Quincy Manor, the official guesthouse of the Quincy Clan, had hosted countless distinguished guests from abroad. It was a place so exclusive that many would do anything just to get inside.
Unfortunately, Claire Sinclair was feeling unwell and in no mood to tour this righteous place. She clenched her teeth, struggling with every step.
The guard led her to an office door and knocked. "Young Master Quincy, Miss Sinclair is here."
The guard then silently opened the door and gestured for Claire Sinclair to enter. "Miss Sinclair, please."
Claire Sinclair nodded and stepped inside.
The mont the door closed, her body finally gave out. She collapsed to the floor without even a glance at the distinguished man sitting behind the desk.
Adrian Quincy’s brow furrowed slightly. ’What is this woman playing at?’
He shot up from his chair and walked over to the figure curled on the floor. Kneeling on one knee beside her, he reached out to her shoulder and turned her over.
Uneven breaths escaped the girl’s lips as she lay curled up helplessly. A blurry face was suddenly reflected in her eyes, and she imdiately begged for help, "Hospital... take ..."
Adrian Quincy had no interest in wasting ti with a woman in his office, especially on matters unrelated to his work.
He recalled her claim of being drugged, but he had neither the ti nor the interest to verify it. He raised a hand, intending to knock her unconscious.
