Rather than explaining to Dawn right there and then, Roseus headed inside the Stormshield Tavern to clean himself up before having a al.

As he did, he noticed that all eyes were on him. Even the Tavern Keeper was treating him differently, giving him extra food. Yet no one but his crewmbers questioned him, as they didn’t feel that they had the right at that mont. To them, their captain seed like a different person.

...

Afterwards, Roseus gathered his crew on the Argeddon Brigantine Ship that floated by the harbour.

He sat atop a barrel on the deck, and his crewmates sat around him. The sound of the gentle translucent waves called out to them from beyond the railing.

Roseus explained his story, giving a full recount of the events that took place atop the mountain.

He told them about his extended pact with Rai’zac, the skills he had gained, and the thod by which this pact had been ford.

He told them how he was the one who took away the storm that lood above the dockyard town.

As he continued to explain these things, he noticed sothing in each of their eyes.

It was admiration, mixed with fear. The fear mostly ca from the younger mbers of the crew, such as Pip and Jackson; however, the admiration ca from everybody.

Roseus didn’t feel like it was deserved. He believed that he hadn’t done much that was praiseworthy and had simply been blessed with good luck and favour. Not to ntion, his father’s treasure.

Yet still, each of the crew mbers viewed their captain in a certain light.

Removing the storms that threatened an entire town... Dawn thought to herself. Rose is really the sort of man whose first thought would be to help others.

From her point of view, Captain Roseus had risked his life using so much energy to get rid of those storms. It was an admirable feat.

Blodwen couldn’t help but listen in awe as the young captain explained his story.

The boy lacks experience, but nothing bad can be said about his fearlessness and critical thinking, he thought to himself. At first I was sceptical about him and his risks, but every day that passes, he looks more and more like you, Redeye. Only he dares to make pacts with the sea gods, whilst you were afraid of them. Hehe, will this give him the edge over you?

Zaliah hadn’t known the boy for long and did not witness the great battle at Mother’s Sea, however he was certainly making an impression on her.

Another priest on board... And he’s even given us a new ship modification because of it. Zaliah smiled, as they were already partway towards upgrading their ship to the next tier. If anything, our adventures together will surely be eventful... Just like back then.

After giving a detailed explanation of the previous night’s events, the Redflower Pirates discussed the day that they had waiting for them tomorrow.

With the battle against the Navy Commander nearing, they wanted to know how they could use these powers to help them in the battle.

The biggest problem with this was that the Templars currently viewed them as believers in the God of Knowledge. If Roseus showed that he had powers over the storm, this bluff would be called.

This prevented him from openly practising these powers and ant he would have to wait until the day of the battle, which would be tomorrow, as soon as the sun started setting.

As for his show in removing the storms from the skies, no one had any proof that this was his doing. Even if it was, he might be able to claim that it was a blessing perford by the God of Knowledge.

...

They spent the rest of that day making sure that their provisions were sufficiently stocked, their guns were loaded, and their weapons were sharpened.

...

At nightti, Roseus found himself standing in his room with Dawn sitting on the bed, watching him closely.

They were to share a bed together again that night, but she didn’t feel nervous this ti, despite being sowhat immodestly dressd. That was because she was more focused on watching Roseus perform.

She watched as her captain outstretched his arms and seed to focus on sothing outside. As he did, the storm that had returned to the dockyard town suddenly quietened as they had the night before.

His nose started bleeding, and his eyes glowed bright gold as he worked. However, he did not go unconscious this ti, as he was now a priest with greater control.

He did collapse, though. As he fell to the floor, he could hear voices coming from the other rooms saying, "It’s happened again!"

A smile spread across his face as Dawn soon directed him over to the bed.

She cleaned his bloody nose and helped undress him down to the clothes that he would sleep in, as he felt drained and wanted nothing but sleep.

As they lay there, she found herself naturally embracing him, as though the warmth of her body would heal him.

As Roseus lay against her, he strangely found himself believing that this might be the case.

...

The next morning, Roseus and the crew spent their ti sharing tales of the seas and their pasts.

With Zaliah having joined them, she had many tales to tell. So even included Blodwen.

She spoke of the ti that she spent with the Redeye Pirates, revealing that she had been on Highstorm Island for half a decade, similar to Blodwen.

She too had heard nothing from the captain or any of the crew mbers since they left to sail into the fourth ocean.

As for the third ocean, she had never seen it.

Redeye’s intention was to have her enter the third ocean and return to the second ocean with knowledge that could help Roseus by the ti he made it there..

Unfortunately, they learned that once you entered the third ocean, it beca absurdly difficult to return. This was why knowledge of the third ocean was so limited among those on land, and why knowledge of the fourth sea was potentially all myth.

They planned to ask the Templars soon, as they had managed to return from the third ocean...

With these tales shared and their ship prepared, the sun began to set.

The dockyard slowly filled with activity as Captain Lionheart and his crew, alongside another Templar Brigantine, arrived under the light of the setting sun. Alongside the Redflower Pirates, this fleet of ships that was about to set sail had an overall crew numbering over a hundred, all of whom were awakened.

And they were about to sail out and et up with more of their crew, which would make their numbers even greater.

As Roseus stood at the helm of his ship, looking out at the bustling activity taking place on the pier, he felt nerves building in his stomach.

The largest naval battle of his life awaited him sowhere over the horizon.
