The employee handed the sample garnts to Wei Yan.

Wei Yan carefully inspected them and, seeing no quality issues, nodded in satisfaction.

“Not bad. This will do. I need to step out for a bit. A new batch of fabric, of the sa quality as the sample garnts, will be delivered soon. Find soone to check it, and notify once you’ve confird there are no issues.”

With that, he turned and left. Now that he had the sample garnts, he naturally had to take them to potential clients and try to secure so orders.

Signboard Processing Factory

“Boss, are you sure the signboard can’t be made within two days?”

“Impossible. You’re ordering a large illuminated signboard. There’s no way to complete it in just two days.”

The factory owner looked at the young man before him and spoke helplessly.

This was the first ti he had encountered soone requesting such a massive custom signboard with only a two-day deadline.

“Hold on a mont.”

Li Shen hesitated for a mont before deciding to call and confirm with the boss. Since the boss had demanded the job be done in two days, he couldn’t take any chances.

He quickly found the number and dialed.

The call connected after a short while.

“Hello, who is this?”

Hearing the voice on the other end, Li Shen quickly responded.

“Mr. Chen, it’s , Li Shen.”

“Oh, it’s you. What’s the matter?”

“It’s about the signboard...”

Li Shen explained the situation in detail.

“No problem, if it takes longer, it takes longer. But make sure to pay in full upfront.”

Chen Mo responded imdiately after hearing the explanation. He didn’t care about the production tiline; he just wanted to make sure the money was spent.

“Mr. Chen, we could just pay a deposit first. There’s no need to pay the full amount right away.”

“No, pay the full amount.”

“Alright, Mr. Chen.”

Li Shen hung up the phone and returned to the factory owner.

“Well, what did your boss say?”

The signboard factory owner approached eagerly. This was a big order, and he didn’t want to lose it.

“It’s settled. We’ll place the order with you.”

“Shall we sign the contract then?”

“Sure.”

After a bit of paperwork, they finished signing the contract.

“Brother Li, now that the contract is signed, what about the deposit?”

The factory owner put away the contract and looked at Li Shen. There was no way he could start such a large project without an initial paynt.

“I’ll transfer the money right now.”

Without hesitation, Li Shen pulled out his phone and made the paynt—not just a deposit, but the full amount.

The funds had already been transferred to his account earlier that morning by Wei Yan, which was why he was so dedicated to getting the job done.

The company had trusted him with over 200,000 yuan without hesitation. Such trust was sothing he had never experienced at any other job.

For this level of trust alone, he was determined to complete his tasks well.

“Brother Li, did you just transfer the full amount?”

The factory owner looked at the transaction record, a bit uncertain.

“That’s right, the full amount. I have other things to do, so I’ll be heading off now.”

Without waiting for a response, Li Shen turned and left.

Honestly, spending money like this felt pretty good. He suddenly understood why the boss insisted on full paynts.

With the signboard issue settled, only the air conditioning remained. But with his sister handling it, that should be resolved soon as well.

One Day Later

“Co on, help out! The sooner the AC gets installed, the sooner we all get to enjoy it.”

Inside the workshop, Wei Yan smiled as he watched employees assisting the installation workers.

“Not bad, Li Shen. You got this done so quickly? You settled the air conditioning in just one day?”

“Brother Yan, my sister sells them, and my brother-in-law installs them. How could it not be fast?”

Li Shen puffed out his chest and grinned, then continued,

“By the way, about the signboard—the production will take longer than two days, but we’ve already paid the full amount. I still don’t get why the boss insists on full paynts when a deposit would suffice.”

“The boss must have his reasons.”

Wei Yan patted Li Shen’s shoulder aningfully.

“Keep up the good work. I just got off the phone with the boss—he’s very pleased with how efficient you are.”

“Got it, Brother Yan!”

Li Shen straightened up and responded seriously.

He was feeling motivated. Most factory owners didn’t care about their employees’ well-being, but his new boss was different.

A company like this was rare, and he wanted to cherish the opportunity.

“By the way, Brother Yan, what about the orders? The AC installation is finishing today, but we still need work to do.”

“Don’t worry, we secured an order. The deposit will hit the company account tomorrow, and then you can start working.”

Wei Yan smiled. After contacting clients nonstop yesterday, he finally landed an order.

It was a small one, worth only a few tens of thousands, but it was a start. Several other clients had shown interest as well. He believed that with a bit more effort, he could close those deals too.

“Brother Yan, you’re amazing!”

“Enough with the flattery. Just work hard. The new boss is a good one.”

With that, Wei Yan patted Li Shen’s shoulder again and walked away.

He still had more clients to reach out to—he needed to secure more orders.

Old Town Residential Complex

Chen Mo lounged on his sofa, grinning with excitent.

Today was the system’s settlent day. He had just gotten off the phone with Wei Yan, and everything on that end had been taken care of. The system funds were now down to just over 200 yuan—money left over from purchasing the AC and signboard, which had been returned to the company account.

According to the system’s settlent rules, as long as the remaining funds were below 1,000 yuan, the full one million yuan could be converted.

So, whether he spent the remaining 200 yuan or not didn’t matter—it wouldn’t affect the payout.

Chen Mo turned his attention to the system panel in his mind.

[Host: Chen Mo]

[System Funds: 231 (1,000,000)]

[Personal Assets: 3,527]

[Settlent Cycle: One Week (Countdown: 23 minutes, 49 seconds)]

With only 20 minutes left, he could barely contain his excitent.

In just 20 minutes, he would officially beco a millionaire.

Changfeng Garnt Factory

Wei Yan walked through the workshop, enjoying the cool air from the new AC units. He felt great.

In the distance, the workers were also smiling as they worked.

“Brother Yan, can we start production now?”

Li Shen hurried over, eager to know.

“Yes, go ahead and inform everyone to start on the order. Do a good job—quality matters for future business.”

Wei Yan had just gotten off a call confirming that the client’s deposit would be transferred soon.

“I understand, Brother Yan!”

Li Shen grinned and quickly went to organize the work.

Watching the now-busy workshop, Wei Yan couldn’t help but smile.
