He had almost zero interaction with won of his age and therefore had no idea how to help her choose her clothes.

Not minding Qin Yao’s state, Yi Chen looked at Feng Min the next mont and asked, "What do you think, Miss Min?"
"I would love to!" Feng Min answered with a beaming smile when she heard Yi Chen’s words. A great sense of gratefulness rose in her heart towards Yi Chen thanks to this.
"Then it’s decided," Yi Chen clapped his hands cheerfully and pushed Qin Yao towards Feng Min the next mont.
"See you in a while then, Brother Qin," He waved his hand towards him.
"But Brother Ch-" Before Qin Yao could say anything, a strong scent of lilies invaded his nostrils, and he couldn’t help but montarily stop breathing in surprise.
Feng Min had all of a sudden wrapped her hand around his arm and asked with a cheerful smile, "Let’s go then, Brother Qin, shall we?"
Now that Yi Chen had created an opportunity for her, she had no intention of letting it go.
"Y-yes..." Qin Yao answered in a nervous wreck.
This was his first ti being in such close proximity with soone of the opposite gender, and he could only manage to reply with a single word.
Feng Min’s expression brightened substantially the mont she heard Qin Yao’s reply.
"Great! After I’m done with choosing mine, I’ll help Brother Qin in choosing a set of robes as well," she said excitedly while pulling him.
"But I don’t need..." Qin Yao’s voice of protest was barely audible and easily got subrged under hers as they went towards woman’s clothing section.
Glancing towards Qin Yao’s back, Yi Chen thought to himself, ’Don’t think negatively of , Brother Qin, as your brother, I felt obligated to help you...’
Just then, Yi Chen noticed soone standing next to him through his peripheral vision.
’Who?!’
He jerked his neck to his right, the very next mont, only to see a beautiful woman who was dressed in a yellow hanfu standing next to him.
Her brown gemlike eyes were looking curiously at him as a subtle smile was present on her lips.
"Thank you for helping her out," the woman said as her smile widened.
"Uhm...is the lady talking about Miss Min?" Yi Chen asked with a frown.
"Yes, I’m her Elder Sister, Feng Ning. It’s nice to et you, Brother Chen," Feng Ning answered with a smile.
It beca clear to Yi Chen that she had heard their earlier conversation.
"So, it’s Miss Ning," Yi Chen greeted her the next mont with a subtle bow.
"Yes," Feng Ning also greeted back and using this opportunity, Yi Chen finally glanced at her status panel properly.
