“Director Wei, you’re here too.”

Seeing Wei Yan also in the office, Zhao Bowen greeted him politely.

Wei Yan nodded, looking curiously at Zhao Bowen, who had just rushed in.

“I rember that Tianlong has always been running at a loss, right?”

Although he hadn’t been at Cangxue Gas for long, he had spent the past few days learning and familiarizing himself with the company. He had so understanding of the situation with Tianlong.

“The main reason for Tianlong’s losses is the severe decline in player numbers—fewer and fewer people are spending money in the ga.”

“But this ti, soone just spent a huge sum in the ga.”

Zhao Bowen explained. This morning, he had been casually checking the back-end data of several gas when he suddenly noticed that Tianlong’s account had received a sudden influx of 300,000 yuan.

Curious, he investigated further and discovered that two days ago, a wealthy player had directly recharged 300,000 into the ga.

“How much exactly?”

Fang Chang, noticing Zhao Bowen’s excited expression, asked curiously.

After all, it wasn’t unheard of for Tianlong to get occasional big spenders.

The ga had been extrely popular in the past, and so wealthy veteran players would occasionally drop a few thousand or tens of thousands out of nostalgia.

But he had never seen Zhao Bowen this thrilled before.

“Three hundred thousand—exactly three hundred thousand!”

Zhao Bowen held up three fingers, his face full of admiration.

“Now I finally understand why Boss Chen priced that set of equipnt so high. It was never ant for regular players—it was designed specifically for the big spenders.”

“After all, in the eyes of the wealthy, there’s little difference between a few thousand and tens of thousands.”

“Tianlong’s player base has been shrinking. If we kept pricing items at the usual rates, hardly anyone would buy them anymore.”

“But Boss Chen had the foresight to set the price at an extrely high level. This way, even if the equipnt doesn’t sell often, it doesn’t really matter since the ga is already running at a loss.”

“But if just one or two wealthy players decide to buy, the revenue spikes dramatically!”

“Boss Chen’s move is truly brilliant!”

Fang Chang and Wei Yan exchanged glances, both agreeing with Zhao Bowen’s analysis.

They had never expected that Boss Chen, when setting the high price, had actually thought this far ahead.

Fang Chang sighed. At the ti, he had doubted whether anyone would ever buy such expensive equipnt.

But Boss Chen was Boss Chen.

“Still, this isn’t a long-term solution, is it? If we keep introducing high-priced equipnt, will those rich players really keep buying?”

Wei Yan frowned, his tone uncertain. After all, he wasn’t a big spender himself, so he had no way of knowing their mindset.

Hearing this, Fang Chang and Zhao Bowen also fell into deep thought.

Boss Chen’s approach had indeed generated inco for Tianlong, but would this strategy work indefinitely?

After a while, Fang Chang rubbed his still-full stomach and stood up.

“Let’s not overthink it. Boss Chen must have his own plans—we just need to follow through.”

“Zhao, go ahead and transfer that 300,000 to Boss Chen’s company account.”

“That’ll put him in an even better mood.”

Changfeng Garnt Factory

“Boss Chen, Wang Maonian just called. He said the cafeteria renovation is complete and wants you to co light the first fire in the kitchen for good luck.”

Shen Rou relayed the news she had just received.

“Oh? The cafeteria is finished?”

“Alright, let’s go check it out.”

Chen Mo’s eyes lit up. Since there were still a couple of hours left before the system settlent, he might as well take a look at the new cafeteria.

“Boss Chen, you’re in a great mood today!”

Shen Rou smiled as she walked beside him.

“Am I?”

Chen Mo turned to look at her. Had he really been that obvious?

“You’ve been smiling all day!”

When they arrived at the cafeteria, Chen Mo noticed that a red carpet had been laid at the entrance, along with a large inflatable archway and several flower stands on either side.

It looked just like a grand opening ceremony.

“Who set this up?”

Chen Mo asked curiously. He hadn’t requested anything like this.

“I heard from Uncle Wang that the renovation company did it—to congratulate us on completing the cafeteria.”

Shen Rou replied.

Chen Mo nodded. The renovation company sure knew how to do business—not a bad way to make up for all the money he had spent.

“Boss Chen, you’re here!”

“The kitchen is just waiting for you to light the first fire.”

As soon as Chen Mo entered, Wang Maonian, his stocky fra still carrying so extra weight, jogged over excitedly.

However, after weeks of morning runs, he had slimd down a little.

“Let’s do it.”

Chen Mo nodded and followed Wang Maonian toward the kitchen.

Lighting the first fire—could this be a sign of his upcoming system settlent success?

Hmm, sounds like a good on!

Under the watchful eyes of the staff, Chen Mo lit the first fla in the kitchen.

“Boss Chen, the second-floor lounge is also fully set up. You should take a look.”

“I’ll start cooking. You must be the first to taste our cafeteria’s inaugural dishes!”

Wang Maonian suggested enthusiastically.

“Alright, you go ahead and cook.”

Upstairs in the lounge, Chen Mo glanced around. He saw that billiard tables, ping-pong tables, treadmills, gym equipnt, and massage chairs had all been arranged properly.

“Which one do you want to play?”

“Ping-pong.”

Shen Rou scanned the recreational facilities. The only one she had played before was ping-pong, back in school.

“Let’s have a quick match and try it out.”

Chen Mo grabbed a couple of paddles from the cabinet and handed one to her.

After playing for a while, they headed downstairs when the food was ready.

“Boss Chen, please have a taste!”

Chen Mo was surprised to see six different dishes already set on the table in such a short ti.

He picked up his chopsticks and sampled a bit—tasting surprisingly good, no worse than a star-rated restaurant.

Looks like Wang Maonian actually had so real skills.

“Not bad. I can’t finish all this myself, so you all should eat too.”

Chen Mo waved to the surrounding staff.

“I... I’ll pass.”

Upon hearing Boss Chen inviting him to eat, Wang Maonian instinctively shuddered.

Yesterday at the restaurant, Boss Chen had forced him to eat an entire roasted suckling pig, insisting that it should be finished in just three bites. He still hadn’t fully digested it.

Now, just hearing the words “co eat” made him vividly recall the sight of that roast pig. He swore he never wanted to eat another suckling pig in his life.

After settling everything at the cafeteria, Chen Mo returned to his office.

Checking the ti, he saw there were only a few minutes left until noon.

That ant just a few minutes before settlent!

He had nearly missed such a crucial mont.

Grinning, he turned his attention to the system panel in his mind.
