As usual, I received the letters that Anima had neatly sorted and brought to me, and among them was one from Eris-san. It was in a rather sturdy, high-quality envelope, and when I opened it, it turned out to be an invitation.
Ahhh, this must be for the tea party she mentioned back when we first met, when I told her I’d like to attend one someday, and she said she’d arrange an opportunity for me eventually……
Along with the invitation, there was a letter containing details about the tea party, so I read through it…… Errr, the location is the Hamilton Marquisdom’s villa, and it seems the tea party will mainly consist of young nobles who are not heads of their households or high-ranking officials.
Her leaving out the heads of the noble families, I guess this is her being considerate toward me? Eris-san is amazing when it es to that sort of thoughtfulness, so I imagine she’s also made various other arrangements so that a tea party novice like me won’t have any trouble.
While reading, I came across a line that caught my attention.
"Additionally, only one attendant is permitted, and for this tea party, nobles will not be recognized as attendants. Please bring a non-noble attendant."
Attendant? Do noble tea parties normally allow people to bring attendants? Ahh, maybe it’s for cases where someone brings their betrothed. Nobles being engaged to someone isn’t unusual, and the hosting noble might not necessarily know both parties, so that kind of consideration could be necessary.
Since it says nobles are excluded this time, I guess normally nobles are allowed……
Or maybe this is another kindness on Eris-san’s part, since I’m inexperienced with tea parties and won’t know anyone besides her, she might have made it so I can bring along someone I’m familiar with.
In that case, maybe I should also bring someone along…… it would also feel safer…… But nobles are out huh…… If nobles were allowed, the best choice would be to have Lilia-san e with me but……
Lilia-san is well-versed in noble tea parties, and she said she got to know Eris-san at the previous party, so she’d be ideal…… but with nobles banned, that’s not an option.

It seemed that Kuro had met Eris-san at the party and at least knew her by face. In that case, from Eris-san’s perspective, bringing Kuro, someone she was already acquainted with, would be easier than having to deal with a plete stranger, and for me, having Kuro along would be reassuring as well.

[Hmmm…… not really. I do get invited to parties sometimes, but tea parties? Almost never. The only ones I’ve attended would be the ones Lillywood hosts after the Harmonic Symphony. I do have tea with Chris sometimes, but I wouldn't really call that a tea party.]

[Yeah. But I’m fairly familiar with a lot of nobles because of business connections, so there might be a few people I know there. Well, either way, if I’m with Kaito-kun, it’ll be fun, so I’m already looking forward to it.]
I smiled back at Kuro, who was grinning cheerfully. In the end, having my girlfriend Kuro attend the tea party with me was something I truly appreciated, and I had a feeling we’d enjoy ourselves, so I was already starting to look forward to it.
