Aerchon’s blade carved through the air. Silver light trailing behind each pf his attack. His movents were sharp and relentless. His attacks fueled by a rising storm of energy and rage that burned like a silver fla around his body.

The aura flared brighter with each mont, his rage intensifying as he pressed forward without hesitation.

Laston, however, remained eerily composed. His own silver aura now looks darkened to an almost tallic gray, pulsed with a cold energy that strangely familiar with Elf Magic but also very different.

Every one of Aerchon’s blows was t with precise deflections. Laston using his cybernetic arm to absorbing the impact. Sparks flew as tal clashed against enchanted steel, the room around them suffering the consequences of their battle.

The chamber was once a control center that filled with towering panels and flickering screens. Now, it was reduced to chaos. Panels shattered, conduits ripped apart, and the floor fractured beneath their feet.

The hum of failing machinery filled the air, warning lights flashing in protest as their battle tore through the remnants of technology that once powered Skyreach Tower.

However, the weird thing is there are no other people or guards seen in the area.

Aerchon gritted his teeth. He wasn’t just fighting to win againts his uncle who had betrayed him. He was fighting to end this.

With a fierce cry, he spun and shifting his stance and delivering a downward slash that carried the full force of his Magic force.

The mont his sword connected with Laston’s arm a massive shockwave erupted, sending debris flying in every direction.

Laston grunted, skidding backward, his tal boots leaving deep grooves in the wrecked floor. He flexed his fingers, shaking off the lingering force of the impact.

"You indeed have beco stronger," he admitted, his tone still laced with that sa calm but there was an edge of irritation now. "Stronger than I expected you to be. But you’re still predictable. You are acting by your rage and impulse. As always."

Aerchon’s glare sharpened, his silver aura intensifying. He wasn’t in the mood for talking right now.

"You betrayed our people, and I’m going to make sure you you paid for that!" Aerchon said through gritted teeth.

Laston exhaled, shaking his head. "I’m just saying that you’re so blinded by your emotions, boy. That’s why you’ll lose."

Without warning, his gray aura surged, twisting around him like tendrils of liquid tal.

The cybernetic enhancents around his bidy pulsed with strange energy and before Aerchon could react Laston lunged forward, his speed tripling in an instant.

Aerchon didn’t manage to raise his blade so that Laston’s fist slamd into his ribs.

A sickening crack echoed through the ruined chamber as Aerchon was sent hurtling backward, smashing through another row of shattered panels.

Pain exploded in his chest, but he didn’t stay down. Gritting his teeth, he pushed himself up, his aura flaring even brighter.

Laston’s expression was unreadable now as he flexed his fingers.

"You’re not the only one who have beco stronger, Aerchon. I’ve surpassed the limits of what you think is possible of an Elf can do."

Aerchon wiped blood from the corner of his mouth and took a steady breath. He knew this wouldn’t be easy. Laston wasn’t just stronger, he had sothing else, sothing unnatural enhancing his power.

But that didn’t matter for Aerchon.

He tightened his grip on his sword. He wasn’t going to let Laston walk away from this.

With a single step, he launched himself forward again, his silver aura roaring like a storm.

Saeldir, Arlyn, Sylra, and Vael stepped out from the wreckage of the previous chamber, their breaths still heavy from the battle against Eryndor.

The sight before them was just as chaotic as the room before. And at the center of it all, Aerchon and Laston’s battle raged on, their auras clashing violently.

Arlyn’s sharp eyes tracked the movent between the two combatants. "Laston doesn’t seem to realize we’ve already destroyed his toy," he muttered.

"I think so," Saeldir responded, but there was uncertainty in his voice. He observed Laston closely, his brows furrowing. The way Laston fought and the way he carried himself didn’t feel like a desperate last stand. It felt deliberate.

Vael adjusted his bowstring, glancing at Saeldir. "So, what now? Do we help Aerchon kill him?"

Saeldir remained silent for a mont, his mind thinking. Then, finally he spoke. "Not everyone."

The others looked at him in confusion.

"Laston must be planning sothing," Saeldir continued, his gaze sharp. "Think about it. He already knew we were here. And yet, no reinforcents have co. No alarms, no guards rushing in, despite all this destruction." He gestured at the wrecked room around them. "If he really wanted to defend this place, why isn’t there anyone else?"

Arlyn’s jaw tightened. "Because he wanted us here."

Saeldir nodded. "Exactly. He wanted to keep us occupied. This isn’t just so desperate battle for survival, he’s playing with us. Which ans he still has another plan in motion."

Sylra’s expression darkened. "So what do we do? If he’s stalling, that ans there’s sothing worse coming."

Saeldir’s eyes glead with determination.

"We split up. Aerchon is already giving it everything he has and Laston won’t go down. But we can’t afford to stay trapped in his ga. We need to find out what else he’s planning before it’s too late. Then we’ll break whatever he have before sothing bad closes around us."

Arlyn exchanged a glance with Sylra before nodding. "Alright. Who’s staying, and who’s searching?"

Saeldir’s gaze flickered toward Aerchon, who was once again launching himself at Laston with unwavering fury.

"Aerchon won’t let this fight end until Laston is either dead or broken. We can’t pull him away, and frankly, I doubt he’d let us." He turned to Arlyn. "You and Sylra stay with him. If he in danger, back him up."

Arlyn gave a sharp nod. "Understood."

"What about us?" Vael asked.

"We find whatever Laston is preparing," Saeldir said. "Or we destroyed the comstruct he been building here."

Vael’s grip tightened around his bow. "Then let’s move fast."

With their decision made, they split apart. Arlyn and Sylra moving to the edges of the battlefield, keeping a close eye on Aerchon’s duel, while Saeldir and Vael turned their attention to the deeper, unseen corridors of Skyreach Tower.
