The longer they were locked in combat, the more Wang ng could feel the Fla Encyclopedia’s contempt, which truly infuriated him. And then, Master Wang was defeated. He lay sprawled on his back in the Quiet Chamber, gasping for air.
The Fla Encyclopedia flipped its pages as if laughing at him, glowing with a fiery light.
Wang ng wanted to raise a hand to taunt it, but he had no strength left. "You just wait! This isn’t over!"
For the next few days, Wang ng focused on practicing his Five Elents Technique. Whenever he recovered his energy, he would challenge the Fla Encyclopedia to another battle of wills. As it stood, his Heart Spirit was only strong enough to be mocked, but it was far more pleasant than being tornted by Moo Shan.
This continued until Wang ng was awakened by an azure flash of light from his Star Ring... It was from the Dean.
It was clearly a reminder about sothing Wang ng had promised to do.
His opponent this ti was Zhen Wu. Zhen Wu didn’t have a good temper to begin with—Body Cultivators were generally a violent sort—and his mood was even fouler now because the Master was late!
Wang ng truly hadn’t ant to be late. He always took duels very seriously. The problem was, this duel had been arranged by the Dean, not initiated by his own will to fight. That, combined with his constant battles against the Fla Encyclopedia, had caused him to lose track of ti and forget.
At that mont, in the Dean’s office, Lv Yuantian didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. To think soone would actually pay so little mind to his words that he’d be forced to send a reminder.
In the Cultivation Academy plaza, a massive image of Zhen Wu had already been projected for so ti. Only then did the Master’s figure finally appear.
