Allen's fist landed cleanly on the face of Allen the Alien, who, from that mont, would be called John the Alien. The force behind the punch was so strong that it montarily caused a ripple in space.
John didn't even have ti to scream before passing out, as several bones and organs were shattered. He flew toward the moon, crashing into it and creating a massive crater. He went straight through the moon, and as he ca out of the dark side, he tore off a large chunk of the moon. Rocks, now destined to beco teors, shot off in all directions, and the largest piece of the moon was about the size of a continent.
It was a total disaster caused by provoking the wrong person.
The one-eyed, orange-colored alien was wearing a quite futuristic and stylish jacket. He was part of the Planetary Coalition, an organization tasked with protecting peace and justice in the universe, at least, that's what he had told Mark when they first t.
He was also a recurring and important character in Invincible, as well as one of the few beings capable of fighting Viltrumites. So, despite the devastating blow he had received, he didn't die but remained unconscious, floating in space. Of course, Allen's goal wasn't to destroy the moon or kill the cyclops alien... so he would definitely survive. Well, that last part was in doubt because John the Alien had worked hard to make Allen angry, and for a mont, he succeeded.
...
Allen looked at the result of his actions with regret. He grabbed his head, worried about the repercussions of all this. The tides would be affected, but more importantly, he wouldn't receive his bonus for jobs like this.
"First, I had to endure a speech from that bastard Nolan, and now I have to deal with the fact that I destroyed the moon," Allen suddenly had an epiphany. "Wait! Technically, it wasn't . It was John the Alien who carelessly used his unconscious body to crash through the moon!"
Ivy – Impossible that's going to work as an excuse...
Artemis – That's... too forced...
PercyJ – Bro, you punched him, just own up to it, hehe.
"But why?! Listen, he asked to, right? That can't be denied. Also, do you think I would destroy the moon on purpose? Our moon? It's the only one we have. We can't be careless like Jupiter with its 79 pompous moons."
MJ – Didn't you destroy the moon in your fight against Evil Superman?
Allen crossed his arms indignantly. "But it wasn't on purpose... it was collateral damage justified by the circumstances."
Tony – I don't know, once might be an accident, but twice? Sounds like you have sothing against the moon.
"I was fighting practically the embodint of the sun, and now against a masochistic alien who goes around the universe asking people to hit him, a weird thing." Allen shook his head. "Okay! We can argue about whose fault it was, or we can figure out a solution..."
Gwen – I don't know, can't you repair it?
"Mmm, I don't think 'Reparo' would work for sothing that big..." Allen looked as the largest piece of the moon began to float away. Since it was on the dark side, it was hardly noticeable from the front. At that mont, Allen thought maybe it wouldn't be so noticeable. "Couldn't I just pretend nothing happened?"
Natasha – Sweetie...
Diana – Allen...
Emma W – Darling...
Unohana – Dear...
Seeing so many eyes on him, the shaless one decided to give in this ti. "Okay, fine, I get it... I could repair the moon, but actually, I have a much better idea..."
Allen was about to leave, but from a distance, he saw John the Alien floating in space. He enclosed him in a bubble so that when he woke up, he could find his ship and leave. He didn't arrest the alien or bring him to Earth because Omni-Man would likely try to kill him to prevent him from revealing information about the Viltrumites that Earth shouldn't know. Or worse, he might end up as an experint at Area 51.
...
Mark entered his house in a bad mood while Deborah looked at her son with a worried expression.
"How about Ian Pizza? I could go to Italy right now," Omni-Man said with a smile. However, this only irritated Mark more.
Noticing this, Omni-Man gave him a pat on the shoulder. During the funeral, he noticed that Mark had been chatting with Eve, but she seed distracted, glancing behind her occasionally as if waiting for soone.
"Son, is it about that red-haired girl? Don't worry, you're my son. Beautiful girls won't be missing in your life."
Mark shrugged his father's hand off. "It's not that, just... how can you act like this?!"
"Co on, son, we can't be depressed forever."
Annoyed, Mark stord upstairs. Deborah also scolded Nolan.
"We could've buried you," Deborah recalled how Olga, Josef's (Red Rush's) girlfriend, had broken down in tears.
"Co on, you know I'm not that easy to kill," Nolan half-joked, but quickly realized it wasn't the right ti and apologized, hugging his wife. "I'm sorry..."
Nolan hugged his wife for a long ti, but his gaze turned cold as he looked at two moons in the sky.
'So that's why he disappeared from the funeral...'
For Nolan, the only value humans had was their compatibility with Viltrumites when it ca to reproduction. Needless to say, not even the entire human race could defeat him, but that man who arrived, that human, was the only variable he couldn't foresee. And as ti went on, he was becoming a real threat.
Nolan knew he was slacking in his performance in front of his family but it was unavoidable. All of this kindness, heroism, and love was only temporary. Deep down, Nolan knew that his identity as Omni-Man was also temporary, and the ti would co when he would have to reveal who he really was. The fate of this world had long since stopped being in the hands of humans.
Nolan narrowed his eyes, staring at the second moon, thinking about his greatest obstacle. 'Allen Walker...'
...
Mark entered his room and lay down on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
During both funerals, his father gave two speeches: one reassuring and hopeful, and the other seed genuinely sad. Mark overheard that the Guardians were the ones who received Nolan, tested him, and accepted him into this world. They had been friends, even though he was never a full-fledged Guardian.
That downcast appearance, sad eyes, and broken voice had broken everyone's heart, but the mont the funeral was over, and they returned, his father's attitude changed as if everything that had happened before didn't matter anymore.
Mark felt strange. His father even wanted to eat pizza when just monts ago, he seed heartbroken. Plus, his father had a point. Mark wouldn't deny there was so attraction to Atom Eve, but she had a boyfriend, which eliminated that possibility from the start.
Mark got up from his bed, grabbed his phone, and called Amber, a girl he had t at school.
'Hi... Amber..."
...
Atom Eve, who had just returned ho, looked at her phone. She had called Rex four tis, but he hadn't answered. The day before, she had asked him to accompany her to the funeral, but he refused, saying he didn't want to spend his day off on that.
Her words had led to a fight. Eve grabbed her phone, sighed, and called him.
"Rex..."
"What's up? Have you finished burying the guardians?"
"We need to break up..."
"What? ...Hey, babe, don't tell it's because I didn't go with you to that stupid funeral?!"
"When was the last ti we went out?"
"That was... of course... two months ago."
"Rex, when was the last ti we had a conversation that didn't end in a fight? When was the last ti we gave each other a gift? When was the last ti we could respect each other?"
"Eve, I've been a bit of an idiot for a long ti, but..."
"No, Rex... I realized sothing: I don't enjoy talking to you, and you don't enjoy talking to , either. I know you'd prefer a girl who shares more of your carefree lifestyle, but that's not ..."
"Tell , is it because of that guy Mark or the other bastard?!"
"You didn't even listen to anything I said, did you?"
"I... alright, let's break up."
Eve hung up the phone and sat down on the floor. These situations were never pleasant for anyone.
...
(Base of the New Guardians)
Rex sighed softly, lowered his head slightly, and then looked at Dupli-Kate.
"Hey, you didn't answer if I wanted to go out to the movies?"
The girl was obsessively staring at a tablet, but she jumped when she heard Rex. She was Katherine "Kate" Cha, whose superhero na was Dupli-Kate. She had the power to clone herself. As long as the clones didn't die, she remained alive. Rex had wanted to experience sothing, but he held back out of respect for Eve, although that respect had ended long before they broke up.
Rex started flirting with Kate before breaking up with Eve, but now that they've broken up he can openly pursue the clone girl. Part of Rex blad Eve for not wanting to sleep with him after dating for six months.
"I..." Kate seed stunned for a mont, then she stood up and walked off without looking at Rex.
"What?! What happened?!"
Robot approached from behind. "Humans are animals after all. Males and females act on instincts when choosing a mate. A lot of factors influence this, but when a specin of high quality appears, it's difficult for the others to capture the females' attention..."
"I didn't understand anything you just said, but I know you're insulting !"
Robot moved away, leaving Rex alone.
...
(A few hours later)
Allen decided he deserved a good rest and went to a food cart for a hotdog. Allen also bought so for the girls who wanted one. He enjoyed his hotdog while watching a patrol car chase a vehicle.
"What's happening to the world?" the vendor sighed as he handed Allen ten more hotdogs. Allen had already bought forty, which were distributed among his girls and dolls, but Chat and his friends started ordering as well.
"Thanks, I need twenty more, boss."
"Right away!"
The vendor opened his cart and skillfully grabbed sausage after sausage, placing them in buns he had already prepared. However, his gaze remained downcast. It was hard to find a person today who didn't share the sa mood.
"Here are twenty!"
Allen smiled with a hint of amusent and waved his hand; the hotdogs disappeared and were sent to his hungry viewers. The vendor wasn't surprised. He lived in a world full of superheroes and supervillains, with alien invasions and monsters from the depths.
"Alright, young man, that'll be..."
Just as the vendor was about to charge him, Allen smiled with malice mixed with amusent and pulled out an envelope. "How about this... Mr. Stuart, I could pay you and leave this on your wife's desk..."
The vendor took the envelope and turned pale. It contained photos of him and a woman who wasn't his wife entering a motel. The man looked at Allen with resentnt. The bastard had just cleaned out his stand and didn't plan to pay.
Allen raised an eyebrow in amusent. "I see it wasn't enough to convince you. How about I tell you about Susan from the laundromat, Lisa from the supermarket, or your kind 65-year-old neighbor, whom you visit every Tuesday at midnight?"
The man shifted from anger to shock and then fear. "I don't..."
"I don't mind if you have an active nightlife, but two of them are married, and I'm sure your wife doesn't know about this..."
"Ah! That's right! Today's Thursday, the 100% discount day!"
"But it's Tuesday..."
"Right, I ant Tuesday for 100% off!"
Allen shook his head a bit, looking unsatisfied. "I don't know. A 200% discount seems more appropriate..."
The man trembled and went pale, as if about to spit blood. However, he pulled out his wallet and gave Allen the money for everything he'd bought.
"I'll take this as a tip for my fine detective services..."
"Just leave and don't co back," the vendor said.
"Don't worry," Allen smiled and leaned in closer to the man. "If I were you, I'd get tested. The laundromat girl has at least five people like you on her list."
The man turned even paler, closed his stand, and ran off.
Allen looked at the sky with a satisfied grin. "This regulating thing is so satisfying, it almost makes believe in the justice system again."
His Chat went silent. He wasn't doing anything truly evil, but he was beginning to enjoy ssing with people's lives. As for his girlfriends, they didn't plan on telling him anything as long as he did it to people who deserved it.
Harley – Hahaha, daddy's getting naughty~
Rebecca – I say it's not enough, can I send the surveillance videos to the wife?! hahaha
"I can't, I may have ruined his day, but I made a deal, and I'll keep my word~"
Harley – Tsk... Daddy, you're still inflexible in so areas~
...
While walking through the streets, Allen received a call from Cecil.
"Now what do you need, Cecil?" Allen yawned. The voice on the other end of the line was silent for a mont.
"Walker, I asked you to take care of Allen the Alien, didn't I?"
"Yeah, I did, and from now on, he's called John the Alien."
"What? Never mind, what I want to know is sothing else..." Cecil seed to be holding back from cursing out loud. "Walker, tell why there are two moons in the sky..."
"..." Allen remained silent while his Chat burst into laughter. "I don't know, maybe it's always been like that."
"Don't ss with ! Do you think I'm stupid?!"
"If I answer that, I'll probably get fired," Allen looked up at the sky. Sure enough, there were two moons. "Besides, aren't you being hasty? Do you think I went to Jupiter while in space and pushed one of its moons to Earth? Do you think I did that to cover up the fact that I nearly destroyed the moon and now it's missing a huge chunk?!"
"YOU DID WHAT?!"
"It's a taphor..."
"Ah... oh God... what did you do..."
"Look at the bright side, now there are two moons. Can you imagine how much inspiration this will give to heartbroken teenagers, romantic singers, poets, writers, and many others who use the moon for inspiration? I'm basically giving them double the inspiration, and I don't see anyone thanking ?!"
"Allen, you're a son of a..."
Before Cecil could finish his sentence, Allen hung up. Then he looked at the screen of his Chat, where a spam of laughter was filling the chat.
"I think it turned out better than many of you anticipated, ladies and gentlen, the pessimists..."
Rick – "I take it back, that Omni-Man doesn't compare to you in shalessness! Hahaha"
Thor – "Bro, that was freaking hilarious! Hahaha"
Hulk – "Hahahaha"
Rias – "You're terrifying haha"

(Chicago Center)
Allen walked forward to the center of the avenue where the Flaxans ca the last ti. In the original story, they ca three tis, but ti had passed, and they were supposed to return but hadn't yet.
Artoria – Maybe they got scared?
Wednesday – It's possible, given that they saw what you did to their planet with a small attack.
Albedo – No creatures are stupid enough to attack Allen-sama twice after seeing his magnificence!~
Esdeath – Succubus, don't you get tired of flattering Allen? He won't treat you any better for it...
Albedo – Shut up, a woman like you lacks the dedication to serve Allen-sama!. I'd gladly replace you when you're invited to his bed❤️~
Esdeath – What did you say?!
"Silence..."
Allen interrupted the girls as a portal opened in front of him. The Flaxans lived in a world where ti moved faster. Even one day on Earth could be decades for them, so if they ca back, it was because they felt confident enough to face Allen.
Allen smiled, eager to see what the Flaxans had brought to deal with him...
"It's ti to Regulate these bastards..."
===
A/N: He said it! Allen said it! "I will Regulate them because I am The Regulator"
