Su Yue, having slipped back under the water, now reappeared behind Lin Li and sent another spray of water flying.
Getting splashed in the face again, Lin Li quickly spun around. But by the ti he had, Su Yue had vanished once more.
"Su Yue, don’t you think you’re going a little too far?!" Lin Li said, scanning his surroundings for any sign of her.
"What? With swimming skills as terrible as yours, you think you can get back at ?" Su Yue’s smug voice ca from Lin Li’s right.
Turning toward the sound, Lin Li looked at Su Yue’s radiant smile and said helplessly,
"How can you bully soone just because you’re a good swimr? That’s not right... After all, you’re a teacher, soone who educates and guides the young!
What would your students think if they found out their teacher was doing sothing like this?"
Lin Li tried to reason with her, hoping to convince Su Yue to stop using her superior swimming skills to ss with him. But having finally gotten a chance to tease him to her heart’s content, how could Su Yue possibly let it go so easily?
"It’s vacation, I’m not at school, and no one here knows . No one will ever find out what I do..." Su Yue said with a grin.
"..." Hearing this, Lin Li knew that reasoning wouldn’t work on this cunning woman, so he changed his tactics.

The splashing water on his face didn’t hurt at all, but the feeling of being unable to fight back was incredibly frustrating for Lin Li.
"Hahaha..." Seeing Lin Li get hit by her splash again, Su Yue cackled with glee, like a hen who had just laid an egg.
"You’ve really gone too far this ti..." Lin Li said seriously, wiping the seawater from his face.
"I plan to go too far! Co and get if you can!" Su Yue said defiantly.
She had every reason to be this cocky. After all, the gap between her swimming ability and Lin Li’s was enormous. In Su Yue’s eyes, it was utterly impossible for him to catch her.

After swimming about fifty ters away, Su Yue turned to look back. She saw that she had left Lin Li far behind and laughed as she called out to him, who was still slowly paddling in her direction.
"Lin Li, you need to swim faster! How are you ever going to catch at that speed?"
Lin Li, who had already decided to wage a war of attrition, calmly replied, "Don’t get too cocky, Su Yue. You’ll be crying later..."
"Tch, anyone can talk big! Co on, co on! Catch first, then we’ll talk!" Su Yue taunted him smugly.
"You’ll find out soon enough whether I’m all talk," Lin Li retorted.
In the ti it took to exchange these few words, he had closed so of the distance between them.
A smile on her face, Su Yue watched Lin Li struggle to swim toward her, trying to catch her. She felt quite happy. In all the ti she’d known him, this was the first ti they had ever interacted like this.
"Whoa! I didn’t think you could swim that fast!" In the mont Su Yue was lost in thought, she realized Lin Li had already closed the distance to just over ten ters away.
