"Qiao Lie!"
Qiao Lie’s entire body went rigid.
While he was stunned, the other white cat cubs sank their teeth into his snake body.
Qiao Xixi’s expression changed drastically. She rushed forward and pulled the white cat cubs away.
"All of you, stop it!"
Seeing Qiao Xixi arrive, the white cat cubs fearfully let go of Qiao Lie.
"Wandering Beast, you bit off Baobao’s leg! We’ll never let you get away with this."
One of the white cat cubs turned and ran off in a rage.
Qiao Xixi looked at the wounds on Qiao Lie’s body, her eyes turning red.
Qiao Lie shifted back to his human form. His scarlet snake-like pupils darted to the side, avoiding Qiao Xixi’s gaze.
Seeing Qiao Lie remain silent, Qiao Xixi carefully inspected the bloody holes on his arm, her heart aching.
They were all bites from those white cat cubs.
"Let’s get you back ho and treat these wounds."
"Baobao! My Baobao, how are you?"
Just as Qiao Xixi turned around, a group of beastn approached.
Leading them was a female white cat beast person wearing a white animal-skin skirt.
She anxiously rushed over to the white cat cub whose leg had been bitten off by Qiao Lie and began to wail in anguish.
The white cat cub who had run away earlier pointed at Qiao Lie.

Qiao Xixi sneered. "It’s obvious those cubs stole our wooden bucket first. When Qiao Lie tried to get it back, they attacked him. We were just defending ourselves. What’s wrong with that?"
Qiao Xixi looked at the Tribe Shaman.
"I said before that we don’t start trouble, but if any beastman tries to bully us, we will absolutely not tolerate it."
The Tribe Shaman frowned, glancing at Baobao lying in a pool of blood.
"Even if it was self-defense, you didn’t have to be so excessive. I was wrong. I forgot that you Wandering Beasts are naturally cruel. I never should have let you in."
Qiao Xixi’s face fell completely. The Tribe Shaman was planning to ignore right and wrong.

After speaking, Qiao Xixi looked at the white cat cubs.
"Where did you run into Qiao Lie?"
The tallest of the white cat cubs replied, "By the creek."
"And after you stole Qiao Lie’s bucket, where did you throw it?"
The white cat cub answered without thinking, "We just threw it over there."
He pointed in a direction, and everyone looked over, indeed spotting a broken bucket.
Qiao Xixi’s expression imdiately hardened.

As soon as he finished speaking, the Tribe Shaman’s expression grew even uglier.
"You stole Qiao Lie’s bucket, and you hit him, too?"
