Radiant Sun Mode is the embodint of the highest realm in Sun Breathing, demanding absurdly high physical strength, abundant Chakra, and high mastery in Sun Breathing.
Although Nagasawa was acceptable in terms of physical strength and Sun Breathing mastery, his Chakra fell short. That was why he had to enter Sage Mode and then used Sun Breathing as an interdiary for his Senjutsu Chakra to enter the Radiant Sun Mode.
Now, it's much simpler. He could imdiately enter Radiant Sun Mode by using Sun Breathing Sage Mode.

This planet is similar to his previous world's planet, with ocean occupying more area than land.

A loud explosion echoed as a lot of water was engulfed by the golden fla. For a mont, a huge arc-shaped hole appeared on the surface where Nagasawa struck, but it quickly disappeared.
"This much damage just from a casual strike can cause this. My strength has indeed increased compared to when I did the Challenge Mission." Nagasawa remarked as he looked at the destruction caused by a simple swing.
He certainly got a lot stronger, but at the sa ti, Nagasawa felt like Konoha was more in danger compared to before.
With his current strength, Konoha might get caught up even though he was fighting in other countries.
"I need the Barrier Division to co up with a better barrier."
Nagasawa felt that Konoha's barrier seed impressive on the surface but practically useless.
The barrier wouldn't be able to stop anyone strong enough to reach Konoha's gate in the first place.
Nagasawa's ideal barrier is sothing like the protective arrays in cultivation novels, which was actually capable of protecting everyone inside it when soone attacked.
A good example would be the Four Crimson Ray Formation, ensuring almost complete safety as long as it wasn't a Paths-level attack.
But Nagasawa knew he was daydreaming. Although there were powerful individuals in Konoha capable of setting up a Four Crimson Ray Formation, having them completely occupied in maintaining the barrier wasn't efficient. Besides, even if there was soone out there who wouldn't mind doing it, their body couldn't withstand it.
"Academy needs a revolution." Nagasawa traced the roots of the problem, and believed that it was Academy.
Academy was established by the Second Hokage, and except for the later addition of dical Students proposed by Nagasawa and Tsunade, it had mostly maintained its appearance from the Second Hokage's era.
The tis have changed, and with Nagasawa around, the fate of Konoha completely changed from the manga, embarking on a fast track of developnt, and the Academy founded by the Second Hokage seed sowhat outdated at this day and age.
