Chapter 1120: Chapter 1119 Bianfu Hall, Entering the Minor World
“It’s best if it’s today,” Xu Zii said indifferently.
“Then let’s do it this afternoon,” Elder Qian Sha readily agreed.
Having won the competition, he could justify himself to the Demon Sect and was naturally willing to agree to anything.
Xu Zii nodded and prepared to leave the Central Square, but was stopped by Pill Saint Elder.
“Taoist Friend Xu, are you interested in becoming a Guest Elder for our Pill Tower?” The Pill Saint Elder said with a smile.
“Not interested,” Zimo shook his head.
“The position of Guest Elder will always be available for you,” said the Pill Saint Elder with a smile.
Zimo waved his hand and left the Central Square together with the Moon-picking Fairy and Miss Jing.
“Where to now?” Miss Jing asked.
“Didn’t you say there is a Bianfu Hall around here?” Zimo said.
“Then let’s go inside and see if there’s any news about the Xuan Yuan clan.”
Miss Jing nodded.
The three walked along the main thoroughfare of Brahma Demon City and saw a secluded mansion on one side of the bustling street.
The mansion was simply constructed of green tiles and blue bricks, but it looked particularly magnificent.
Two guards stood at the entrance.
They were dressed similarly to the constables in the sheriff’s office.
The sleeves were three feet long, the collar was to the right, the entire uniform was a deep navy blue, and they wore crescent-shaped long knives.
They also wore formal official hats on their heads.
On the plaque above the entrance, the three characters for “Bianfu Hall” glimred with an imposing aura.
The guards did not stop them as the three entered.
The grounds of the mansion were vast, extending beyond sight.
All sorts of ancient buildings rose from the ground.
Two words described it: “Vast!”
The guards, dressed in the sa style, could be seen everywhere, most of them carrying scrolls of bamboo books.
So of them were even walking unsteadily due to holding too many scrolls.
The ground beneath their feet was paved with white jade.
“This is the largest intelligence hub of Brahma Demon City; they don’t collect information from other places, only providing news from the small worlds at the Edge of the Sky, End of the Sea,” Miss Jing explained.
“From major events of each day to what you ate today, everything is recorded in great detail.”
“Is it really that impressive?” Zimo chuckled.
“You can go and ask; maybe there really is information about the Xuan Yuan clan,” Jing Yunjing replied.
After walking for a while and asking several passing guards, the three finally arrived in front of a large hall.
They were received by a middle-aged man with a patch of hair on either side of his mouth, dressed in a blue robe.
“Are the three of you here to seek information?” the middle-aged man asked.
Zimo nodded.
He looked around the entire hall, which was arranged quite simply.
A few bookshelves, several wooden tables.
A pot of incense burned on the table next to them, filling the whole hall with fragrance.
“Do you have a Bianfu Command?” the middle-aged man asked.
“What’s it for?” Zimo shook his head and responded.
“You must be newcors,” the middle-aged man said with a smile.
“If you’re only inquiring about ordinary news, then naturally you don’t need a Bianfu Command.
But if it’s so confidential matter, that won’t do.”
“Does news about the Xuan Yuan clan count as confidential?” Zimo asked.
At Zimo’s words, the middle-aged man was taken aback.
Imdiately he smiled quickly and said: “Please co with .”
With a wave of his hand, a small door suddenly split open in the calm wall of the hall.
The small door was dark and mysterious, leading to who knows where.
The group followed the middle-aged man through the small door.
The interior space expanded once again.
It was divided into several small rooms, and the group entered one of them.
“You’re inquiring about the Xuan Yuan family?” The middle-aged man sat down and asked.
“To be precise, it’s the location of the Xuan Yuan family,” Xu Zii replied.
“Who are you?” the middle-aged man asked with a smile.
“Are you here for the Xuan Yuan Sword?”
“Does your Bianfu Hall inquire about the origins of its guests when gathering information?” Xu Zii responded with a laugh.
“There’s no need for that, but when it cos to the Xuan Yuan family, it’s a must,” the middle-aged man said, waving his hand.
“We are just ordinary Loose Cultivators; there’s nothing much to ask about,” Xu Zii said.
“Even if I told you, you might not be able to recognize it.”
“Who told you that the Xuan Yuan family is in the small world at the Edge of the Sky, End of the Sea?” the middle-aged man continued to inquire.
“Don’t you think you’re asking too many questions?” Xu Zii retorted.
“Then I’m afraid I have no information to offer,” the middle-aged man shook his head.
“You never intended to tell us in the first place, right?” Xu Zii stood up and countered.
“You may leave now,” the middle-aged man said indifferently.
“That place is not where you should be heading to.”
“It seems you know sothing,” Xu Zii remarked.
“There have been many like you, lured by the Xuan Yuan Sword, who refused to heed advice.
Later they all beca corpses, and now must be nothing but skeletons.”
“That’s enough,” Xu Zii said with a smile.
“What’s enough?” the middle-aged man asked.
“Your answer. Knowing that the Xuan Yuan family is within the small world is sufficient,” Xu Zii stated.
The middle-aged man waved his hand and did not respond to Xu Zii’s questions anymore.
He stood up, tidying up the items on a nearby table.
It was only after Xu Zii and the others departed that he stopped what he was doing and hurried towards the depths of the room.

“What do you think?” Miss Jing inquired.
“They will likely notify the Xuan Yuan family; we’ve startled the snake by hitting the grass,” Xu Zii said with a smile.
“But it doesn’t matter much; we didn’t plan on sneaking around anyway.”
“Are you saying they have a connection with the Xuan Yuan family?” Miss Jing asked in surprise.
“Trust my intuition,” Xu Zii smiled.
Having left the Bianfu Hall, he looked towards the direction of the small world and said with a smile, “It seems this journey is fraught with complications.”
“Do you want us to accompany you inside?” Miss Jing offered.
“No need,” Xu Zii gestured with his hand.
“If it’s sothing I can’t handle, you’ll be of no use.”
After speaking, Xu Zii laughed again, looking at Miss Jing enigmatically and adding, “I hope you’ll still be here when I co out.”
“Of course, I’ll wait for you,” Miss Jing responded with a laugh.
“That’s the best,” Xu Zii nodded in agreent.
The trio talked as they arrived at the Great Saint Palace, where the Qian Sha Elder had been waiting.
This ti they didn’t enter the room on the right, but instead went directly to the corridor on the left.
There was a large Formation.
Around the Formation, black Demonic Qi and Buddhist Qi twined together, forming two clouds of smoke that spiraled incessantly.
Within the range of the Formation, the ground was engraved with innurable dense runes.
As they approached, these runes emanated a formidable power.
Each rune transford into energy, floating in the void.
There were forty-nine people needed to activate the Formation.
They stood on either side of the Formation, each controlling their own set of runes.
“Open,” soone shouted, and in an instant, the void vibrated, as if heaven and earth were crumbling.
