As the information from the Ice Monunt was gradually digested, the history of the Ice God Treasure Vault quietly erged in Qin Tian’s mind.
Thousands of years ago, when the fortunes of their race were in decline, the Ice God Race sealed all the treasures that sustained their lineage into seven vaults, leaving behind the fire of resurgence for future generations.
The key to opening these vaults lay in the seven "keys" scattered across the ruins, and the Ice Monunt resting in his palm was one of them, nad the "Frost Glory Monunt."
Qin Tian’s fingertip gently touched the monunt, feeling its bone-chilling coldness. A layer of frost which had remained unchanged for a millennium covered the surface. His fingertips could clearly feel the ancient, indented patterns on the monunt’s surface, markings unique to the Ice God Race. Yet, after millennia of erosion, the patterns had long lost their forr luster, and even the edges of the monunt bore faint signs of wear.
"Even without anyone nurturing it, it can still seal Tier Seven demons for a thousand years. Such a treasure is truly formidable." Qin Tian mused silently, slowly injecting his spiritual energy into the monunt.
As spiritual energy was infused, the originally dim Frost Glory Monunt firt started to tremble slightly, and then ice-blue light seeped out from the seams of the patterns.
Those symbols that had been dormant for millennia seed awakened, swirling and flickering in the blue light. The monunt, initially the size of a palm, expanded visibly at an astonishing speed. Ice crystals rapidly grew from its edges, stretching the surface patterns, transforming in an instant into a massive monunt tens of ters wide. The airflow generated as its base floated blew away the surrounding snow, resembling a small ice-blue mountain suspended in mid-air.
Even more astonishing was that as the massive monunt ascended, the wind and snow within a radius of tens of kiloters suddenly stopped.
Snowflakes hovered in the air, no longer falling, and the whistling cold wind seed to be abruptly silenced by an invisible force. A pressure far surpassing that of Tier Seven demons descended like an ancient glacier, spreading cold along the ground, instantly solidifying the surface of the frozen earth with a thick layer of ice.
Qin Tian did not mobilize his spiritual energy to resist, but instead, willingly opened his senses to personally experience the power of the Frost Glory Monunt.
The next mont, he felt as if a heavy ice peak had been placed on his back. The coldness did not invade from outside, but erupted directly from deep within his bloodline. His limbs and bones instantly felt stiff, and even the spiritual energy circulating within beca sluggish. His soul seed to tremble slightly from the cold.
"Such strong suppression!"
Qin Tian’s eyes narrowed sharply, imdiately activating his qi and blood.
Boom!
A pillar of crimson-gold qi and blood surged skyward, intertwining with the ice-blue light of the monunt in mid-air, with the surrounding chill retreating like tides.
Yet even so, he could still clearly feel his blood flow slowing, his joints faintly stiffening, and even the self-healing speed of his Immortal Sacred Body was reduced a few notches.
With his Tier Six, Six Stars physique and the power of three holy bloods, he was still suppressed to this extent. It was unimaginable for other spiritualists.
Qin Tian speculated that Tier Six spiritualists entering the Ice Monunt Domain would find their spiritual energy operations severely sluggish, and even those with holy blood direct lineage would have their bloodline power suppressed, their strength diminished by at least thirty percent.
As for spiritualists with bloodlines below golden, they might be frozen and have their bloodlines stiffened upon entering the domain, directly losing half of their combat strength.
Based on the fragnted information remaining in the monunt, Qin Tian understood the original purpose of the Frost Glory Monunt.
The Ice God Race once stationed it at the head of the main city at the border, as a barrier of defense.
Within the Ice Monunt Domain, mbers of the Ice God Race would not suffer any suppression. Instead, they could amplify their ice-based spiritual energy with the cold air from the monunt to withstand snow beast tides and foreign invasions. The na "Frost Glory Monunt" stems from this mission of guarding the border.
"Although its power was diminished due to suppressing demons for thousands of years, it’s not impossible to restore it."
Qin Tian gazed up at the massive monunt in the sky. His talent, [Divine Weapon Emperor], could directly enhance the core of divine weapons. Not only could it rapidly restore the Frost Glory Monunt to its peak state, but it could also attach new powers to the monunt through bloodline force, surpassing its forr glory.
Raising his hand, Qin Tian summoned the massive monunt in the sky, which gradually shrank until it fell into his palm, the size of a hand.
The ice-blue light receded, leaving only a faint halo at the patterns on the monunt’s surface, likening it to a dormant glacier, quietly awaiting the mont of awakening again.
Qin Tian flapped the Demon King’s Wings and simultaneously entered a state of invisibility, concealing his breath. He beca like a shadow rging with the darkness, swiftly heading towards the direction indicated by the Frost Glory Monunt.
The scenes of ruins along the way were more tragic than he had imagined.
Piles upon piles of ice bones were scattered on the frozen ground, with even so bodies of Ice God Warriors not completely decayed still visible.
So maintained a stance of wielding a blade, the ice blade still embedded in the nearby black monster remains; others were in a protective posture, as if safeguarding sothing even until their last monts. The ice crystals on the surface of their bodies hadn’t lted for a millennium, reflecting a dim light.
Qin Tian’s gaze swept over, his fingertips subtly moving, and several ice elents hidden in the crevices of the ice bones floated towards him.
He casually stored them in his space ring, and within just half an hour, he had collected hundreds of them.
Along the way, he also encountered many awakened monsters, as well as other spiritualists who had entered the ruins with him.
However, even with a distance of only a few hundred ters, these people still could not sense his presence.
Approximately ten minutes later, Qin Tian arrived at the location of the Ice God Treasure Vault.
The sight before him caused his pupils to shrink slightly. The ground was heaped with layers of ice bones and monster remains, piled up a ter high. The air was filled with a faint black miasma, lingering like a thin veil above the remains. Even after a thousand years, this dark energy still had not dissipated, emitting a chilling aura that made one’s heart tremble.
"It seems that the price paid by the Ice God Race to protect the vault was far beyond imagination back then."
