Chapter 1206: Chapter 1205 Seven Gods Academy, Books

“Young Master Xu is a true great man. Compared to him, we feel ashad.”

“Anyway, we have achieved victory.

The monster has been defeated, and the continent is left in ruins. From now on, it will rely on all of you to rebuild.”

“Everyone, may I offer a suggestion?” Qin Haoshi spoke from the side.

“City Lord Qin, please feel free to speak,” Gold King Wei nodded and replied.

“Young Master Xu sacrificed himself for the entire continent. He should not remain so naless.

Let us designate today as Hero Day, to commorate the new life he has given to the continent.”

Qin Haoshi continued: “And this Divine Blade, a treasure from the Ancient Lineage.

Though it is now damaged, its significance is extraordinary. Why don’t we preserve it?

We could honor it in perpetual worship and hope that one day, the Power of Vows might restore it.”

“City Lord Qin speaks wisely; one must not forget his roots,” Mr. Wen quickly chid in.

“Why don’t we also replicate the Divine Blade across the continent, making it a symbol of fortune?

Let everyone enshrine it at ho, both as a token of commoration and to seek peace and safety.”

When the group heard this, they all nodded in agreent.

After all, in their hearts, they were all grateful to Xu Zii; without the monster’s defeat, no one could live peacefully.

………

On a distant mountain in Fla Stone City, Xu Zii and Chaos stood atop the mountain peak.

Looking at the joyful crowds celebrating far away, Xu Zii smiled faintly and said, “Look, this is the sorrowful fate of a hero.

People will rember you, but they will not truly grieve for you.”

“Master does not need their sadness,” Chaos replied imdiately.

“Master’s purpose has been fulfilled, and that is enough.”

Lowering his gaze, Xu Zii stared at Tyrant Shadow in his hand, where an endless stream of Power of Vows was converging without pause.

From now on, the entire Divine Continent would worship the legend of the Divine Blade.

Tyrant Shadow would never lack Power of Vows again.

“One could say the task is mostly completed. However, if they grow accustod to peace and abandon their belief in the Divine Blade, the Power of Vows will naturally vanish,” Xu Zii said.

“But I have laid a groundwork.

Within the Western Mountains lies the Ancient Mountain, concealing countless ferocious beasts.

By that ti, the ergence of the Myriad Demons Tribe will have a perfectly valid explanation.”

“Master is wise,” Chaos responded.

“Were it not for the Power of Vows, I would truly rather not interfere with the developnt of this world,” Xu Zii said, shaking his head.

“Let’s leave it at this; the Divine Continent still has too little ti for growth. Otherwise, how could a Stepping-into-Immortality Monster Beast dominate?”

With that, Xu Zii departed.

………

During the coordinate teleportation to Seven Gods Academy, Xu Zii slowly awoke.

“How long has passed?” Xu Zii asked.

“Young Master Xu has been imrsed in thought for over five days. We’re almost there,” Dean Feng said, smiling.

“Ti flies,” Xu Zii nodded.

He then asked, “Dean Feng, may I inquire about sothing?”

“Young Master Xu, feel free to ask,” Dean Feng nodded in acknowledgnt.

“Dean Feng, have you ever heard of the story of the Ancient God?” Xu Zii asked.

“The Ancient God,” Dean Feng murmured softly.

“I seem to have heard that term sowhere.”

“Where?” Xu Zii asked eagerly.

“I rember now,” Dean Feng suddenly widened his eyes and nodded earnestly.

“Old Yang from the academy once ntioned it to .”

“Old Yang?” Xu Zii frowned slightly.

“He’s an old headmaster from Seven Gods Academy. It’s said he lived a long life—he was rather eccentric,” Dean Feng replied.

“Is he still at the academy?” Xu Zii questioned.

“He left a long ti ago. When I was young, he told stories that included ntions of the Ancient God.

But I’ve long since forgotten the details of those stories,” Dean Feng said.

“That’s a pity,” Xu Zii responded after a mont of silence.

“I think he left behind a book of miscellaneous tales. I’ll retrieve it for you later; it might be helpful,” Dean Feng said.

Xu Zii nodded slightly.

As the group spoke, the spatial coordinates around them began to shift.

The space trembled more and more intensely.

Everyone’s bodies started swaying along with the disturbances.

“Steady yourselves; we’re arriving,” Dean Feng said.

Standing at the forefront, he waved his hands, tearing open the void. A powerful suction pulled everyone inside.

As their vision brightened, they found themselves on a mountaintop.

Gentle breezes surrounded them as all ten-odd individuals steadied their footing on the peak.

Xu Zii gazed ahead; the Boundless Sea peak resembled the mountains housing Nine Ghosts Academy.

Shrouded in mist and rich with Immortal Qi.

Like a divine grove, dozens of strange peaks rose around them.

Yet, unfortunately, all the plants here were ghostly trees—or rather, only plants that did not rely on sunlight could survive.

“Boundless Sea,” Xu Zii murmured softly.

Dean Feng pointed to the tallest of the peaks among the thousand layers. “That is the main academy. Young Master Xu, follow upward.”

The group ascended through the air, as if stepping upon floating immortality mists.

Cloaks fluttered in the wind, and within monts, their figures reached the highest peak of the main academy.

“Changhe, disperse the others,” Dean Feng said with a wave, dismissing the remaining white-robed figures.

Standing before the main academy, Xu Zii gazed into the distance.

This place stood in stark contrast with Nine Ghosts Academy.

That academy was enveloped in chaotic ghostly mist, emphasizing its eerie unpredictability.

In contrast, Seven Gods Academy embodied Divine Might, its majesty awe-inspiring.

The expansive courtyard ahead contained towering crimson Pillars of Heaven stretching toward the skies.

Their presence commanded undeniable authority.

On the roofs of countless buildings stood statues of Gods, exuding overwhelming power and watching all who laid eyes upon them.

Row upon row of city walls resembled massive screens, adorned with the grand scenes of gods banding together in strength.

Beyond the courtyard lay rows of divinely radiant trees.

They seed to possess consciousness, waving their branches with intent.

“Let’s head directly to the book academy,” Dean Feng suggested.

“Old Yang’s notes remain in the academy library.”

Xu Zii nodded.

The two passed through the gates, where the landscape widened and the pathways diverged.

Stepping into the shaded avenue on the left, they approached an ancient courtyard gate.

Near the gateway stood two statues of Saints—their robes scholarly, each holding a scroll in reverence.

Crossing the threshold, paths filled with scholar-robed students stretched ahead.

Upon seeing Dean Feng, they all greeted him courteously.

Ahead, within the Scripture Pavilion, neatly arranged rows of thousands of blue volus awaited.

Dean Feng ascended to the second floor, inserting his Jade Token into an opening at the staircase. All passages beca accessible.

The pair climbed to the ninth and highest level.

There, Dean Feng retrieved a book box from a long-sealed cabinet.

Dust covered its surface.

“Had you not brought this up, I’d have forgotten all about this book,” Dean Feng admitted.

“I’ve read it before, but it’s rely a book of miscellany with no remarkable points.”

Handing the book to Xu Zii, he added, “You can take your ti with it; I’ll leave you to it.”
