Chapter 1174: Chapter 1173 Tyrant Shadow Consolidation Complete, Acting
“Say whatever you wish. If you’re unwilling, you can just stay here,” the Abyss Elder responded.
“In the past, I had that malevolent thought accompanying . Now with you all here, I’m not lonely,” he added.
“Let’s go,” Xu Zii said, glancing toward Xie Changliu.
He turned and stepped into the air, flying toward the earlier valley.
Xie Changliu hesitated for a mont but quickly followed.
“Have you thought of a way?”
Xu Zii smiled faintly, “Since we know there’s a way out, it’s as good as done.
It’s far better than a dead end.”
“Then why earlier?” Xie Changliu asked with confusion.
“I’ve still got things to do. Leaving after I finish them won’t be too late,” Xu Zii replied.
In the True Fate World, the fusion of the Xuan Yuan Sword and Tyrant Shadow was now complete.
He hadn’t expected the process to be so swift.
Previously, he had seen that the fusion was only halfway, but unexpectedly, the latter part went increasingly smoothly.
It was as though the two weapons had achieved Principle Fusion, their souls lding together, and ultimately rging into one.
Xu Zii now wanted to see what this new weapon was capable of.
As for the Abyss Elder, he wasn’t worth fearing.
Upon returning to the valley, Jiang Mozi was scanning his surroundings. He hurried forward and asked, “How did it go?”
“Dean, have you ever heard of the Abyss Elder?” Xie Changliu inquired.
“The Abyss Elder?” Jiang Mozi pondered for a mont but then shook his head and replied.
“I’ve never heard of him, but when I was appointed Dean of the Heavenly Saint Academy, I once heard of a terrifying presence beneath the depths of the Cangwu Abyss.
We were always advised to avoid offending it.”
“Then what kind of existence is the Abyss Elder?”
“He can send us out, but it requires devouring half a Divine Soul,” Xie Changliu answered.
“This…” Jiang Mozi hesitated, troubled.
He himself didn’t mind; he was now a re cripple—his Vein Gate shattered, no Divine Soul to speak of.
But the matter involved Xu Zii and Xie Changliu, and he couldn’t make the decision for them.
“Dean, there’s no need to worry. We’ll find our own way,” Xie Changliu reassured.
……
Xu Zii found a relatively quiet spot, sat cross-legged, and returned to the Divine Land.
As soon as he entered, he saw the Dragon Maiden holding the Curved Blade, observing it intently.
“How did it go?” Xu Zii asked.
“Try it out,” the Dragon Maiden tossed the newly fused Tyrant Shadow toward him.
“When the fusion first started, there was great resistance, but once halfway through, the two weapons seed to resonate with each other.
Even without my intervention, they began to fuse on their own.”
Xu Zii gripped the sheath with one hand and the hilt with the other. With a crisp “clang,” the Curved Blade was unsheathed.
Even without utilizing any power, countless strands of Blade Qi surged across the void.
Xu Zii examined the Tyrant Shadow in his hand.
Black demonic qi and purple Blade Qi intertwined, with traces of the Xuan Yuan Sword’s golden hue.
The weapon had an overall blackish-purple hue; the blade seed as desolate as Kugu itself, while the sheath bore incomprehensible runes.
On the hilt, a Demon King’s deity was etched, with the base featuring a human skull cap.
It appeared as though countless souls were entwined around the blade.
The entire weapon emanated an aura of eerie, dark madness.
Yet amidst this darkness, there was also a trace of majestic, kingly presence.
The blade’s edge carried a faint shimr of black light.
“Such a weapon, I have rarely encountered in my life,” the Dragon Maiden murmured.
“Not only did the two weapons perfectly fuse, but the Xuan Yuan Sword’s ability to gather the Wishes of All Beings has also been preserved.”
“Even in its ordinary state, this blade is extraordinarily powerful. With the addition of vow-powered augntation, its potential can be considered boundless.”
Xu Zii lightly waved his hand, and an entity condensed from the blade erged—a demon.
This was the blade soul of Tyrant Shadow.
“Not bad,” he remarked in satisfaction, sheathing the weapon.
“The blade is finished. When will you let leave?” the Dragon Maiden asked.
“You know too much, so not yet,” Xu Zii shook his head.
“But my Divine Land is vast and boundless.
If you spend your life here, it wouldn’t be a bad fate.”
“I’d like to venture across this Divine Land, but will you allow it?” the Dragon Maiden asked with a knowing smirk.
“When the ti is right, naturally,” Xu Zii replied.
The Dragon Maiden didn’t press further. In this place, she had no choice; her fate had already been sealed.
She understood all of this.
After parting ways with the Dragon Maiden, Xu Zii sought out Bai ng and his companions.
Currently, the Myriad Demons Tribe had grown imnsely.
Aside from countless mbers of the Dragon Clan, there were the Ten Great Monster Races of the Yuan Central Continent and various other exotic beasts.
Xu Zii hadn’t let the Myriad Demons Tribe appear in the mortal world.
For now, the tribe resided within the Forbidden Land of the Divine Land, the most perilous region—one where even the strongest of this realm couldn’t reach.
Revealing the Myriad Demons Tribe prematurely would likely incite widespread panic.
After all, the Divine Land had seen relatively brief developnt, while these monster beasts were far too powerful.
But now, the Tyrant Shadow needed an endless supply of vow-powered energy, and Xu Zii had decided to orchestrate a sche.
This required the cooperation of the Myriad Demons Tribe.
With a few whispered instructions, Bai ng nodded lightly.
“Currently, the strongest figures in the Divine Land have only reached the peak of the Divine Vein Realm.
Not even Stepping into Immortality, let alone a Great Emperor.
Chaos alone should suffice to handle this,” Bai ng remarked.
Xu Zii nodded slightly.
………
Within the Divine Land, its ti ratio to the outside Nine Domains was one to ten.
Since its inception, thousands of years had passed, though most inhabitants’ cultivation levels remained relatively weak.
Only the most elite among them had reached the peak of the Divine Vein Realm and were aspiring to beco Great Emperors.
But the difficulty of such aspirations was evident.
The Divine Land was divided into four regions:
The Northern Border, Southern Sea, Western Mountains, and East Ridge.
Within the Western Mountains, perpetual gloom hung overhead. This region, with its myriad Forbidden Lands, was seldom visited yet rich in resources.
At this mont, a small group of adventurers was making their way through the damp and shadowy woods.
“Big brother, look! There’s Blood Ganoderma here!” a sharp-featured, monkey-faced man shouted.
He cautiously plucked a blood-colored ganoderma off the ground.
“Keep your voice down. This is the Deep Gloomy Forest—don’t alert the big ones,” remarked the stern-looking middle-aged man leading the group.
“What’s there to be afraid of?” the monkey-faced man retorted indifferently.
“Those people don’t dare enter, claiming it’s perilous beyond asure. A bunch of fools leaving such pri resources untouched.”
As his words fell, the group suddenly retreated a few steps, their expressions growing tense.
“Did you hear sothing?”
“It sounded like footsteps.”
Soon, the ground began to tremble as Chaos’s massive figure erged from the far side of the forest.
“Dear heavens! What is that creature?”
“Run! Run quickly!”
The group scrambled to flee the forest.
Chaos followed at a deliberate pace, as though toying with them, maintaining pursuit.
