Being at the police headquarters, of course, Akun was not panicked. After all, as his superiors said, the Floating Island couldn't crush him, and the impact wave it triggered couldn't harm the Headquarters Building protected by the force shield.
But the other prisons had no such protective shield.
If the island really fell, its weight of 30 billion tons would be enough to crush them and the prison into dust.
The prison guards and other staff had no ti to maintain order and rushed out of the prison gates, rolling and crawling as they ran for their lives.
The prisoners slowly sensed that sothing was wrong and began a prison break riot.
So of the more eccentric prisoners initially thought they could take advantage of the chaos to get more benefits for themselves...
But when they saw the Floating Island overhead, all their greed and ambition disappeared instantly, replaced by faces more panicked than those of the guards.
"Run... run!"
Soone shouted.
But even before the voice sounded, people were already fleeing in a panic, not knowing where to go.
The shadow of death lood deeply over everyone's hearts.
Regardless of who they were, no matter how arrogant or lawless they had been... even the most brazen criminals who disregarded laws and lives now felt like re ants before the falling Floating Island, capable of nothing but running away.
The crowd scattered like a tidal wave, fleeing in all directions.

A young man in a faded denim jacket, holding a wine flask and a roasted donkey sandwich, nonchalantly walked through the crowd, stepping towards the very center of the Floating Island's descent.
He appeared to be around 30 years old, with ssy but slightly dashing gray short hair. His appearance was sowhat neglected due to lack of grooming, yet the sharp brows and starry eyes beneath the gray hair and whiskers suggested his looks were by no ans inferior.
The crowd surged over every street like a breached anthill, yet the young man moved against the tide, performing stylish disco steps. The rhythm of his brass-heeled boots tapping the ground was musical, as if playing a joyful dance tune.
"Does this young man want to die?"
Suddenly, a hand like withered vines grabbed his sleeve embroidered with a Taiji pattern.
The hand belonged to an elderly woman, who was nervously holding up a powerless alloy cane, her cloudy eyes full of urgency.
Clearly, she mistook the young man for a rescue worker from the prison, there to save people.
But at this mont, going under the Floating Island to save people was akin to seeking death.
The young man said nothing, only smiled and steadied the trembling alloy cane of the elderly woman. As his fingers brushed the cane's grip, the ergency power light hidden within suddenly lit up, once again providing her with mobility assistance.
"Doesn't this red light look festive?"
He flicked aside the strand of silver-gray hair covering his right eye, gazing at the flas around the Floating Island.
"Consider this an early New Year's greeting; at your age, you deserve to witness grand events."
With that, he handed her the wine flask, the holographic talisman at its base quietly activating to form a protective force field.
Having discreetly completed everything, the young man turned and vanished into the crowd without looking back.
The elder wanted to say more, but when she blinked again, she could only see the young man stuffing the last piece of roasted donkey sandwich into his mouth. Then, with a slight leap, he headed straight towards the unstoppable Floating Island...
