In the dining hall, various delicacies like noodles, boiled eggs, sweet soups and plenty of at dishes were served to them, and the two of them savoured them with great relish.

Seeing their voracious appetite, Zheng Ru had a pleased smile on their face as they asked the servants to bring more food.

Even before Feng Yu’s eyes could fully widen from surprise, her eyes went white, and she fell unconscious.
"Yu’er!" Yi Chen exclaid in horror as he grabbed hold of her figure midway.
"Wake up! Can you hear , Yu’er? Yu’er!" Yi Chen kept shaking her shoulders and patted her cheeks in an attempt to wake her up, but there seed to be no response from her.
Zheng Ru, who had just witnessed all this happening from the side, roared in anger the very next mont.
"How dare you hurt my daughter?!"
His eyes have turned bloodshot shot and like a crazy person, he rushed towards Elder Jing.
’To think she was this close to all along...’
Elder Jing thought with disbelief apparent in her eyes. She was completely taken aback by this discovery, so much so that she didn’t even realise that Zheng Ru was approaching her from her side.
It was only when his fists were a few centitres away from hitting her temples that Elder Jing beca aware of this attack.

Taken by surprise, her body reacted on its own as a strong Qi wave blasted Zheng Ru away, and the next mont, his body slamd into the wall.

Zheng Ru coughed up a lot of blood while lying in a debris of broken walls. His head was bleeding profusely, and all his ribs were completely shattered. Just breathing had beco tornting. However, gritting in pain, he still managed to mutter while staring towards his daughter.

The next mont, Zheng Yu lost his vision and fell unconscious.
"Father! No!" Yi Chen exclaid in despair and anger when he saw Zheng Ru’s state and roared towards Elder Jing in a guttural voice.
"Why! Why! Why! Why!
Why would soone as powerful as you harm them?! Just what have they ever done to you!"
Yi Chen glared hatefully towards her as Feng Yu’s unconscious figure was still lying on his knees, and Zheng Ru’s bloodied figure was a few ters ahead.
One was breathing while the other’s state was unknown.
