It was only a mory, but it still managed to evoke such a deep feeling of longing in his heart that it accelerated Yi Chen’s desire to imdiately finish this mission.

"Silver Cloud Tournant?" Qin Yao responded with a frown on his forehead and then, the next mont, shook his head, "No, I’ve never heard about it before...maybe Master would know sothing,"
"Yes, I’ll ask him tomo- Ah, yes, he won’t be back for a week..." Yi Chen responded in realisation.
His mind was a bit cluttered because of everything that happened in the last few hours, and hence, he had forgotten about Elder Lei’s week-long departure.
’Looks like I’ll have to ask soone else then. Maybe Zhou i would know about it,’ he thought to himself.
The conversation on the dinner table soon shifted to tomorrow’s tournant.
"Uhm, when Sister Ning was explaining about it, I wasn’t able to fully understand how our match tomorrow would be conducted." Yi Chen said all of a sudden and asked, "Can you repeat it again for ?"
"Haha, it was the sa with last year when I went to spectate. The Ascension matches, one which allows the clans to rise from either Minor to Major or from Major to Noble status, follow quite a different way of matches, unlike the regular knockout ones."
Qin Yao explained after a short laugh.
"As you know, in the tournant, each clan can participate with cultivators from First to the Ninth Level of ridian Refinent Stage.
And since the maximum spot for each level is eight, a maximum of 72 cultivators can take part from each clan.
However, it’s only a few noble clans who have the ability to fill all the spots. We don’t, and it’s the sa with all the minor clans as well.
Our clan is participating with a total of 39 cultivators.
First Level to the Fourth all have eight cultivators each. Five cultivators, including Brother Chen, are there in the Fifth Level and lastly, two cultivators are there in the Sixth Level, which include Sister Ning and the newly joined cultivator.

A couple of minutes later, several chopsticks were neatly arranged on the table in rows on both the left and right sides of the table.
On one side, there were six rows of chopsticks placed.
From the first to the fourth row, each had eight chopsticks in it. The fifth row had five chopsticks, and the sixth row had only two chopsticks.
On the other side, there was a similar pattern, but there was no sixth row, and the fifth row also had only three chopsticks in it.
"On the left-hand side is our clan’s formation, and on the other side is the formation of one of the minor clans that would be attacking us.
The numbers might change a little tomorrow since I’m just assuming right now, but that’s still enough to make Brother Chen understand," Qin Yao said.
Pointing his finger at each of the six rows, he said the next mont, "These rows represent our cultivators in six different levels.
In the tournant, they are represented by three different terminologies.
First to Third Level cultivators are called the walls.
Fourth and Fifth-Level cultivators are called the Pillars.
Lastly, Sixth to Ninth Level cultivators are called the Peak.
The challenging clan has to penetrate the walls and the pillars before finally claiming the peak, i.e. defeating all the peak experts. Only then will the defending clan lose its status as a major clan.
If they are unable to do so, then the defending clan would continue to retain their status as a Major Clan."
"Ah, I understand," Yi Chen nodded the next mont. Thanks to the visual representation provided by Qin Yao, understanding it had beco a lot easier for him.
However, there were still a few doubts in his mind, which he began asking one after the other the next instant.
"Then doesn’t it seem that we are in a favourable position as the minor clans have to penetrate rows of our cultivators from the First level to the Fifth before they could finally challenge our Sixth Level experts,"
Hearing Yi Chen’s words, Qin Yao chuckled with a difficult expression, "If only it were that easy..."
