If Hye was the type to pick his ladies based on a calculation of benefits, he would have initially picked his won from the Hescos, and long before them, the Toranks! He had the power to demand them, yet he chose the hard path.

He... he is way harder than what I initially imagined, Olana thought, an inward sigh escaping her. She had thought she could step in front of all the other girls on his side by using the imnse wealth of her family, but she had been mistaken. He didn’t want a rchant partner; he wanted a companion.

"Regardless," she thought, giving the matter another round of quiet contemplation. Even if he wasn’t the type to think purely in terms of material gain, she knew he would still appreciate the girls who stood by him and aided his cause regardless of the cost. If she couldn’t buy his heart with planets, she would earn it with blood and strategy.

She returned to her family chat window and told them the brief of what had happened. She ended the discussion by explaining her short-term plan to get closer to him on a personal level rather than a transactional one.

Her family, being seasoned opportunists, saw that this was indeed a better, more sustainable approach to securing a place in the inner circle of a legend.

"You know," she said, after staying silent for close to half a day—to the extent that Hye had actually started to feel a bit worried about her—she suddenly raised her head and added, "I secured the first batch of artificial planets for you."

"Oh? How much?" Hye paused, his interest piqued but his guard still up. He added cautiously, "And they aren’t a gift, right?"

"Well, if you want to have slightly more than four hundred thousand artificial planets as a gift, then I don’t know what to say back..."

She played the part of being shy and embarrassed, returning to her seductive side that Hye had started to see as a playful and naughty, real side of her personality, rather than just an act. It was a charm she wielded with precision.

"What?!!" Hearing the figure, he slowly stood up from his seat, glaring at her in a shocked way. "You aren’t joking, are you? Four hundred thousand?"

"Why would I?" she chuckled, realising her bet had just hit the bullseye. The shock on his face was the most satisfying reward she could have asked for. "The planets will be sent to in batches. Since we are speaking about such a huge number, it’ll take around a day or two to be fully transferred to . Logistically, it’s quite a feat."

"Send them instantly to Lily, Isac, and the others," he began, but then paused, realising she was only a friend with him and not yet integrated into the command structure of his other generals. "Never mind, I’ll handle that part myself once I have them."

"I figured so," she calmly smiled, knowing it was far too early to confront his other ladies, especially when she was still a greenhorn in his eyes. "I received the first fifty thousand batch just now. I will send them over to you at once."

"..."

Hye opened his inventory only to find the fifty thousand artificial planets lying there in neat, digitised icons. He sucked in a cold breath of air, feeling the imnse weight of the resource. He stole a glance at Olana. She had proved herself worthy—not only useful, but brutally decisive.

He knew that amassing all these planets required her family to use every ans at their disposal. He didn’t buy for a second that a single family would hold such a crazy amount of artificial planets in their own private treasuries; they must have been calling in every favour in the rchant galaxy.

"As for the paynt," Hye paused, his mind already shifting to the counter-play. He wasn’t the type to be bought. "I’ll transfer the first batch of the paynt to you now. Send these bones back to your family at once."

"These..." Olana took his words lightly at first, thinking he was perhaps sending so gold or common materials. Yet when she opened her interface and examined the bones she had received, her heart skipped a beat! "There are over ten million bones... and there are so many different types as well..."

She was lost for words for so ti before she regained control over herself. She stole a gaze at Hye, realising for the first ti how wealth could truly an power in many instances, including this one. He wasn’t just paying them; he was overwhelming them.

"This is just the first batch of paynt," Hye said. He closed the gap between the two of them, slowly moving his fingers through her long hair, a gesture that was both intimate and possessive.

"Even if you are my girl, it doesn’t an I shall owe you or your family anything. Just tell them this kind of treatnt is the bonus for being with , okay? I pay my debts, and I reward my allies even better."

Just when she thought she would leave a lasting impression on him using the help of her family’s wealth, Hye simply waved a hand and used a scary collection of bones to crush her and her family’s plans. He had shown them exactly who was the real tycoon in the house.

She knew exactly what he ant by his words and his choice of currency. He didn’t just send a mountain of dark gold-graded Dark Realm bones; he also included a few pieces of the black grade—the grade that no one else in the entire universe had managed to acquire so far!

His ssage was simple and devastatingly clear: as long as she stayed loyal and stood by his side, her family would reap privileges and benefits from trading and helping him that they couldn’t find anywhere else in the stars. He was the source of the rarest commodities in existence.
