the field with his weak body held back Ye Yuyan and Yu Xi during the mission putting them in danger. anwhile, Yu Xi would indulge Ying Su and help him hide his identity which leads to countless deaths of a lot of people involved with the Red Poppy Syndicate. Not only did Ye Yuyan and his team die, but a lot of ordinary people also died as well.
Yu Xi spoke but his reluctance is obvious on his face and words.
"Yuyan, I... I'm sorry. I... didn't know that... A'Su did all those... things. I..."
"Don't apologize. What you have seen has longed before. You can no longer change what you do. Just focus on the present. At least in this tiline, we can correct everything that was wrong," said Prosecutor Ye Yuyan.
Ying Wu rembered that weird white snake in those scenes.
"That white snake... Isn't that a system? How could it act in such a way? Doesn't a system exist to restore the plot of the world?" asked Ying Wu.
He learned a few new things in the Netherworld branch of this world and heard about systems and the Upper Realms.
System Yue spoke, [Only a registered System does. Illegal ones are dangerous as they beco viruses that cause world errors. That White Snake was one. That's why this world had gone weird and entered an endless loop. The past lives you had a scene in that world were just a part of it. If I get it right this world has entered the 100th loop which is right now.]
Yu Xi stared at the little speaking moon. After seeing those scenes in the past he knew that this thing is what they call a system. A similar thing that is the sa as that White Snake but stands on their side.
Police Director Yu Xi said, "That little moon is a registered system right? Does that an you know the God that owns that system?"
"Know. That God is sleeping inside . He is also the one who brought A'Wu back to life and controlled ti to make and A'Yu co back to life. A'Yu also has a God inside of him and a little sun System helping him. There are also a few more people but you should et them yourself in the future." said Ye Yuyan.
Yu Xi said, "This is good. At least everything is better this ti. Does that White Snake still exist?"
"Not anymore. It was destroyed by the God inside ," said Ye Yuyan.
System Yue spoke, [The White Snake might be gone but his control over the hidden villain is still there. He had maximized Ying Su's hatred and jealousy over Yuyan. That's why he keeps targeting him and everyone connected to him except you. If this keeps up he would go completely insane in hatred.]
"How can we save him?" asked Ying Wu.
System Yue answered, [Clear up the source of his hatred and jealousy. It ans we need Ying Wu and Yu Xi to help us in this mission. Only you two would be able to move Ying Su to his current state and prevent him from going crazy.]
