Seeing the receptionist’s respectful deanor, Luo Xiao imdiately understood—Chen Mo must have given her a heads-up. Otherwise, her attitude wouldn’t have changed so drastically.

The two of them followed the receptionist into the elevator.

She swiped her card and pressed the button for the 26th floor.

“Mr. Luo, Mr. Wang, I can only take you this far. The CEO’s Office is just over there.”

She pointed ahead and spoke quickly.

“Thank you!”

Luo Xiao expressed his gratitude, then he and Wang Bin walked toward the CEO’s Office.

After knocking on the door, they stepped inside.

“You’re here! Co, have a seat.”

Chen Mo’s face lit up as he saw Luo Xiao and Wang Bin enter the office.

These two were going to be his money-burning machines—he had to make sure everything was set up properly.

Luo Xiao and Wang Bin were stunned the mont they saw the office. The design was ridiculously luxurious.

The massive floor-to-ceiling windows, the spacious layout, the enormous executive desk and chairs... The whole place looked like sothing straight out of a TV drama.

After a mont, they snapped out of it and followed Chen Mo to the sofa by the coffee table.

“Have so tea.”

Chen Mo poured each of them a cup from the pot he’d already brewed.

“Thank you, President Chen.”

Luo Xiao quickly took the cup and thanked him, feeling a bit nervous. It was hard now to see Chen Mo as just an old classmate.

“No need to be so formal—we’re old classmates, aren’t we?”

Chen Mo smiled and sat down beside them, looking at Luo Xiao and Wang Bin with a grin.

“You ca at the perfect ti. I’ve already taken care of all the paperwork for the Film and Television Company. We’re just waiting on you now.”

“So, President Chen, what kind of movie do you want to make? And what’s the budget?”

Hearing that they were getting down to business, Luo Xiao shifted into a more serious tone.

“I don’t know much about movies. The reason I brought you on board is so you two can handle all that.”

“If you have any ideas, just speak up.”

“The Film and Television Company doesn’t have any staff yet. Since you’re the director, you’ll know better than what kind of people and equipnt are needed to shoot a film.”

“All of that will be your responsibility. I’m just here to provide the funding.”

Chen Mo spoke casually. He truly had no clue about the film industry.

Watching movies was one thing—making them was a whole different story.

“President Chen, that’s a lot of power you’re handing over.”

Luo Xiao was taken aback. He’d thought Chen Mo just wanted him to direct a movie. He hadn’t expected to be put in charge of the entire Film and Television Company.

This wasn’t just directing anymore—this was full-on managent.

“It’s not that much. Besides, aren’t we old classmates? I trust you guys to handle it.”

“Whatever you need, just let know. I’ve only got one condition: every film produced by the company must be directed by you, Luo Xiao.”

Chen Mo looked at Luo Xiao seriously as he spoke.

What he valued most was Luo Xiao’s ability to make terrible films. As for managing the company, Chen Mo had no interest in that—he just wanted to be a hands-off boss.

Whether Luo Xiao was a good manager didn’t matter. What mattered was that he cranked out those awful movies.

“Don’t worry, President Chen. I ca here to make movies, and I’ll give it my all.”

“But if the Film and Television Company doesn’t have anything yet, then we’re going to need a lot of money. So of the filming equipnt is really expensive.”

“Though nowadays, most of the gear is rented rather than bought.”

“And then there’s the post-production equipnt—that’s going to be another big chunk of money.”

Luo Xiao paused to think, then gave a brief rundown of the equipnt situation.

Chen Mo listened with growing excitent. The more they spent, the better—it ant he could burn through more System Funds.

“Here’s what we’ll do—go back and put together a price list for renting versus buying the equipnt.”

“Also, make a list of the kinds of talent the company needs to hire. I’ll have HR handle recruitnt. If you already have people in mind, you can recomnd them too.”

“Got it, President Chen.”

Luo Xiao nodded.

“Alright, then that’s settled for now. Let give you a quick tour of the company so you can get a feel for the place. Once you’ve had a look around, we’ll sign the contracts. Then you’ll officially be part of Mingri Group.”

With everything roughly decided, Chen Mo stood up and led the two of them out of the office. As they passed by Shen Rou’s office, he called her over.

“This is Shen Rou, my assistant. If you ever need anything and can’t find , she can help.”

“These two are Luo Xiao and Wang Bin.”

Chen Mo gave a brief introduction, then continued.

“You’ve prepared the contracts, elevator access cards, and employee badges, right?”

“Yes, President Chen. Everything’s ready.”

Shen Rou replied quickly.

“Good. Have them on hand—we’ll need them soon.”

Chen Mo nodded. Before Luo Xiao and Wang Bin arrived, he’d already instructed Shen Rou to prepare all the necessary onboarding materials.

With everything in place, he turned back to Luo Xiao and Wang Bin.

“Let give you a quick overview of the company layout.”

“This floor is the 26th, the top floor, along with the 25th. These two floors are the main offices of Mingri Group—our headquarters. They house departnts like Finance, Legal, and so on.”

As he spoke, he led them to the elevator. The three of them stepped in and went down to the 24th floor.

When the doors opened, Chen Mo stepped out and began to explain:

“This entire 24th floor is the Entertainnt Zone. It includes a gym area, gaming area, relaxation area... Employees can co here during breaks to work out, play gas, watch movies, and so on.”

Luo Xiao and Wang Bin were completely stunned by the layout of the 24th floor. The entire 1,000-square-ter floor was dedicated to entertainnt.

As they walked around the Entertainnt Zone, the look of shock never left their faces.

The entertainnt area was fully decked out—fitness equipnt, spinning bikes, ping pong tables, pool tables, a screening room, and even so arcade machines. On top of that, there were plenty of snacks and drinks, plus a self-service coffee machine.

This...

After taking it all in, the two of them were at a loss for words.

With anities like these, you could spend an entire day here and never feel bored.

Still wearing stunned expressions, they left the 24th floor.

Next, they headed down to the 23rd and 22nd floors, ho to Boring Short Video, and then to the 21st and 20th floors where Cangxue Gas was located.

They also took the opportunity to et the heads of both companies.

Throughout the entire tour, their expressions of shock never once faded.

Wang Bin was mainly blown away by the sheer size of the office spaces. But Luo Xiao was different—he’d worked as a director before and ca from a well-off family.

So he saw even more than what t the eye.
