“Oh, there’s no bathroom in the dormitory. Just keep walking to the right after leaving the dorm, and you’ll find the public restroom. There’s also a shower inside, so you can bathe there.”

Hearing this, Zhao Yang quickly spoke up.

“All the bedding here has already been washed and disinfected. You can use it with peace of mind.”

“You guys start unpacking—I’ll take the female workers to the won’s dormitory.”

“Alright, Zhao-ge, go ahead. We can manage things here.”

Wu Yu got up to see Zhao Yang out of the dormitory.

Then he returned and started helping the garnt factory workers arrange their bedding.

After a while...

A few workers sat on their beds, looking at each other helplessly.

Yesterday, they’d already seen the employee dormitories President Chen had arranged for them. The rooms were much bigger than this one, and they even had private bathrooms, air conditioning, and TVs.

But this dorm only had two bunk beds and a wardrobe—nothing else.

As the saying goes, comparison only brings pain!

One of the garnt factory workers sighed.

“I really miss the garnt factory... Day one of missing the company cafeteria.”

Another chid in.

“Yeah, I miss the garnt factory too... Day one of missing the company’s air conditioning.”

“Missing the garnt factory... Day one of missing the employee dorm we haven’t even moved into yet.”

“......”

Listening to the workers sigh and complain, Wu Yu was a little speechless, but still kept up the act.

“Really missing the garnt factory... Day one of missing President Chen.”

Man, I really wanna get back to doing business!

Once the receptionist had finished arranging their dorms, they were given a tour of the workshop and the area where they’d be receiving training.

After a whole loop around, the strongest impression the garnt factory employees had was—this company is huge.

And that was about it.

In every other aspect, it didn’t hold a candle to President Chen’s company.

...

Half a month passed in the blink of an eye.

Cangxue Gas

Inside the conference room—

“Thank you all for your hard work during this ti!”

Fang Chang looked at everyone in the eting room and spoke seriously.

It was thanks to these people leading their teams to work overti—even back ho—that the reform of the Tianlong ga had progressed so quickly.

In the past half-month, the ga had already been updated three tis.

In the first update, the alternative gear and wild monster experience adjustnts were implented.

The next two updates introduced a new class—Swordsman. This class leaned toward the assassin role: high attack power, high mobility, but low HP and weak defense. Its skills allowed for various combinations and required decent gaplay chanics.

They also added a new boss monster, too strong to solo—it had to be taken down in teams.

Plenty of rewards were added to its loot table, with drop rates much higher than other monsters.

However, due to ti constraints, a specialized gear set for this boss would be developed later—only obtainable by defeating the boss.

“Manager Fang, the overti was voluntary. We didn’t do it just for the company—it was for President Chen too.”

“We did it for ourselves as well. Only if the company survives can we continue to work here and enjoy its benefits!”

One of the team leaders spoke up.

In all his years working, this was the first ti he’d encountered a company with such good treatnt. No way was he going to let it go under just as he got settled.

So when he heard that Tianlong urgently needed a revamp and that its survival depended on it, he chose to work overti without hesitation.

He knew full well why the previous owner sold the company—because the ga was losing money.

If a bit of overti could bring Tianlong back to profitability, of course they were willing to put in the effort.

Fang Chang smiled slightly at his words.

“Our user research results are out as well. Players are generally satisfied with the changes and willing to continue playing the ga.”

“Now that the foundation of Tianlong has been rebuilt, the next steps will be regular updates and gradual improvents.”

“So going forward, no more sneaky overti. Just work normal hours.”

Applause filled the office at Fang Chang’s words.

Everyone smiled from the heart—this feedback proved that all their hard work had not been in vain.

Once the applause died down—

Fang Chang continued:

“Anyway, I still want to thank everyone for working so hard this past half-month. So Director Wei and I have decided to treat everyone to dinner tonight.”

“Alright, head back and let your team mbers know. Anyone who’s free is welco to join. If not, no pressure.”

The team leaders filed out of the conference room.

Soon, only Fang Chang, Wei Yan, and Zhao Bowen remained.

Fang Chang was the first to speak:

“Now that the major foundational changes to Tianlong are complete, I’m going to pull back half the team to resu work on the new project.”

“Going forward, the continued developnt of Tianlong will be left in the hands of Director Wei and Zhao Bowen.”

“I’m still learning myself, so it’s best for Supervisor Zhao to take charge of Tianlong for now,” Wei Yan said, shaking his head.

Seeing this, Zhao Bowen quickly said:

“Director Wei, you’re being too modest. You might not be an expert in gas yet, but your earlier suggestions about drop rates were spot-on.”

“From our recent observations, players are very enthusiastic about grinding for gear.”

“So there are still many areas where your input will be valuable.”

“Alright, if there are issues, I’ll offer my opinions, and you can decide whether to adopt them.”

Seeing Wei Yan agree, Fang Chang then turned to him and asked:

“Director Wei, now that the first phase of Tianlong’s update is done, should we report to President Chen?”

Wei Yan thought for a mont.

“Let’s observe a few more days first. The third update just went live, and we don’t know how players will react. If there are no major issues, we can inform President Chen then.”

Fang Chang nodded in agreent.

“Tianlong hasn’t stabilized yet. Reporting now might be premature. If we wait until the ga has a solid user base and steady or rising profits, that’s when we bring the good news to President Chen.”

“And a few more days of observation won’t hurt. No need to rush.”

The three continued discussing a bit longer before wrapping up the eting.

Wei Yan left the conference room and headed straight for the staff workroom. He still had a lot of ga-related knowledge to study.

No ti to waste.

As soon as he entered, he saw an employee yawning—clearly not fully awake.
