In front of the Gate of Space, two figures stood side by side.
Like a black tide, the demonic creatures surged from the edge of the ice field. Their roars shook the ice layers on the ground, cracking them, and the demonic qi filled the cold wind, almost blocking out the daylight.
"With your abilities, can you completely seal this gate after entering?"
Before Ji Taiyan finished speaking, his right fist had already gathered dazzling dragon flas.
"Holy Dragon Fist!"
A golden dragon’s phantom roared as it shot out, and where the dragon claw swept, the front row of demonic creatures was instantly crushed into at paste, a rain of black and purple blood mixed with broken bones splattering on the ice.
Qin Tian traced the energy patterns on the Gate of Space with his fingertips, feeling the flowing space laws within, and nodded confidently: "I can."
"Great! I’ll leave this to you."
Ji Taiyan didn’t hesitate for a mont. He flipped his dragon spear and smashed it down, shattering the head of a Tier Seven demon that lunged at him. Then he leaped up, his bright yellow silhouette shooting into the Gate of Space like an arrow, leaving only a ssage echoing in the wind, "Finish it quickly."
In an instant, only Qin Tian remained on the vast ice field, facing a demonic army that flooded the sky like a plague of locusts.
Numbering nearly a million, they sward from all directions, turning the horizon into a gray-black mass.
"Finally, everyone’s gone."
Qin Tian’s lips curled slightly as he raised his hand. The crimson Heaven-Burning Purgatory Cannon appeared out of thin air, its barrel engraved with demon patterns that glowed with an eerie light under the infusion of Spiritual Energy. The scorching heat began lting the snowflakes around him.
"Buzz——"
The Spiritual Energy around him fluctuated violently, and a dozen Demon King Avatars identical to him appeared, all wielding long knives, forming a moving steel defense line that charged towards the tide of demonic creatures.
"Hold on, buy so charging ti!"
"Hey hey hey, are you crazy?"
A small demon’s head suddenly popped out of the cannon’s muzzle. Blaze clung to the barrel, swinging its tail, its ruby-like eyes wide and round. "You could just shut the gate and leave, why insist on fighting these pests to the bitter end? When did you develop a killing addiction?"
Qin Tian placed his palm on the barrel, Spiritual Energy pouring in like a tide, the crimson light at the muzzle growing ever brighter: "Lan’s race and ho were destroyed by these creatures. I’m his friend, so I have to help him get so interest back."
The crimson fire at the cannon’s muzzle blossod, its intense heat spreading along the barrel, causing the ice below to sizzle and lt, rising into a white mist.
The roars of the million demonic creatures were within reach. The Demon King Avatars were being torn apart by the mob, one by one exploding into points of Spiritual Energy light, but Qin Tian’s gaze remained calm.
"Avenge a friend..." Blaze scratched its chin with a paw, then excitent sparked in its eyes. "That’s a good enough reason! But with just the two of us, can we really kill this million-strong army?"
"We kill as many as we can." Qin Tian watched as the last avatar was ripped apart by the creatures, while the Heaven-Burning Purgatory Cannon’s muzzle had gathered a huge crimson light mass, the energy fluctuation causing the space to slightly distort.
A smile curved his lips, "Blaze, are you ready?"
"Of course!" Blaze plunged into the barrel, its voice full of excitent, "This ti, let’s have a blast!"
Qin Tian raised his hand, aiming the muzzle at the densest part of the demonic horde, the cold wind lifting his robe, his gaze sharp as a knife.
"Fire!"
As the calm command fell, the demon patterns on the barrel suddenly lit up, and the crimson light mass exploded—
Celestial Destiny Critical Strike—Fivefold Critical Strike triggered!
Boom!
A pillar of crimson fire as thick as a barrel surged forth like an unchained scarlet dragon, carrying a world-shattering might as it pierced through the sky and the ice field, directly striking the core of the demonic army’s densest area.
Upon impact, there was no expected earth-shaking boom, only a scorched impact point left on the ice.
But in the next second, the silence was utterly shattered—terrifying flas erupted like a volcanic eruption, waves of fire hundreds of ters high engulfing molten ice shards and gravel, dyeing half the ice field a brilliant crimson-gold.
The ice layer beneath his feet tore apart violently under the thousand-degree heat, with scalding steam pouring out from the fissures.
The savage impact rolled outwards like a circular tsunami, with the low-tier demons bearing the brunt of it as the most imdiate sacrifices: those below Tier Five couldn’t even raise their magical shields before their bodies carbonized and disintegrated in the fiery waves, turning to ash in the burning air, their screams swallowed by the flas.
Tier Six demons barely gathered energy to defend themselves, only to be easily torn apart like paper, the flas creeping into their bodies through the gaps in their scales, burning their innards, leaving only charred skeletons behind.
Only Tier Seven demons could rely on their strong bodies and deep magical energy to withstand it, but even they were engulfed in flas, their scales cracking, black-purple blood boiling in the fire, emitting shrill, twisted shrieks.
Qin Tian hung in mid-air, looking at the purgatory-like scene before him, a smile playing on his lips.
It was completely different from when he had killed the Ice Qilin not long ago.
Last ti, he compressed all his energy to strengthen a single impact point, aiming for a one-hit kill.
This ti, the demon patterns on the barrel guided the energy to spread out like a fan, resembling an unfurled carpet of flas, each lick of fla imbued with the burning effect of energy, maximizing the damage range.
Now that all the Empire’s geniuses had entered the treasure vault, he needn’t worry about collateral damage, finally allowing the Heaven-Burning Purgatory Cannon to unleash the full Power of Destruction.
The flas continued to spread outward like a boiling purgatory, consuming everything in their path. The corpses of demons and the black-purple demon blood beca fuel, causing the fire to burn ever fiercer.
