When I moved my hand off her head, Olivia-san looked a bit lonely. Coupled with her petite build, which gave off a somewhat puppy-like vibe, I couldn’t help but pat her on the head, surprising her. Still, it seemed to help ease the tension I sensed from her, so I think it worked.

As Olivia-san pointed out, Kaori-san’s diner didn’t have large windows. There were ventilation windows, but none that offered the kind of scenic view this restaurant had.
Well, many Japanese-style diners are designed like that, so I never really thought about it. But I could understand why Olivia-san was curious.

While I’ve made adjustments here and there to make it feel more like local diners, I really like the Japanese vibe. And while I’m not entirely sure, izakayas often have small, high-positioned ventilation windows to prevent drunk customers from breaking the windows or climbing out of them. I think that’s why mine is designed that way too.]

As we chatted about such things, the fruit juice we had ordered arrived. Large wine glass-like containers were placed in front of us. Drinking from these fancy glasses felt quite stylish.
While I was thinking about that, the server spoke to Olivia-san.

Oops, things seem to be taking an odd turn…… This place is probably a famous restaurant, but it’s not like it’s run by a noble or anything. It’s understandable that they don’t know who I am, and Olivia-san doesn’t seem to hold it against them either.
That said, if the Founder suddenly introduces me as someone above her, it’s no wonder they’d look at me with a look that seemed to ask "Just who is this guy?", filled with dread.
But explaining everything from scratch would take too much time, so I just smiled awkwardly and ended up being the one to choose the juice.
I checked with Olivia-san and Kaori-san, and based on my preferences, I went with a drink that primarily used citrus fruits.
While I liked the juice made with ripple, it felt a bit too sweet to pair with a meal. So I opted for a refreshing citrus fruit mix that tasted somewhat like orange juice.

For that, I’m really grateful to Alice for managing the flow of information so well. Seriously, if every town I went to ended up like Rigforeshia, I’d have to wear the glasses Shiro-san gave me all the time, and that would be a hassle.
Rigforeshia is, of course, an extreme example…… but still, I really don’t want to bee any more famous than I already am.
