Qiu Tong answered Qiu Rong’s question firmly. Her honesty and warmth made Qiu Rong feel unprecedentedly secure.
Qiu Rong hugged her tightly. Both their eyes had reddened with emotion. They didn’t say anything else.
In the stairway near the laboratory, a few tiny heads were crowded together.
The children were trying to eavesdrop when they saw Qiu Rong and Qiu Tong walking out side by side. Their expressions were solemn and the atmosphere was awkward and stiff.
Qiu Xingqiao was so impatient that he lost his balance and fell. He covered his mouth and ignored the dull pain ing from his butt.
Qiu Xingyu narrowed her eyes worriedly. She tugged at the corner of Ye Luan’s shirt, already imagining the worst-case scenario.
“Did Grandpa fight with Mommy? Does he want Mommy to bring us out of here? What about Uncle Jin Yang?”
As Qiu Xingyuan listened to her whining, his cold and handsome face was filled with dark clouds. He quietly clenched his fists and tried to think of a solution.
Ye Luan was a little older, so he came up with a brilliant suggestion. “We can let Uncle Jin Yang do something to please Grandpa Qiu!”
The other children looked at Ye Luan. Half an hour later, Qiu Xingyu ran to the study and pulled Jin Yang out by the wrist.
Jin Yang followed her to the garden in surprise. When he saw the three children standing there solemnly, he instantly became a little nervous.
Qiu Xingyu stood beside Qiu Xingyuan with her hands on her waist. The children looked like they were about to interrogate Jin Yang. Qiu Xingyuan asked, “Are you willing to give up everything for Mommy and do whatever it takes to make her happy? You don’t want to see her being caught between Grandpa and you, right?”
Jin Yang nodded, not understanding what the children were trying to say.
Carrying a hoe, Qiu Xingqiao pointed at the plant nursery a distance away. He gestured for Jin Yang to e closer.
Jin Yang hesitated for two seconds before striding to their side and squatting down. The children crowded around him and whispered into his ear. Shao An saw this scene from afar. Thinking that they were having an intimate family moment, Shao An sighed enviously.
“In just a few days, his relationship with the children has progressed so quickly…”
The children’s explanation was a little messy but Jin Yang managed to pick out the keywords and finally understood their intentions. He rubbed his aching ears in amusement.
Qiu Xingyu looked up at him worriedly. “Got it?”
Jin Yang rubbed the top of her head with his hands. Looking at her fluffy and perky hair, he couldn’t help smiling. “Don’t worry!”

The next day at noon, Jin Yang brought Shao An to the nearby plant nursery and bought hundreds of fresh flower buds.
Shao An carried the flower pots and seedlings to the loading truck. He rubbed the sore muscles in his arms and grumbled, “Sir, are you going to change professions to bee a flower farmer? Where do you plan to put these seedlings?”
Shao An felt that Jin Yang’s recent actions were being increasingly difficult to predict.
Jin Yang also raised his hand to wipe the sweat off his forehead. He looked at the message he received on his phone. “Let’s set off. The materials I ordered for planting have arrived. We need to move them into the garden now. Later, you’ll follow me and plant them in the backyard.”
