He poured out an elixir completely ice blue and handed it to Burg: "This is called the Ice Heart Pill. After taking it, it can lead the mind into an absolutely calm state while suppressing the spread of berserk blood."

Burg took the elixir and put it in his mouth without a second thought.

The village chief was about to speak to stop him, but seeing he had already swallowed it, he forcibly held back his words and could only observe his reaction with a frown.

The elixir lted as soon as it entered the mouth, a refreshing stream instantly slid down the throat and into the body, like ice water extinguishing a blazing fire. The burning sensation within Burg’s body faded at a speed visible to the naked eye.

His eyes, which were sowhat crimson before, gradually regained clarity, his mind becoming unprecedentedly clear, and even the mories blurred by the influence of berserk blood vividly surfaced in his mind.

"It works! Village chief, this thing really works!" Burg clutched his fists in excitent, his tone full of ecstasy.

Finally, a hint of emotion flashed in the village chief’s eyes. After pondering for a mont, he said, "You two co with ."

He led the two around to the back of the treehouse cluster, through a dense bush, where a hidden cave appeared in front of them.

Before they got close, they heard suppressed roarings from inside the cave, like a trapped beast struggling.

Entering the cave, Carot saw the scene clearly: Two dragon blood warriors were firmly shackled with iron chains as thick as an arm, penetrating their shoulder blades, with the other end fixed into the stone wall. Their veins bulged throughout their bodies, dragon scales on their arms emitting an abnormal dark red, eyes bloodshot, and they kept making low growls, clearly in a deep berserk blood state.

Carot understood in his heart—this is the fate of dragon blood warriors.

Dragons are inherently violent and ferocious, and while dragon blood warriors gain power by absorbing dragon blood, they are also corroded by the violent factor in dragon blood. The stronger they are, the more severe the erosion, and once out of control, they end up as monsters knowing only slaughter.

So warriors with strong will choose to end themselves before losing control to avoid harming their people.

"The Spiritual Ability System is still more stable." He thought privately, as spiritual energy harnesses the spiritual qi of heaven and earth to enhance oneself, not only breaking physical limits but also nurturing the mind, extensive, with a higher ceiling, and without such hidden dangers of losing control.

"Carot, your dicine... can it restore their sanity?"

The village chief’s voice carried a trace of imperceptible hope; these two warriors were the backbone forces of the village, and saving them would considerably improve the village’s situation.

"Let try," Carot nodded.

Burg imdiately poured out two Ice Heart Pills from the jade bottle, stepped forward to hold down the struggling warriors, and forcibly fed them the elixir.

After about a few minutes, the warriors’ growling sounds gradually weakened, their bodily struggles slowed down, the crimson in their eyes receded like a tide, finally returning to normal pupils.

"Village chief... where am I?" One of the warriors shook his head, looked around at his surroundings with a confused gaze, clearly having no mory of what he did when he was out of control.

Looking at the two restored to sanity, the village chief finally showed a long-lost smile, his tensed shoulders relaxed: "It was Carot, he brought the dicine that saved you."

"Carot?"

The two warriors exchanged glances, both sowhat bewildered—the na was too unfamiliar, clearly having no recollection of this person who left the village years ago.

Carot wasn’t bothered by this.

Leaving then was his own choice, nobody forced him, and being forgotten after so many years was normal.

But he always rembered when he was a child and lost both parents, it was the village elders who took turns caring for him, the partners who always shared so of their hunted at with him.

Now that he is capable, repaying the village is naturally part of his duty.

"Village chief, Carot’s dicine really works!" Burg exclaid excitedly, "I’ll go right now and bring all the other out-of-control warriors!"

"And don’t forget the healing and detoxification pills," Carot added.

Having had firsthand verification earlier, the village chief no longer questioned Carot’s words.

The two imdiately turned and left the cave, gathering the villagers. But when they returned with the people to the cave, they found that Carot had disappeared, leaving only a dozen neatly arranged white jade porcelain bottles on the ground, with stones marking the usage of the elixir before each bottle—so labeled "Ice Heart Pill: Suppress berserk blood," others saying "Vitality Pill: Accelerate healing," and so "Detoxification Pill: Neutralize dragon poison."

No one knew that Carot had already left the village, heading toward the distant misty mountains.

That place, the gathering site of the dragon race, the Dragon Nest.

What he aid to do was not just temporarily alleviate the village’s crisis, but solve the problem thoroughly.
