Since Yi Chen had left the Fighting Stage in shambles, the managent team was busy repairing it. anwhile, Yi Chen was back in the stands and was chatting with Feng Dulin.

"So, there really is no shortcut to becoming as strong as you, huh...now I’ll have to continue grinding like always...if only my talent were as high as yours, Brother Chen," Feng Dulin sighed after hearing Yi Chen’s explanation.

’Yeah...or get yourself a system,’ Yi Chen muttered inwardly.

Feng Dulin soon shook those depressing thoughts away and, with a bright expression, changed the topic.

"Even now, it still feels surreal to be honest...I never expected that we would be able to rise to the nineteenth rank so easily, and it’s all thanks to you, Brother Chen..."

A dreamy look appeared over his eyes as he said those words.

"Alright, enough with those praises. I’ve already had enough of them from you." Yi Chen shook his head when he heard Feng Dulin flattering him with praises yet again.

However, Feng Dulin didn’t seem to register those words as he was suddenly reminded of sothing. Glancing at Yi Chen, he asked the next instant.

"Now that I think of it, Brother Chen, why don’t you look exhausted? You should have fully emptied your Qi pool after fighting those two battles, right?"

"Empty?" Yi Chen said with a grin, "I still have more than half of my Qi pool filled. Moreover..."

Yi Chen showed the low-grade spirit stone, which he had been clutching in his fist all this ti, and continued.

"...I’ve already regained almost one-fifth of what I had used in the previous two battles in this interval."

"Haha, that’s great!" Feng Dulin exclaid in amazent, clearly taken aback by the revelation.

The very next instant, the brightness in his eyes rose by several levels, and he couldn’t help but ask, "Doesn’t this an that Brother Chen can fight a few more cultivators and help raise our clan’s ranking even higher?"

Just when Feng Dulin said those words, Feng Ning’s sharp voice ca from the side.

"How can you suggest sothing like this, Brother Dulin?" A tone of accusation was apparent in her voice as she continued, "Brother Chen has already done so much for our clan and us, so how could you make such a request at this juncture?"

She glared intensely at Feng Dulin when she finished what she had to say.

"A-ah ...Sister Ning...it was only a montary thought that I worded out without much thought. I really didn’t an it that way..."

Feng Dulin said apologetically while trying to justify his actions.

It was right then that Yi Chen casually asked, "Regarding this increase in rankings, other than our clan receiving more resources from the Imperial family, are there any other benefits?"

The thought of helping the Feng clan get as high a rank as possible had montarily entered his mind, but Yi Chen lacked the motivation to act upon it.

’Even if I end up making them rise to the top ten in the rankings, the majority of the resources would be hogged up by those corrupt elders,’ Yi Chen thought as the image of the patriarch and others appeared in his mind.

Therefore, now that he had already saved the Feng Clan from a crisis and had also taken revenge for Feng Ning’s sake, there really wasn’t much drive left in him to contribute further.

’Maybe if Feng Ning is able to win the next match, then I’ll consider them acquire the 18th rank...and if she doesn’t, then I’ll just accept the results. The nineteenth rank is not bad.’

That’s what Yi Chen had decided in his mind, but it changed when he heard Feng Dulin’s response to his previous question.

"Any other benefits...then that would be with regard to the Heavenly Azure Dragon Sect," Feng Dulin said with furrowed brows.

"What do you an?" Yi Chen’s attention was imdiately piqued when he heard the Heavenly Azure Dragon Sect being called out.

"I heard that Brother Chen’s also being nominated by our clan, so this benefit would apply to you as well," Feng Dulin said after a thoughtful expression.

"Then...is this related to the special benefits that the nominated mbers receive from the sect?" Yi Chen asked while connecting the dots in his mind.

"Yes, I’m talking about those special benefits. For us, Major Clans, these benefits include additional spirit stones per month along with reserved spots in the various facilities provided by the sect."

Feng Dulin nodded in confirmation and continued, "But it’s not just limited to that. If a clan is ranked higher in the Major Clans’ rankings, there are additional benefits given to them."

"Additional benefits?" Yi Chen asked with curiosity apparent on his face.

"Yes," Feng Dulin nodded and explained, "The fifteenth to tenth-ranked clans enjoy a five per cent discount on the facilities provided by the sect.

It applies to everything, even the widely known Azure Spirit Tower, where cultivating for an hour can cost up to a hundred high-grade spirit stones if not more, depending upon the chosen room."

Hearing Feng Dulin’s words, Yi Chen’s eyes widen in amazent.

’Won’t that an paying five high-grade spirit stones less?!’

One high-grade spirit stone amounted to a hundred thousand low-grade spirit stones, and Yi Chen currently possessed only a hundred of them. Therefore, the discount really felt very beneficial to him.

After pausing to recover his breath, Feng Dulin continued, "This discount only increases as one goes further up the rankings.

Ninth to the second-ranked clans enjoy a full fifteen percent discount!" Feng Dulin said the next mont.

"Fifteen percent for under ten... Then what about the first-ranked clan, Brother Dulin? How much discount do they receive?" Yi Chen asked as his breathing beca quicker.

"The first-ranked clan is granted a complete twenty-five percent discount on all the facilities offered by the Sect," Feng Dulin answered with a longing expression.

"Twenty-Five percent?!" Yi Chen widened his eyes in both surprise and anticipation.

"Yes..." Feng Dulin chuckled self-depricatingly the next second and said, "Our clan still has a long way to go if we want to enjoy similar benefits."

Feng Ning, who had been listening from her seat, also nodded to herself when she heard this.

’It would be difficult, but I’ll do my utmost to make that dream co true in this lifeti,’ she thought with conviction in her eyes.

It was at that mont that Yi Chen nodded to himself in thought and said, "It’s decided then. We’ll be claiming that twenty-five percent!"
