The tone, the phrasing, the choice of words—it was all so familiar.
Unable to suppress her shock and curiosity, Qiao Xixi slowly peeked her head out from behind the reef and looked up.
When she saw Huang Ying sprawled on the reef, she was even more shocked. ’It’s her, the female who impersonated Xiya’s mother?’
’Why?’
’Could she be like , bound to a system and required to complete missions?’
’But what kind of system mission would require her to impersonate a cub’s mother?’

Just as Qiao Xixi was about to call out Little Sprite to ask about it, a large shadow fell over her, and Fenglin arrived at Huang Ying’s side.
"My lady, are you alright?"
Huang Ying glared at him irritably. "Do I look alright to you?"
"My lady, we should head back to Wing Beast City first. We released all the rfolk, so Tiger Beast City will definitely be unhappy. I’m afraid you’ll be in danger if you stay."

Qiao Xixi nodded. "I’m fine, but Xiya and the tiger cubs are missing. Can you take to find them?"
Xijing’s expression changed slightly. He took the fish scale from Qiao Xixi’s hand and felt it. When he sensed the life force coming from the scale, he let out a breath.
"Don’t worry, we’ll go find them right now."
"Okay."
Xijing took Qiao Xixi with him as he sank into the sea.
Riding on Xijing’s back, Qiao Xixi didn’t forget to summon Little Sprite.
’Little Sprite? Little Sprite?’
There was no response in her mind. Qiao Xixi frowned. ’Did it run off to upgrade again?’
’No matter what, I have to find the cubs first and be prepared.’

Qiao Xixi’s words surprised Xijing. He’d actually been surprised ever since he first t her on the island.
"Xixi, are your beastman mates not taking good care of you?"
In the beast world, even among the sea beastn of the ocean regions, females rarely concerned themselves with other matters. They were mostly taken care of by males. A female like Qiao Xixi, who went out to handle business with her cubs, was even rarer.
That’s why Xijing had such a suspicion.
Qiao Xixi also knew her behavior was slightly different from other females, so it wasn’t strange that Xijing had such a question.
"Not at all. They’re all doing a great job."
"If they’re doing a great job, why would they let you co out here and take risks?"

Qiao Qiao rolled over and wrapped her little arms around Xiya.
Jin Ling took a step forward, moving in front of Xiya and blocking Sangze’s mismatched eyes, which were emitting an enchanting, cold light in the darkness.
"Sangze, Xiya is Xixi’s cub, too."
Sangze scoffed, a flash of killing intent in his eyes.
’I an, seriously, can anyone understand this? I open my eyes, and boom, there’s another cub—and it’s Qiao Xixi’s, no less.’
At this mont, Sangze’s desire to destroy everything reached its peak!
"If that rman dares to latch onto Xixi, I’ll tear him to shreds. You’re not going to stop , are you, Big Snake?"
Sunxiao pulled the beast-hide blanket higher over the cubs without turning his head. "You’d best do what you say."
Sangze sneered and walked towards the sea, planning to kill a few wild beasts to vent the frustration in his heart.
But just as he took a step, Feiyan’s surprised cry ca from behind him. "It looks like Xixi is heading our way."
Hearing this, the several males all quickly opened their locators to check.
At this sight, a joyful expression appeared on everyone’s face.
"Do you think Xixi knew we were here, and that’s why she’s coming to find us?"

This news swept away their previous gloom. As long as they could see Xixi, nothing else mattered!
