Chapter 1263: Chapter 1262: Ghost Tribe Army, Ergence of Rihua City

“What connection does it have with the death flower?” Qianhe asked again.

“It is rumored that it was once the City of Life, where life vanished overnight, leaving the death flower in full bloom.

Thus, we suspect it is the origin of the death flower,” the leading man said again.

“But all this is just speculation. Until we reach Rihua City, nothing can be certain.”

“How co no one noticed this before?” Qianhe scoffed.

“It used to be a deserted city. So did visit it specifically, but they found nothing,” the leading man shook his head and said.

“This ti, it was the Ghost Tribe that suddenly sent the news. Otherwise, how would we have thought of it?”

“Kid, if you have any intel, spill it all. This way, your chances of survival might be higher,” soone looked at Xu Zii and reminded.

After the group had escorted Xu Zii for a while, darkness gradually enveloped the sky.

Because of Ghost God Realm’s peculiar nights, no one dared to travel further.

Everyone carried a tent with them.

Once the tents were set up, everyone hid inside, leaving only Xu Zii outside.

“What about him?” soone asked.

“Leave him outside. Whether he survives or not is up to fate,” soone suggested.

None were willing to share a tent with Xu Zii; the tents were already small, and two would make it even more cramped.

“He’ll be in mine,” the leading man calmly stated.

Looking up, the sky was already swept by a dark wind.

The divine power within them began to boil.

“Quick, get in the tent,” the leading man said, then entered first.

Inside the not-so-spacious tent, the two sat face to face. The leading man was ditating, and Xu Zii said nothing more.

“You’ve been very calm this whole way,” finally, the leading man spoke first.

“The calr you are, the more restless I feel.”

“So?” Xu Zii retaliated.

“What do you all have planned?” the leading man asked.

“As long as you tell , I’ll let you go imdiately.”

“I’m just a nobody,” Xu Zii shook his head, refusing.

His calmness was because these people couldn’t harm him.

“Though I am curious about sothing,” Xu Zii also inquired.

“What is it?”

“What do you want so many divine servants for?” Xu Zii asked.

“Why hang around Ghost God Realm when the Divine Race has the Kun Ruins Domain?”

“And your Ghost Tribe is no different, leaving Illusionary Sea to be here,” the leading man counter-asked.

“I’m curious about that too,” Xu Zii stated.

“It seems your status is indeed low in the Ghost Tribe, not knowing even this,” the leading man laughed.

“Let tell you a story.”

“I’d like to hear the details,” Xu Zii nodded.

“A long, long ti ago, it is said in the Primordial Era, the Nine Domains underwent a great reshuffling.”

“A great reshuffling?” Xu Zii frowned slightly.

“Exactly, during that reshuffling, the other eight domains submitted.

Only the Ghost God Realm persistently resisted against so existence,” the leading man said.

“Eventually, that existence descended, and the Ghost God Realm was almost destroyed, turning the Nine Domains into Eight.

In the end, it was due to pleas from our Divine Race and your Ghost Tribe that the disaster was avoided.”

Perhaps the night was uneventful, or maybe these secrets weren’t all that crucial, as the leading man openly chatted with Xu Zii.

“The rulers of the Ghost God Realm were all deposed, and since then, it has been jointly governed by the Gods and Ghosts Clans,” the leading man recounted.

“This governance continued until the ancient tis, when an accident occurred.”

“What kind of accident?” Xu Zii asked curiously.

“A revival of an old existence, seizing the core of power,” the leading man laughed.

“I cannot disclose specifics, but I can tell you plainly, whether divine servants or dead souls,

it’s all in preparation for a future epic battle.”

“The more you say, the more confused I beco; what kind of epic battle?” Xu Zii laughed.

“You will understand, in not too long, if you are still alive by then,” the leading man smiled.

The night passed just like that.

Early next morning, the group resud their journey northwest, moving swiftly without any stops.

Xu Zii also noticed that as they traveled, they left marks on the paths they crossed.

By noon the next day, the group finally arrived at the so-called Rihua City.

However, when Xu Zii looked up, all around was barren land with only dry yellow sand flying everywhere, without any sign of a city.

Even the other mbers of the Divine Race seed puzzled.

“Where is Rihua City?” soone asked.

“Wait,” the leading man appeared calm, saying.

“Wait for what?”

“When the yellow sand aligns with the horizon, the city will appear,” the leading man replied.

Although everyone was clueless, they continued waiting.

anwhile, a few people scouted around but discovered nothing unusual.

As they waited, the sky suddenly darkened, with looming heavy clouds erging from the north.

Bit by bit, they started to spread across the sky here.

“That is…,” soone from the Divine Race worriedly gazed at the northern sky, saying.

“The Ghost Tribe’s great army has arrived.”

“Their speed is quite fast,” the leading man said solemnly.

He led everyone to hide, all of them silently watching the firmant.

The phrase “ten thousand Ghost Soldiers and Ghost Generals” was hardly an overstatent, as the oppressive Ghost Tribe swept in with a fierce dark wind, taking over the sky.

Thousands of different Ghost Tribes, fierce and nacing, completely surrounding the area.

The people of the Divine Race were so frightened that they didn’t even dare to breathe.

Leading them was Sixteen Ghost Kings, with Tian Qing and the Ghost King of Youdu among them.

The vast number of Ghost Soldiers and Ghost Generals, along with thousands of different Ghost Spirits, brought sudden liveliness to the forrly silent desert.

“Look, there’s a change in the desert.”

“Rihua City is about to appear,” a few people from the Divine Race whispered.

All eyes were fixed on that focal point.

Suddenly, from the barren desert, a seed broke through the ground.

The seed took root and sprouted, growing into a towering tree at a speed visible to the flesh eye.

The tree’s ends were out of sight, its verdant top touching the firmant, with a trunk millions of ters wide.

Each branch extended endlessly.

A single leaf was as vast as an ocean, perplexing and astonishing all.

And this giant tree was evidently the core of Rihua City.

Yet the tree now appeared desolate, with remnants faintly reflecting its past grandeur.

Ultimately, however, it had fallen into decline.

The city collapsed, and the giant tree withered, presenting a scene of desolation.

“Go in,” Sixteen Ghost Kings commanded, and the Ghost Tribe’s army grandly began to enter along the giant tree.
