Capítulo 1864: Chapter 1863: Jiang Chenyu, Yasheng

“Let say this first, don’t cause any trouble at Miaoyu Pavilion,” Wang Da reminded them.

“Only high-ranking officials and nobility co here, we can’t afford to offend them.”

“Don’t worry, we’re just here to listen to so songs and watch beauties dance,” the Wronged Soul assured confidently.

Xu Zii glanced at him.

He asked, “Is your listening to songs and dancing legitimate?”

“Who goes to a proper place,” the Wronged Soul snickered.

The three of them walked in, Lu Yueqing didn’t co to such a place, she went shopping in Chang’an.

Ever since Noble Consort Lu tried to kill her, Lu Yueqing lost interest in everything.

She wanted to settle in Chang’an and had no desire to go back to her old village.

These past few days, Lu Yueqing seed to finally understand her mother.

Chang’an is truly wonderful.

Once people arrive, they’re reluctant to leave.

It’s prosperous, with everything one could need.

Given the opportunity to experience all the honors of this world from a high status, who would want to return to a small village?

Not even ntioning Noble Consort Lu, Lu Yueqing herself, after just a few days in Chang’an, didn’t want to leave either.

She wanted to reside in Chang’an, preferably run a small business and be self-sufficient.

So during this ti, Lu Yueqing observed what businesses did well in Chang’an.

Xu Zii didn’t mind either.

Before leaving, he gave her so money as starting capital, which was easy for him but could change soone’s life.

……

Walking into the Immortal Area,

It was akin to a concert.

At the front was a raised platform, colorful and eye-catching with various jade stone arrangents.

Below were hundreds of seats.

When they entered, the seats were already about seventy to eighty percent full.

On the stage, a Jade Tower materialized.

Immortal Qi enveloped beneath, and a group of won in colorful attire danced gracefully.

Above the Jade Tower, a woman played accompanint music.

The air was filled with various enchanting fragrances.

The won on the stage were of unmatched beauty, each deserving of the term “peerless” no matter where they stood.

Setting that aside, what surprised Xu Zii was the transformative technique on stage.

The Jade Tower erged from the ground, with various flowers and trees competing in beauty.

These weren’t real, but the effects created were exceptional.

“Young Master Xu, are you interested in this?” Wang Da asked.

“This transformative technique should be related to formation,” Xu Zii replied.

“Correct, these formations aren’t offensive but can change endlessly based on people’s needs,” Wang Da laughed.

“It’s quite an amusing story.

There was once an Array Master nad Liu Chuan.

He was said to be a romantic scholar, who later t a Singing Courtesan.

They fell head over heels for each other, so he used his knowledge of formations to help her compete for the title of Oiran.”

“And that’s how these formations that transform everything erged.”

“Even if done to woo won, there’s sothing interesting about the formation,” Xu Zii said.

At first glance, the formation seems non-aggressive and rather ornantal.

But at a deeper level, this formation might have significant uses.

What if the transford things could beco real?

“Today, we’re in luck,” Wang Da pointed at the won on stage.

He said, “Two of the three top Oiran of Miaoyu Pavilion are performing today.”

“Who are they?” The Wronged Soul asked with interest.

“The one singing atop the Jade Tower is nad Zhe Weier, and the lead dancer is Jiang Baiguo,” Wang Da pointed out.

“One is a perfect dancer, the other a flawless singer.”

“How much do these two cost?” the Wronged Soul asked lecherously.

“Money ans little to them,” Wang Da shook his head.

“For regular Singing Courtesans, money might work.

But for these top ones, they sell art, not themselves; even if you wish to do sothing, they’re seeking good matches.

That’s not sothing you should think about.”

The Wronged Soul shook his head regretfully.

The performance was calm and without surprises, with the Singing Courtesans on stage being quite skilled, even Xu Zii was engaged.

Halfway through, the Wronged Soul left.

The lustful part of him couldn’t be contained any longer, likely off to find so release.

After the performance, staying to watch required paynt, Xu Zii intended to leave.

But suddenly soone sat beside him and patted his shoulder.

He turned to see a stranger.

The person wore a scarlet robe, with auburn hair draped over her shoulders.

She carried a scent of roses.

This was a woman, elegant and dignified, yet fiery and seductive.

Wearing bold red lipstick, with high cheekbones and a touch of Western Region flair.

Her eyes were filled with passion, making anyone she looked at feel parched.

Seeing this woman, Wang Da’s expression changed.

He quickly greeted, “Greetings, Yasheng.”

“Go on,” the woman waved her hand, unconcerned.

“His Majesty asked to entertain Young Master Xu,” Wang Da said with so difficulty.

The woman, eting him, said nothing, but directly asked him to leave, her intent clear to find Xu Zii.

He was in a difficult position.

If he left, how would he explain to Xu Kui, but if he stayed, her identity was undeniable.

“Why, can’t I command you anymore,” the woman asked.

“No, I wouldn’t dare,” Wang Da stood up, giving Xu Zii a deep look before leaving.

“May I know your na?” The woman seed careless, fixating on Xu Zii, smiled.

“Shouldn’t you introduce yourself before asking others?” Xu Zii said.

“I’m Jiang Chenyu, they call Yasheng. It seems you don’t know ?” the woman asked.

“Why should I know you?” Xu Zii retorted.

“You’re from the Monster Race,” Jiang Chenyu asked.

“I’m here representing the Heavenly Court.”

“So what?” Xu Zii asked.

“Leave Chang’an, and I can guarantee your life,” Jiang Chenyu said.

Hearing such bold words, Xu Zii squinted slightly.

He said, “Did the Heavenly Court send you?”

“No, no,” Jiang Chenyu shook her head.

“I don’t take orders from the Heavenly Court or the Great Qin.

I only represent the human race.”

“You are incredibly cunning; the Monster Race surrenders, wanting the human race to turn on each other, gaining from the chaos.”

“This isn’t sothing you should discuss with ,” Xu Zii waved his hand.

“Whether to cooperate or not is King Qin’s decision.”

“You truly refuse to leave?” Jiang Chenyu stared at Xu Zii.

“What, planning to kill ?” Xu Zii chuckled.

“I won’t kill you; I just want to protect you,” Jiang Chenyu said.

“If you don’t leave, others will co to kill you.”

“Then I’ll wait for them to co,” Xu Zii nonchalantly replied.

As soon as he finished speaking, a large army suddenly surrounded Miaoyu Pavilion from outside.
