Of course I’d follow them anywhere they’d go. In addition to that, they’d end up scattering their forces among a larger number of worlds, weakening their entire force this way.
As for , if I got to secure what I wanted, I’d get much stronger the more ti passed. Controlling one world? Dude, I already had two worlds under my control.
