Chapter 1285: Chapter 1284 Killing Gongsun Muyu
“Brother-in-law, you…” Shu Long was no longer oblivious and noted the unusual.
“What’s the matter?” Xu Zii asked.
“Senior, I had eyes but couldn’t see,” Shu Long dared not call him brother-in-law anymore.
“Saying that makes it sound distant,” Xu Zii comnted.
“Though you’re weak, I find you pleasing. Otherwise, I wouldn’t protect you.”
“You’re right, brother-in-law,” Shu Long hurriedly replied.
Xu Zii glanced back at Wu Zhaodi, noticing her surprise quickly pass.
Then she calmly asked, “I knew you weren’t ordinary.”
Xu Zii continued to smile silently.
“Are you also eying this inheritance due to your strength?”
“You wouldn’t understand,” Xu Zii shook his head.
“What should we do now?” Shu Long also followed up.
“Following the inheritance is too cumberso; it’s better to find the Ancestral Dragon ourselves,” Xu Zii said.
“How do we find it?” Shu Long asked again.
Not understanding much, he just followed behind Xu Zii.
Xu Zii took out the Traceless and then held the Monster Mirror.
The Monster Mirror flipped open slowly.
As it flipped, it seed to encapsulate the destiny of the Monster Race, condensed within this book.
The Traceless was spinning; this ti, it didn’t spin for long before stopping.
Strands of dragon qi drifted over from an unknown origin.
“Follow the dragon qi,” Xu Zii instructed.
He stood on the waves, and thanks to the waves being immobilized, no one could fall off.
Following the dragon qi, they arrived at the edge of the coast.
The dragon qi still headed north, beyond the white sea lay the Ancestral Dragon’s resting place.
The ground was overgrown with weeds, and countless white bones scattered around.
Ahead lay a massive Ancestral Dragon skeleton, towering a thousand ters tall and stretching ten thousand ters long.
It was incredibly awe-inspiring.
Xu Zii and his group were about to step inside when a disturbance occurred behind them; Gongsun Muyu approached.
“She followed us here?” Shu Long asked.
“Probably not,” Xu Zii shook his head.
Though they didn’t take the sa path, the final destination should be this place.
It seems the Ancestral Dragon truly lies here.
Gongsun Muyu looked up and saw Xu Zii’s group; she was slightly surprised.
Being the first to arrive, she hadn’t expected to lag behind them.
She had taken notice when Xu Zii’s group visited the Drunken Beauty Peony Garden but didn’t pay much attention.
Encountering them again, Gongsun Muyu grew more cautious.
“Second son of the Shu Family.”
“Greetings, Garden Owner,” Shu Long politely greeted.
“Why don’t we go together?” Gongsun Muyu smiled.
“Perhaps the Ancestral Dragon left sothing behind.”
“No need, you’re too weak, it’s not necessary,” Xu Zii rejected outright.
“Then let’s each take what we need,” Gongsun Muyu chuckled.
In the next mont, she suddenly attacked Xu Zii.
Her right hand transford into a sword, her Sword Intent soared, directly cleaving the sky, descending upon Xu Zii’s group.
“Tangible Sword and Intangible Sword,” Xu Zii chuckled and comnted.
“Interesting.”
Upon hearing this, Gongsun Muyu’s eyes narrowed, hastily retreating.
But it was clearly too late; Xu Zii grasped her sword arm, which had transford.
With a firm pull, Xu Zii positioned Gongsun Muyu behind him.
Originally, there was nothing behind Xu Zii, but just with his block.
A “puff” sounded, an intangible Sword Intent slashed onto Gongsun Muyu.
Blood gushed out as Xu Zii tossed Gongsun Muyu aside.
Her attack looked mysterious, but in reality, it was worthless.
Using the sword in her hand as a decoy, the true assassination lay in the Intangible Sword Intent.
Back at the Shu Mansion, that maid was wounded without seeing a sword drawn.
Xu Zii saw through it imdiately; it wasn’t that the Sword Intent was invisible, but it was itself intangible.
“You have impressive skill,” Gongsun Muyu stood up, eyes focusing.
“Don’t block my path,” Xu Zii stated.
Gongsun Muyu ignored him, her blue long skirt swayed with the wind, her whole body spun lightly with the breeze.
As her skirt whirled, her silhouette blurred.
She eventually transford into a blooming peony.
“I wondered why you loved peonies so; turns out you’re a Peony Flower Demon,” Xu Zii laughed.
“What’s a monster? I’m a Peony Fairy,” Gongsun Muyu declared.
“Just a na,” Xu Zii shook his head.
“Flower fragrance,” Gongsun Muyu murmured as the blooming peony emitted a pink aura.
“Peonies are said to have national beauty, but this peony is exceptionally enchanting,” Wu Zhaodi remarked.
She waved her right hand, and a surge of Spiritual Energy transford into a Tianluan.
The Tianluan flew skyward, shrieking in the void.
“A pure Tianluan,” Gongsun Muyu, as the peony, expressed surprise.
“You’re a true disciple of Tianluan Celestial Palace.”
“Cut the chatter,” Wu Zhaodi dismissed, commanding the Tianluan to swoop down, talons poised to strike.
The Tianluan’s talons slashed through the peony, only for the peony to suddenly close up.
Swallowing the Tianluan toward its core.
The Tianluan struggled, but continued to be gradually devoured.
“Young girl, your Cultivation Technique is powerful, but you can’t harness it,” Gongsun Muyu comnted.
Xu Zii glanced at the peony but didn’t draw the Tyrant Shadow, instead unleashing intangible Blade Qi.
He raised his right hand, directing thousands of Blade Qi at once.
The peony refused to be outdone, opening its petals wide, continuously consuming the Blade Qi.
“Let’s see how much you can swallow,” Xu Zii flicked his fingers, and the Spiritual Energy in the realm converged fiercely.
Endless Blade Qi erupted.
The peony’s devouring speed couldn’t keep up with the generation of Blade Intent; gradually, the petals began to rupture.
“You can’t kill ,” perhaps sensing death, Gongsun Muyu started to shout.
“I won’t vie for the inheritance, let go.”
“Don’t be afraid, death is but a mont.
The simplest thing in this world is dying,” Xu Zii smirked.
“Once you decide to act, you’ve already chosen your fate.”
As his words fell, infinite Blade Intent descended.
Everything was utterly annihilated.
The peony shattered completely, disappearing without a trace.
“Let’s go,” Xu Zii looked at the astonished Wu Zhaodi and her companion, then serenely said.
“What’s your true cultivation level?” Wu Zhaodi asked.
