The sudden and fleeting pressure startled the Wolf King and the surrounding white wolves, causing their bodies to jerk and their movements to stiffen for a moment.

In battle, victory or defeat often hinges on a single moment.

Despite their opponents being just a group of children, these children, who had been hardened by brutal training, seized the opportunity, wielding their weapons and fiercely hacking at the frozen wolf pack.

Slash! Slash! Slash!

The blades struck the vital or critical parts of the white wolves, with cries of agony echoing one after another, instantly reversing the previously one-sided predicament.

Especially when Xue Yong leaped into the air and struck down the head of the Wolf King with a fierce blow, the bloody wolf head rolled to the ground, and the previously spirited wolf pack was thrown into panic. With a frightened howl, they lost their former ferocity and scattered, fleeing in disarray into the depths of the mountains.

Not until the wolves pletely vanished from sight did the surviving children finally breathe a sigh of relief, their legs giving way as they slumped to the ground, gasping for breath.

But soon, their eyes collectively turned to their panions nearby, who were either wailing incessantly or already motionless, their small faces flashing with intense anger, sorrow, and helplessness, their eyes reddening in an instant.

And at the top of a nearby mountain, two men stood side by side, overlooking everything below with a condescending gaze.

"Dragon’s Might?"

A man in a black short-sleeved shirt with a buzz cut furrowed his brow, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.

"I didn’t expect this kid to show signs of bloodline awakening already. At this rate, within two years, Xue Yong might awaken the Cyan Dragon bloodline. This speed is truly remarkable."

"The Cyan Dragon bloodline is naturally different from those ordinary bloodlines."

The other man, thin and sinister-looking, stared intently at Xue Yong below, his eyes filled with greed, like a hyena eyeing its prey.

"It’s a top-tier bloodline. Once awakened, it holds infinite potential."

"Old Xie, don’t say I didn’t warn you." The buzz cut man slightly lowered his tone, turning to the lanky man to issue a warning, "With our level, we’re not qualified to touch the Cyan Dragon bloodline. You’d better curb your ambitions, or you won’t even know how you died."

"Don’t worry, I know my limits."

Old Xie waved his hand, his tone carried a trace of reluctance but also recognition, "If we were truly valued, would we be assigned to look after a bunch of failures?"

He glanced at the surviving children below and sneered, "They’re just bigger, gene-enhanced wolves, not even reaching the level of a Tier One Spiritualist. Yet, they can’t even win against such, which shows they’re utterly useless. I really can’t understand why Lord Ron values these failures. It would be more practical to capture a few ready-made bloodline Spiritualists."

"That’s not for us to worry about."

The buzz cut man looked at the children below, his tone indifferent, "We just need to obediently follow orders, plete the tasks Lord Ron gives us, and we can exchange them for higher-level bloodlines, and that’s enough."

"Hmm."

Old Xie nodded, saying nothing more. Suddenly, a pair of pitch-black wings unfurled behind him, and with a slight flap, his figure soared into the air, landing like a wraith in front of the children.

Meanwhile, the buzz cut man flashed down with the agility of a giant ape, skillfully leaping down the steep cliffs, landing beside Old Xie in a few steps.

For a moment, the scene fell into a dead silence.

The surviving children lowered their heads, their bodies trembling slightly, not daring to meet the gaze of the two men.

The courage and fearlessness they showed in the battle against the wolves had long vanished without a trace, leaving only deep-seated fear—they knew these two men’s cruelty all too well, their daily torments and punishments were etched into their very bones.

Old Xie savored the feeling of being feared. He slowly raised his head, his gaze like a venomous snake sweeping over each child present, his voice cold and heavily laced with ridicule, "Is this your strength? The Holy Church spent so many resources to cultivate you, and yet you can’t even defeat a bunch of gene-enhanced low-grade white wolves, truly a bunch of failures!"

Upon hearing this, the children lowered their heads even more, their shoulders quivering slightly, not daring to breathe loudly even once.

In the presence of these two men, they were like frightened birds, not daring to even entertain thoughts of resistance.

Old Xie’s lips curled into a sinister smile, his gaze slowly landing on Xue Yong at the front, his tongue lightly licking his lips, his greed almost overflowing—Cyan Dragon bloodline, truly desirable.

He knew in his heart that the reason Lord Ron was willing to invest effort into cultivating Xue Yong was precisely because of the Cyan Dragon bloodline.

Xue Yong was still young, his bloodline power yet immature. If his blood was extracted for transplantation now, he would only gain a bloodline slightly stronger than an ordinary person’s, incapable of unleashing the true power of the Cyan Dragon bloodline.

But if they waited for Xue Yong to fully awaken the bloodline, then what they would obtain is plete Cyan Dragon blood. After a blood transfusion operation, the talent would be parable to the Golden Bloodline.

However, the Cyan Dragon blood must ultimately be reserved for Lord Ron, he didn’t have the gall to covet it.

But for now, Xue Yong could still be "trained" well.

Pa!

Old Xie suddenly reached out, clasping Xue Yong’s throat and lifting him up harshly.
