"Jin Ling, you’re the sa way, aren’t you?"
Jin Ling lifted his eyelids slightly, his gilded pupils resting coolly on Feiyan’s face.
"What?"
Feiyan snorted. "Don’t play dumb. I just rembered—you were the first one with this problem. Those last two tis, you punk, you got up *after* Xixi. That’s never happened before."
Every other ti Jin Ling and Xixi fooled around, wasn’t he always up at the crack of dawn? But lately? Xixi was already up, and he was still dead to the world. Sothing’s definitely wrong.
Jin Ling lowered his gaze, his voice gentle. "Last night, you... and Sangze... both of you. In the end, Xixi still woke up in Sunxiao’s room. She even slept for most of the night. That... was a rather short ti, wasn’t it?"
The panther and the fox’s fur nearly stood on end!
"Jin Ling, you’re just pretending to be smug!"
Sangze nearly ground his teeth to dust, black mist swirling from his body. "Hah! I was just afraid of tiring Xixi out!"
A faint smile touched Jin Ling’s lips. "Mm, I believe you."
Feeling a cold gaze settle on him, Jin Ling turned to look at Sunxiao.
"You were so well-behaved last night. Afraid of losing that snake face of yours?"
The icy snake pupils constricted. He almost lost his composure!
"Jin Ling, you noticed the problem a long ti ago." The great snake, ever the clear thinker, quickly steered the conversation back on track.
The first ti, Jin Ling had truly been emo, just like they were now. But the second ti, he sensed sothing was off.
He was, after all, a beastman with a high-level Awakened Beast Soul. Normally, he could go at it with Xixi for days and nights on end without any issue.
But after just one ti, he was so exhausted he couldn’t even keep his eyes open.
When he thought back on the entire process—yes, that was it. The extre pleasure was a hundred tis more intense than before. He felt he could die inside her body, completely losing all self-control.
When he woke up the next day, he discovered that Qiao Xixi was even more beautiful than before. A soft halo of light seed to envelop her, and her body pulsed with a power that made him want to draw closer involuntarily.
But he didn’t tell anyone about this. After all, it was a matter of a male’s pride.
He observed, and later realized that Sunxiao and the others had noticed the problem too.
But as a male, there were certain things one would absolutely never admit!
"Xixi has a new kind of power, but from the looks of it, this power isn’t harming her in any way. In fact, it seems to be beneficial."
So, Jin Ling didn’t investigate it any further.
"Hmph, but we can’t let this go on forever. One or two nights is one thing, but if we can’t satisfy Xixi after a few more tis, won’t she go looking for other males?"
Feiyan voiced the concern that weighed most heavily on his mind.
He was already sick of the sight of these guys, not to ntion that dead fish. If anyone else showed up, he would seriously be tempted to rip out all of Sangze’s fur!
Sangze flipped his hand over, a dark power gathering in his palm.
"Impossible! I don’t believe it!"
Before Sangze could finish his sentence, he shot up, pushed open the door to Qiao Xixi’s room, and went inside.
Jin Ling and the others couldn’t stop him in ti. The stone room was locked.
Qiao Xixi was sleeping soundly when she felt an itch on her body, followed by a searing hot weight pressing down on her.
She whimpered, trying to push the thing away, but as soon as she reached out her hand, it was caught. A warm, wet sensation on her fingertips jolted her awake.
Qiao Xixi opened her eyes and t a pair of black irises that glowed eerily in the dark.
"Sangze, stop ssing around. I want to sleep."
"You sleep. I’ll take you to feel pleasure in your dreams, hmm?"
Before Qiao Xixi could protest, his teasing sent a wave of heat through her. She squird restlessly, subconsciously pressing her body closer to his.
Sensing the little female’s initiative, the great black panther wasted no more ti and gave her the ultimate satisfaction.
Black mist filled the entire stone room, and it filled her as well.
The three males stood outside the door, their expressions varied.
Feiyan gritted his teeth. "That damn panther is definitely doing this on purpose, making so much noise like he’s afraid we can’t hear!"
Sangze was indeed doing it on purpose. He had to reassert his masculine prowess! He would show them just how amazing he was!
But when the storm finally subsided, Qiao Xixi looked helplessly at the sleeping Sangze.
The weather was getting warr now, and after such... exercise, she wanted to wash up.
Usually, they were the ones to handle this task, but these last few tis, they had fallen asleep so quickly and deeply that Qiao Xixi had to do it herself.
The stone door opened, and Qiao Xixi walked out. She was shocked to see the males standing on the veranda.
"Why aren’t you guys sleeping?"
Feiyan sneered. "Tonight’s session was even shorter than the last one."
Qiao Xixi blinked. "Feiyan, what are you talking about?"
"Xixi, I’ve already drawn your bathwater."
Qiao Xixi smiled. "Great, I’ll go wash up now."
Jin Ling nodded. "I’ll go with you."
"Okay."
But Jin Ling only escorted Qiao Xixi to the outside of the bathing room. He waited outside the door after watching her go in.
Qiao Xixi was stunned. ’They really do have a problem!’
’Usually, by this point, we’d be having another great battle in the bathing room, but tonight, they’re all being so reserved.’
’This... is very wrong!’
’Tomorrow,’ she decided, ’I’ll go ask Feiyan. He seems like the easiest one to break. I need to find out what’s going on.’
「The next morning」
Qiao Xixi personally went to the plaza to hand-deliver the Crystal Stones to everyone.
The beastn looked at the Crystal Stones in their hands with pleasant surprise. Feili imdiately began teaching them how to absorb and process the stones’ power, to prevent any unsolvable problems during the process of Awakening their Beast Souls.
Mo Yan was also sitting among the beastn, his eyes sparkling as he stared at the Crystal Stone in his hand.
’This is so great.’
Everyone listened to Feili’s instructions and followed along.
Qiao Xixi stood to the side, watching. Seeing that everything was proceeding smoothly, she decided to take the cubs to the beast pens to have a look.
Over the past few days, the Hunting Team had caught so Long-eared Rabbit Beasts and captured other wild animals alive. Sunxiao had sorted through them, putting the more gentle and non-aggressive beasts into the pens.
Qiao Xixi had promised the cubs she would take them to see if there was anything they could help with. After doing this, she felt her system’s mission would be complete.
The fenced-in pens were located in a relatively open area of the tribe, currently guarded by three or four male beastn.
When the guarding beastn saw Qiao Xixi arrive, they all ca forward to greet her.
"Clan Leader."
Qiao Xixi nodded with a soft smile. The mont the males saw her smile, their gazes turned dazed.
’The Clan Leader is so beautiful, and she slls so good.’
Seeing this, Sangze, who was standing beside her, frowned. He stepped next to Qiao Xixi, blocking the other males’ line of sight.
"You don’t need to follow us. We’ll look around by ourselves."
The males snapped back to their senses and reluctantly turned to leave.
Sangze turned back and t Qiao Xixi’s grinning eyes. He froze for a mont, his face growing hot again.
"Xixi... I, I was just..."
"I know."
"Huh? You do?"
