His body, despite just breaking through this tier, absorbing a massive amount of energy previously, still feels like it is craving for so much more, as if it will never be able to get enough of that feeling of improvent every ti it is refined by Evolution Energy.
Closing his eyes as he directs his attention to what his senses is picking up inwards, he actively participates with the refinent of Evolution Energy, guiding his body to follow through its flow and facilitating smoother absorption of the circulating energy, making him smile as he felt like using this way of refining himself, he can absorb Evolution Energy into his body not only faster, but also more effectively.
He felt excited as the surge of Evolution Energy continued to forge inwards, his body like a land receiving water after a prolonged period of drought, completely receiving the refinent of this familiar energy.
This happens all while the young man was forced to focus a little bit more, guiding his body to adapt to the brand-new intensity and vigor of the energy’s refinent, the E Tier Evolution Crystal’s content being degrees better compared to its lower-tier counterpart, not only in terms of quantity, but in terms of quality as well.
The lower-tier crystal flows like a small stream that enforces the body, while the E-tier crystal goes on, filled with great power yet gentleness as well, as if a river that defines the lives of every single thing around it.
Other than the sensation absorbing E Tier Evolution Crystal gives, what he found just as interesting is the fact that, despite being faster, having improved his ditation thod, he still couldn’t help but feel surprised as his refinent of this single E Tier Evolution Crystal took him way longer than when he was still an F Tier and refining F Tier Evolution Crystal.
’About twice the ti it takes for to finish one F Tier crystal back then...’ he thought to himself, feeling a bit of pity that he couldn’t improve as fast as he did when he was still an F Tier, before shaking those thoughts off his head as he comforted himself that he is still making progress nonetheless.
This little self-pity only lasted for a short while as he opened his eyes as he finished the refinent of this singular E Tier Evolution Crystal, a smile ford on his face as he stared at the screen in front of him, indicating a way greater yield for him absorbing E Tier Evolution Crystal, a rate of improvent that pretty much nullifies the detrint of its refinent taking a longer ti.

’Five tis...’ staring at the degree of increase that E Tier crystals brought to the progression and improvent of his talent, Novus smiles, the thought of his progress slowing down no longer bothering his mind as the E Tier Crystal has proven itself to be far more effective than he expected, prompting him to take out multiple as he plans to enter a long state of ditation yet again.
And with that, notifications of his improvents start piling up like the excitent in his mind, the ecstatic feeling of getting stronger just by ditating, giving him the sa level, but completely different feel to improving his combat prowess in the battlefield, both being extrely addicting, but each in their entirely unique way.

The young man continues without stop, ditation, what other mages finds such an arduous chore to do, being sothing that feels all too entertaining for him to perform as he feels his strength growing by the minute.

’I didn’t notice it early in the morning, but sothing definitely changed...’ staring at the young man stretching his arms in front of her, dea thought to herself as she felt the subtle shift of the air around him, almost as if there was sothing in his mind that had changed from how he was the night before.
Had it been any other sharp person with the sa keen senses as her, they would’ve imdiately attributed that difference towards the young man’s confidence, as previously, outsiders will often, if not always, get the feeling of the confidence oozing out of him to be unfounded, but the controlled, sheathed form it takes right now will make anyone feel like there is definitely a good reason for him to act like that.
It should’ve been like this for her as well, especially when the two of them just t previously, however, despite eting each other for the first ti just the night before, the exchange between the two of them, as well as the subconscious comfort they have around each other made her well aware in the first place about the source of this ’unfounded’ confidence of his.
And this little knowledge of hers made it way harder for her to figure out this minuscule change in him.
’I’ll find it out sooner or later...’ she convinced herself as she unsheathed the blade still hidden in the scabbard under her robe, a smile on her face as she decided to tease him a little before they started their little fight of theirs.
"Strange, definitely strange." she spoke, making sure to exaggerate her tone for the dramatic effect she wanted to achieve.
"What is?’ not letting his guard down as he speculated that this upperclassman wants to take advantage of an opening to spring into action and take the first attack the mont he allows her to, Novus replies, his eyes still trained intently on his opponent’s posture.
"Soone definitely said that he won’t join on another spar tonight, isn’t that right? Junior Novus~~" she pointed out, bringing up their little conversation on their way back to the dormitory the night before.
"I said ’let rest for a while’, and luckily for the person who dragged back here, I had quite the good rest last night." he pointed out, now returning a smile on his face, faint, yet ever so slightly visible despite the couple of ters distance between the two of them.
"Awfully talkative for soone who won’t even speak more than three words for a sentence" she replied as she shrugged her shoulder as if to annoy him even more, a mischievous smile on her face as she does so, yet amidst that playful gaze, the sharpness of a huntress, of a predator hides deep underneath, waiting for the right opportunity to take her target down.
"Soone once said sothing to that talkativeness is a dangerous virus that easily spreads from person to person."
"Soone said that? Who?"
"I wonder."
"I thought soone said that to you??"
"I made it up for dramatic purposes."
Hearing those words from the young man in front of her, dea’s lips twitched, both from extre annoyance at that faint, yet painfully obvious smug smile on his face, as well as from the strongest of intent to prevent herself from laughing at that little joke of his.
Mana dances around her, being as in order to divert her attention away from that line he just said, she made the first move.
