Without warning, Krono suddenly acted. His eyes flared with brilliant light and the cavern trembled with the sudden surge of his power. He didn’t announce what he was doing because he was too eager to reach an answer, too intent on tearing through the uncertainty in front of them as soon as possible.

Erend, Eccar, and Aesa imdiately felt the changes. The air grew thick with pressure as ripples spread from Krono’s body, distorting the space around him like heat bending the horizon.

Each ripple carried the sense of ti rushing forward at impossible speeds. Entire streams of monts flashing past in an instant.

To the three, it was like peering through cracks in a wall. They can see shards of glimpses that were so fractured and uncertain, but undeniably there and happened around them. Sothing was moving beyond those cracks but for them it was too vast to fully see.

None of them spoke. They exchanged glances but all chose the sa course, which was to wait. This was Krono’s domain, and forcing words into it right now would an nothing.

The cavern crystals began to glow brighter, their facets shimring as if resonating with the temporal waves rolling through the air.

Stone walls flickered with fleeting images of the future that were too faint to comprehend. Minutes passed, the silence broken only by the low hum and vibration of power.

Finally, the radiance in Krono’s eyes dimd. He took a long and low breath, closing his lids as the ripples faded away.

The vibration in the air lifted, but the silence deepened.

Erend, Eccar, and Aesa could all see it in his expression that the news he brought would not be good.

"I still can’t reach the source," Krono said at last, his tone grave.

"What do you an?" Erend asked sharply.

"That thing is interfering with ," Krono explained, his voice low but steady. "It blocks my sight and bends it away from its movents. I cannot see its actions in the future. But..." his eyes opened, a faint glimr of light still burning within, "I can see what will happen to us when we arrive, and what will happen to the worlds next."

Relief flickered across their faces, though muted. At least they weren’t completely blind.

"I will explain," Krono continued, his voice dropping into sothing heavier. "But you must understand that what I saw was not good. Nearly everything was disaster."

"Well, just spit it out," Eccar said, his jaw tight, his expression hardening into determination. "We already know it will be like this from the start."

"Alright," Krono said, and he began to recount his vision.

The more he spoke, the darker their faces beca. Frowns deepened, jaws clenched, and silence grew sharper around them. With every word the gravity of inevitability pressed harder.

Erend’s fists tightened until his knuckles whitened. His teeth ground together and before he realized it his aura flared out. Fire, water, and lightning bled into the air in chaotic harmony, making the cavern shudder faintly with his power.

Aesa’s eyes narrowed. She turned her head slightly, studying him, and right now she felt the abyss open wider.

The power she had sensed earlier now stretched further, darker, and deeper. It wasn’t just vast but also felt unrelenting, pressing into her bones like an ocean without end.

She wondered if Krono and Eccar felt the sa. Yet when she glanced at them, their expressions didn’t shift. Perhaps they were already used to this, accustod to standing beside such a presence.

"We will not let that happen," Eccar said firmly, his voice cutting through Erend’s storm.

Erend looked at him, drew in a sharp breath, and after a mont forced himself to calm.

His aura receded, leaving only a simr of power behind.

"So what we do now... is warn them. Before any of this happens."

"Yes," Krono said without hesitation.

"Alright," Erend muttered, his voice steadier now. "At least we have a clear direction."

Eccar gave a sharp nod. Krono mirrored the motion. But Aesa did not.

"I don’t even know most of these places where the disasters will strike," she said flatly.

Erend blinked and glanced at Eccar, then at Krono. Her words reminded them that Aesa was still new to their fold, she was still an outsider to the paths they had walked and the worlds they had touched.

She didn’t know the nas, the faces, or the histories tied to these visions.

It would take ti for her to understand everything.

Krono broke the silence first.

"You can learn while we move," he said with a gentle tone, understanding her situation.

Aesa’s lips pressed into a thin line. She clearly didn’t like the idea, but she didn’t argue either. Instead, she let out a sharp sigh, folded her arms across her chest, and leaned back slightly with begrudging acceptance.

Krono then turned to Erend. "We should split. It will be faster that way. You will stay with Aesa. While we travel, you need to explain what she needs to know."

Erend nodded without hesitation. "That works for ."

Eccar let out a long exhale of relief, muttering under his breath, "At least I won’t be the one stuck explaining everything." His shoulders loosened, though his eyes stayed sharp on the matter at hand.

Aesa glanced at Erend then her frown deepened. Being placed with him unsettled her in a way she couldn’t quite explain. His presence was too heavy, too unfamiliar, and it pressed against her nerves rather than calming them.

But deep down, she admitted to herself it wasn’t just him. She didn’t really feel safe with anyone except when she was alone.

Still, there was no choice here. She wanted this done as quickly as possible, the sa as them. The sooner they finished the sooner she could retreat back to her solitude.

"Alright," Aesa said curtly, her voice clipped and curt.

Krono gave a small nod. "Then it’s decided. We move now."

The decision settled over the cavern like a final toll of a bell. The ti to act had co.
