’So this is the Celestial Silk Tailors,’ Yi Chen thought to himself as his eyes fell on the cream coloured building in front of him.
The main marketplace was a very crowded place lined with several shops.
However, in that congested place, so buildings stood out and had much more space than the usual ones, symbolising their exceptional status.
The building of Celestial Silk Tailors was one of them.
Around the building’s periter, bushes were arranged as a boundary, and within this boundary, several jade-carved statues with artistic designs were present.
As Yi Chen entered through the main entrance along with Zhou i and her Lady Guard, the two Qi Absorption guards at the entrance bowed at them and allowed them passage.
’They really made good use of the glasses,’ Yi Chen said as his eyes fell on the store, which had more glass panes than solid walls.
As a result, before he had even entered the building, he was able to see the magnificently made clothes that were worn on the mannequins.
"Pretty good, aren’t they?" Zhou i asked with a smile when she saw the direction of Yi Chen’s gaze.
"Indeed." Yi Chen nodded.
In all the designs, decorative items like coloured stones, sequins and appliques were kept to a minimum.
However, even then, one couldn’t help but look at them a second ti, which indicated that it was truly well designed.
When Yi Chen entered the store, he found it to be quite empty. There were only a few neatly dressed staff mbers present.
"Why is this place so empty?" Yi Chen asked.

"Please do," Zhou i nodded and waited there along with Yi Chen.
"All the clothes which you see here are all personally designed by the owner," Zhou i inford.
"All of them?" Yi Chen couldn’t help but raise his brows when he heard her, as his eyes took in the vast hall that was filled with hundreds of clothes.
"Indeed," Zhou i nodded and continued, "Not only that, if you look closely, you’ll realise that not one of them has the sa design.
She has always stuck with her principle of never repeating a design ever, even after repeated pleadings from many custors."
’That’s really impressive...’ Yi Chen couldn’t help but think as he glanced at the hundreds of clothes in the hall.
It was at that mont that his attention was caught by the sound of footsteps, and he turned around to see a woman approaching them.
"Miss i! It’s been so long since you’ve been here. I thought you had forgotten about my store," A woman in her thirties exclaid with enthusiasm when her gaze t with Zhou i’s.
At the sa ti, Yi Chen’s eyes fell on her status panel.

"Sister Wan, you jest! I may forget to eat one day, but I would never forget about your store," Zhou i greeted her with a smile and said while gesturing towards Yi Chen.
"I even bought you a new custor today. He’s my friend, Brother Chen."
’Miss i’s friend?’ A little surprised by what she had just heard, she turned towards Yi Chen the very next mont.
Oversized robe, dull choice of colours, and almost no design imprints on it. These were the first set of things she noticed when her eyes fell upon him, thus affecting her first impression of Yi Chen.
’Well...there’s nothing really special about him.’ Sheng Wan thought curiously, ’Just how co he managed to beco friends with Zhou i? Is he even close with her family?’
However, Sheng Wan didn’t let her thoughts appear on her face and greeted Yi Chen with a professional smile, "Greetings, Young Master Chen."
"Greetings, Owner Wan," Yi Chen greeted back.
The other party was a First Level Qi Absorption Stage cultivator, so he made sure to bow appropriately.

It was Zhou i who answered this question.
"It’s my sister’s birthday banquet the day after tomorrow," Zhou i answered and asked with a frown, "I believe an invitation was sent to Sister Wan as well. Did you not receive it?"
"The day after tomorrow?" A thoughtful frown appeared on Sheng Wan’s face when she heard this.
The next mont, her eyebrows raised in realisation and she said, "Ah! I rember now. It arrived a week ago, and I was also initially planning to attend it. "You can trust on this, Sister Wan," Zhou i nodded in response. She had no intention of getting in the bad light of the imperial family.
anwhile, unlike the Lady Guard, who was able to hear everything because of her high cultivation level, Yi Chen was unable to hear anything and currently had an expression of confusion plastered on his face.

Finally losing his patience, he asked in an attempt to pull back their attention.

"I got a few sample designs which I’m currently working on, which might interest Young Master Chen. Let bring them here," Sheng Wan said and asked one of the staff to bring those samples.
"Since it’s a function where many important guests would be present it’s best that Young Master gets one tailor-made for a perfect fit rather than buying one of the already completed ones. You’re fine with it, right?"
"I don’t mind, but won’t it take a while to get it ready? The birthday banquet is the day after tomorrow," Yi Chen asked with a worried expression.
"That’s more than enough ti for my expert tailors," Sheng Wan stated confidently.
"Indeed. You can trust Sister Wan on that." Zhou i nodded from the side when she heard this.
Soon, more than a hundred samples which Sheng Wan was working on were brought, and Yi Chen began checking them out.
’Wow, all of them look amazing,’ Yi Chen thought to himself as he started going through the robes.
Zhou i was right beside him and was also helping him sift through them.
"Brother Chen, how about this light green one? I think it would suit you well," She suggested while showing him one.
"It’s good, but I’m looking for sothing different," Yi Chen said after a glance as he checked the other samples.
"Ah, this one’s pretty neat," He finally muttered while feeling the soft fabric of the white robe in his hand. It had blue borders on its edges and subtle golden embroidery on one side of the shoulder, making it look elegant but not too showy. Just the way he wanted.
"Let see," Zhou i shoved her head in front of him to check out the robe.
"Hmm, my choice was better..." She humd while stroking her chin and comnted, "However, this works as well."
Turning towards Sheng Wan the next mont, she said while handing the sample to her, "Sister Wan, this is the one."
