"Jin Ling, Qiao Qiao and Qiao Ang ran off!"
Qiao Xixi ran to the backyard to tell him what happened.

Just like Qiao Lie’s father.
But their father just didn’t seem to get it!
This made them a little sad, and a little angry!
Little cubs don’t know that the adult world isn’t so simple.
So they jumped down from the stone stool in disappointnt.
"We’re going back now."

The place they were living was in a remote part of the territory. She rembered Ma Qing saying that the Clan Leader lived at the very front of the clan’s area.
She was heading this way because the cubs had ntioned before that Feiyan was the clan’s Young Clan Leader.
She suspected the two cubs had run off to find their father.
"Miss, are you looking for sothing?"
Qiao Xixi’s path was blocked by a figure.
Qiao Xixi looked at the person, confused.
It was a girl wearing a light brown beast-hide tunic. Her long brown hair was tied in a ponytail, and her face was round, making her look pure and cute.
Qiao Xixi assud she was a beast-person from the clan.
"Excuse , have you seen two little snow fox cubs? Around three years old, one male and one female."
Youyue humd affirmatively.
"I saw them. It looked like the Young Clan Leader took them away."
Hearing this, Qiao Xixi’s expression darkened.
She had clearly told Feiyan that he couldn’t just take the cubs without her permission. How could he go back on his word?
"Miss, are those two cubs yours and the Young Clan Leader’s?"
Qiao Xixi was so focused on finding the cubs that she didn’t pay attention to Youyue’s words.

"You’re just the worst! Let’s go back."
Cradling the cubs, Qiao Xixi turned and left.
Feiyan’s narrow fox eyes narrowed further. ’I knew it,’ he thought. ’All these females are the sa—spoiled and domineering.’
"Young Clan Leader."
Feiyan snapped out of it and looked toward the female at his side.
It was that Saintess.
Feiyan composed himself, a faint smile seeming to appear in his eyes as he looked at her.
"What is it?"
Youyue fidgeted with her fingers, her eyes looking exceptionally innocent.
She said in a small voice, "Young Clan Leader, I just ca out for a walk around the clan’s territory, but I think I’m lost. C-could you take back?"
