I stayed quiet for a mont to try and hear what Im Haekyung was saying, then shifted into reverse and backed the car up a little.

At the renewed hit, the car body crumpled and the wheels spun uselessly. The mont I killed the engine, people sward over in an instant and started pounding on the window and the door.

I dealt with the exploded airbag, unfastened my seatbelt, then tapped on the window at the person standing outside, aning for them to move.
The way every last one of them had their eyes stretched wide and were making such a huge fuss looked a little funny. I got out of the car and checked on Do Yehyun, who was standing among the crowd. Maybe because he’d run over in a hurry, Do Yehyun was catching his breath with disheveled hair, and his eyes were wider than they’d been in a long ti.
“Hunter! Wh-what is this... was it a vehicle malfunction?”
Instead of answering the police officer who grabbed and asked in a panic, I lightly shook off the officer’s hand and picked up my phone, which was rolling around on the ground. It must have hit sothing wrong, because half the screen was cracked.
I tapped at the phone to check whether my call with Im Haekyung had gotten cut off on its own, but it stayed completely silent.
‘Damn.’
I gave up neatly and tossed the phone back into the wrecked car. Shoving aside the people who still looked too stunned to grasp the situation, I kindly walked over to Kwon Taehan’s car.
The impact had twisted and crushed the door inward. I shoved aside the person grunting and straining to force it open.
“Move.”
“Hhk....”
Looks doable.
I braced a leg against the car and yanked the door with all my strength. With the sound of shards flying, the mangled door burst open with a bang.
And inside, I saw Kwon Taehan with his head slamd against the steering wheel, blood pouring down.
“Ow, so even S-ranks bleed?”
I tossed out a joke to lighten the mood toward the bastard, who looked to be in pretty bad shape.

I’d slamd into him nice and hard twice, so I’d thought he might at least pass out, but apparently his body was tougher than I’d imagined. Or maybe the adrenaline was keeping him conscious?

I don’t know where the strength ca from, but Kwon Taehan suddenly lurched out of the car and grabbed by the collar.

He had twisted his fist into my shirt and seized it tight, but it was a completely different grip strength from last ti. Well, makes sense. After clearing a dungeon alone and then getting slamd by a car twice, even an S-rank would be struggling.
I imdiately sensed what was about to happen and quickly supported Kwon Taehan by the waist.
Sure enough, the mont he had to rely on his body to stay upright, the strength left him and Kwon Taehan’s consciousness faded fast.
“Hhk...!”
“Wh-what do we do?!”
“Call 119! N-no, f-first at least give him a potion...!”
Ignoring the noisy people, I lightly hoisted Kwon Taehan up, then laid him down properly on a flat stretch of ground.

Even in the middle of everyone yelling, Do Yehyun caught what I said and hurried over, sitting down in front of Kwon Taehan.

At those words, as if he’d been waiting for them, Do Yehyun’s Skill activated.
