And at the innermost part were three great halls.
The two halls on either side had collapsed, only the middle one stood solemnly with a pure gold gilded body.
As Xu Zii passed by the lotus pond, he saw the water bubbling with “bubbles.”
Under the bubbles, countless golden fish were surging.
In an instant, a series of “dragon roars” resounded.
These golden fish transford into thousands of Divine Dragons, soaring into the sky, and reverberating within the temple.
“Who dares intrude on my Heaven Inheriting Temple?” The Golden Dragon spoke coldly.
With Demonic Qi swirling around him, Xu Zii calmly said, “Obsessions should be dispelled.”
He could see that these were not true Golden Dragons, but obsessions left from their lifetis.
“Nonsense, those who intrude on Heaven Inheriting Temple shall die,” the Golden Dragon said solemnly.
It then charged Xu Zii with irresistible dragon might.
But Xu Zii paid it no heed, as this Golden Dragon attacked him, it wounded not his body but his Divine Soul.
Unfortunately, he had the Nine Regions Grand Body to protect him, so why would he fear?
Watching the Golden Dragons disappear one by one, Xu Zii continued to walk forward.
The once raging pond had dried up at so unknown ti.
Upon reaching the great hall’s entrance, he discovered that the door was the Demon Gate.
A gate ford by the condensation of endless Demonic Qi.

Inside the great hall, there was a high platform with offerings of fruits and an incense burner.

“Just think as you wish,” the figure laughed.
“The previous Demon Lord?” Xu Zii asked.
“To be honest, I don’t like that title; there is only one Demon Lord, no distinction of previous or current,” the figure shook his head and said.
“I’m called Chu Tian’ang, and you are Xu Zii; that will suffice.”
“Shouldn’t communication be more honest? I can’t even see you clearly,” Xu Zii said straightforwardly.
“The Demonic Skills have no appearance; whatever you think it is, that’s what it is,” Chu Tian’ang replied with a shake of his head.
“You waited here specifically for ; what is your purpose?” Xu Zii asked.
“If it were within the Nine Domains, I fear I couldn’t wait for you; I would be discovered by this world’s Heavenly Dao and thus be destroyed.
So I found a continent from a broken world to hide in,” Chu Tian’ang said.
“I’m here to pass on the inheritance to you; your arrival in the Demon Realm proves you have passed the test.
You should rightfully receive the inheritance of the Demon Lord.”
“What kind of inheritance?” Xu Zii asked.
“A nourishing of strength that will give you the ability to preserve yourself on your future path,” Chu Tian’ang replied.
“However, before the inheritance, I have a few things to remind you about.”
“Go ahead,” Xu Zii nodded.
