In the dead of night, the silent room was devoid of any light, with only the cold aura flowing through the air.

"I told you, you’re not allowed to contact privately again."

A hoarse voice echoed through the room.

"Why won’t you listen?"

Crack—

A cold, hard iron hand suddenly clamped around Stuart’s neck, lifting him violently off the ground.

A feeling of suffocation surged over him like a tide; Stuart’s complexion rapidly turned a purple-blue, his eyes bulging, and a hissing struggle emitted from his throat.

He struggled to lift his gaze, looking toward the figure shrouded in a black robe across from him.

The person wore a steel mask that glead coldly, revealing only a pair of eyes deep as the abyss, with an indifference and coldness in their gaze enough to make anyone’s heart tremble.

But at this mont, there was not a trace of panic or fear in Stuart’s eyes, only an extre madness bordering on distortion.

The veins on his neck bulged, and with all his strength he squeezed out fragnted syllables: "I want...you...to help kill...soone."

"What qualifies you to make demands from ?" The force in the black-robed figure’s hand suddenly intensified, with iron fingers nearly embedding into Stuart’s flesh, the coldness in their tone growing stronger.

"If I don’t kill him... I can’t carry out...the next part of the plan." Stuart stared hard at the abyss-like eyes behind the mask; even though the air in his lungs had been drained and his consciousness began to blur, his gaze remained terrifyingly obsessive, an insane obsession that would not rest until the target was dead.

The black-robed figure looked at his rabid-dog-like state, remaining silent for a long while, so long that Stuart thought he was going to suffocate to death, when the iron hand clamped around his neck finally began to loosen.

Bang!

Stuart fell heavily to the ground, clutching his neck, coughing violently, so much so that it seed he might vomit out his innards, but a strange curve slowly ford at the corner of his mouth, a gleam of decisive confidence flashing in his eyes—he knew the other would definitely relent.

"Are you pleased with yourself?" The black-robed figure looked down at him, coldly, "Do you think becoming a Sixth Grade Alchemist makes you irreplaceable? Don’t forget, I can elevate you from a lowly pill apprentice to beco a direct lineage mber of the Golden Clan, a Sixth Grade Alchemist genius admired by all; likewise, I can plunge you into Hell and let others take your place."

"I know, of course I know." Stuart slowly propped himself up on the ground, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, eting the black-robed figure’s gaze without fear, "But without , could you orchestrate the Gaia rebellion, could you create the Moren massacre? We complete each other. This ti, you must help ."

Gaia rebellion!

Moren massacre!

It’s really them!

Dozens of kiloters away, Qin Tian’s figure was concealed in the shadows, and upon hearing these two words, a cold gleam suddenly flashed in his eyes.

These two events were both sensational blood-soaked cases that shocked the entire Empire in recent years!

Gaia Star is located in the northwest region of the Blood Star Realm, a planet colonized by the Empire for nearly three hundred years.

For three centuries, Gaia natives and Empire citizens lived mixed together over generations, and sharp national conflicts had gradually dissolved over ti. Even the planet’s governor was a hybrid bearing Gaia’s blood.

Yet no one predicted that a sudden rebellion could completely drag this planet into Hell.

The stationed military abruptly defected, launching surprise attacks on the Empire’s fleet that was at rest; the rebel commander was none other than the popular hybrid governor!

Although the Empire quickly dispatched a fleet to suppress the rebellion, the damage caused was already irreparable—Gaia Star was reduced to a wasteland, the Royal Fleet caught off guard, with soldiers suffering heavy casualties.

The Moren massacre also occurred in the Blood Star Realm.

In the Era of Empire’s Great Expedition, Moren’s duchy on Moren Star surrendered without battle, allowing it to continue the royal lineage, with each duke receiving recognition from the Empire and enjoying its protection.

But just a few years ago, a horrifying blood-soaked tragedy swept across the duchy.

The sixth prince, stripped of inheritance rights, colluded with the Xieshen Association, massacring the entire royal family; furthermore, atop the royal city, he hosted a bloody ritual, sacrificing millions of defenseless civilians to the Evil God.

Although the Empire imdiately dispatched troops to suppress it, the disappearance of millions of lives had already stirred a massive panic across the Star Realm, the damages incalculable.

Behind these two tragedies lurked the shadow of a single force—the Xieshen Association!

The Xieshen Association worships the four great Evil Gods: Fear, Pestilence, Deception, Lust.

The four Evil God factions have different beliefs and vastly differing styles, making them easy to distinguish.

The incitent of Gaia Star’s internal chaos and the blood sacrifice of Moren Star were both aid at deceiving people’s hearts and creating Empire turmoil, typical of the Deception Evil God faction’s handiwork!

Qin Tian gazed from afar at the building that concealed these cris, his eyes cold as ice.

In fact, from the first encounter in Dan Tower, he had found Stuart suspicious.

An Alchemist is a profession that requires one to be calm and focused.

From fire control, refining dicinal properties, to rging essences and pill formation, every step requires utmost concentration and caution.

The higher the cultivation, the more demanding the state of mind, anyone who achieves success in the alchemy path is invariably composed, showing silence amidst joy and anger.

But Stuart was a complete exception.

In front of those at Dan Tower, he was petty and easily angered, his mind clouded by jealousy, nearly resorting to public violence—this kind of manic frenzy contrasted starkly with the composed image an Alchemist should have.
