When Yi Chen arrived at the room, he saw that the previously tidy room was completely in disarray. The ceramic flower vases were lying on the floor, broken.

The paintings hanging on the wall lay on the ground, cracked and spoiled. A crumpled bedsheet was lying in one corner of the room as if thrown there.

In short, the room looked like a war ground, and the perpetrator was currently being held by her arms by two guards who were forcefully pinning the elderly woman to the ground.

Seeing this scene, all of Yi Chen’s hair stood on end, ’These crazy bastards! Do they plan to have us all killed!’

"Let go! I said Let go of , you thieves!" The elderly woman roared like a maniac. Her actions were no longer in synch with her previous cultured appearance, as all her white hair strands were in a disarray, giving a wild look to her.

Thankfully, Yi Chen didn’t need to butt in as Feng Yu imdiately tried to calm down the situation.

"Madam, calm down, please! Tell what’s the matter. I was the one who had rescued you earlier," Feng Yu spoke while gesturing towards the guards to let go of their grip on her.

Finally able to get up from the bed, the old lady snorted with a mix of fury and annoyance and said while massaging her wrists, "Rescue? Since when did stealing soone’s belongings start being terd as rescuing? If not for the fact that currently I’m unable to-"

However, before the lady could continue, Feng Yu interrupted her, "Steal? We didn’t steal any of your belongings, madam."

"After all this, you still dare to lie?" the old lady scoffed and said while pointing her finger towards Feng Yu, "I clearly rember my pendant was with as I lost my consciousness while your carriage was approaching. How co it’s not with once I’m awake? Surely my pendant wouldn’t have flown away by itself, right?"

Being talked down like this, Feng Yu’s eyes subtly narrowed. However, she managed to control herself and said while walking towards a drawer next to the bed, "If it’s just the pendant that you want, then it’s right here."

With that said, she opened the drawer and took out a pendant from within. In her hand was an orange gemstone that was suspended by a tallic silver cord.

"Take it," Feng Yu extended her hand towards the elderly woman and said, "Instead of accusing us, you should have at least checked your surroundings properly first."

Earlier, when they had brought the elderly woman back, Feng Yu had told the maids to change her tattered clothes. At that ti, she had placed this pendant in this drawer so as not to misplace it.

"This..." The elderly woman’s expression of anger was soon replaced with that of embarrassnt, but she still took the pendant to observe it carefully.

Only after making sure that there was nothing wrong with it did she take a sigh of relief, and a sense of calmness returned to her face.

Looking towards Feng Yu, who was still staring at her with a frown, the elderly woman bowed deeply, "I apologise for my earlier misconduct, young lady. You helped out, and instead of showing gratefulness, I blad you all for sothing you never did."

Feng Yu’s eyes widened in surprise as she was not expecting such a drastic change in the woman’s altitude and couldn’t help but tell her to rise up, "W-what are you doing...you don’t need to bow since you’re still older than ..."

"It’s only right for to do it, and also," The next mont, the pendant on the elderly woman’s hand shone with orange light, and the next mont, a glass bottle filled with golden colored pills appeared in her hand.

’Spatial Treasure!’ Feng Yu thought in shock as she glanced at the pendant the woman was holding. Her previous outburst suddenly started making sense to her. She would also be as frantic as her if she was in possession of such a treasure.

However, what Feng Yu didn’t know was the fact that the elderly woman wasn’t much concerned about her spatial treasure in particular, but one of the several items that was kept inside it.

Seeing Feng Yu’s shocked expression, the elderly woman said with a smile, "These are ’Golden Firmant Pills’.

From the goodwill that you’ve shown , I should have given you sothing of greater value, but unfortunately, these are the only things I can give right now..."

There was a hint of regret in her voice when she said that. However, both Feng Yu and Yi Chen were too engrossed in those pills that were pulsating with golden light to notice the subtle dip in her tone.

’We’ve hit a jackpot!’ Yi Chen exclaid in his mind. He didn’t even need to know what the pill does to realise that it was an extrely rare pill.

"Golden Firmant Pill?... What does it-" Hearing the na of the pill for the very first ti, Feng Yu was about to raise her doubt when she was suddenly interrupted by a loud voice from behind.

"Golden Firmant Pills!" Master Ru, who had just rushed to the guest quarter, exclaid in surprise. His gaze then fell on the bottle of pills the elderly woman was holding in her hand.

Seeing the pulsating golden light being emitted by the pills within, he couldn’t help but mutter out loud, "They really are those..."

"Father?" Feng Yu asked in a questioning manner when she saw how her father was behaving.

However, Master Ru didn’t pay any attention to her words as his figure kowtowed in front of the elderly woman the next mont and pleaded, "Esteed elder, I deeply ask for your forgiveness if we have unintentionally angered you. I beg you to show rcy to my family."

"Please don’t," The elderly woman’s figure appeared right before Master Ru and gently lifted him up, "If there’s soone who should be apologising for causing a scene, it should be . I’m deeply grateful for your family’s help, so please accept these pills as a token of my gratefulness."

Master Ru realised that he had wrongly judged the situation. However, when he saw the bottle filled with pills, which he had never dreamt of seeing, resting in his hand, he couldn’t help but shake his head in refusal

"No...No... they are too precious, how can I accept such lifesaving pills?"

"Compared to what you’ve done for , they really are nothing. So please accept them." With an amiable smile on her face, the elderly woman once again placed the bottle in Master Ru’s hands, leaving him no choice but to accept it.

"Thank you," Master Ru said with deep gratefulness.

Seeing her father acting so subservient towards the elderly woman, nurous doubts flooded Feng Yu’s heart as she couldn’t help but ask directly, "M-Madam...just what is your identity?"
