Lacking legal constraints, gang mbers and thugs can snatch soone’s shop and storefront at any mont.
Thus, a bar like the Insect Gang’s, in terms of the deed and house price, would barely fetch 20,000 Silver Cannons even at most, and it’s not guaranteed to find a buyer.
However, the interior decoration here is quite luxurious. There’s probably a good amount of valuable liquor in the warehouse... and so shady contraband drugs. If sold, they could probably fetch around a hundred thousand or so.
Because of this, Yun You dared to set the price at 120,000.
Yet the girl who dared to stand out as bait—Kasidelle—refused this great sum.
This was 120,000 Silver Cannons...! Spent sparingly, it’s probably enough for half a lifeti.
But Kasidelle didn’t want the money.
"Could it be that her true identity is a rich lady, working just to experience life?"
Yun You started to imagine.
But she quickly dismissed this guess.
Because she had just seen with her own eyes, when the Headless Monster released the first shock wave, this girl was coughing blood and yet still protected two bottles of liquor, muttering quietly, "Damn, almost smashed it to pieces, luckily I was quick... otherwise I’d have to pay two months’ salary!"
Such a foolish and clumsy appearance, rich people could never pretend to have.

"How could that be possible, there’s no one in Nest City who doesn’t love money, right?"
Kasidelle shook her head like a rattle drum.
"It’s just that, compared to money, I think having a backer is more important."
"My family used to run a black market prosthetic body workshop, and even though we didn’t have a production license, my dad had skills and could handcraft all sorts of counterfeit chips... so we made quite a bit of money, even beca the richest on the street."
"But later, because we didn’t pay the gang protection fee, they broke my dad’s hands so that he could no longer make money and took away all our money."

"As for strength..."
Kasidelle smiled faintly.
"Although I can’t see your face clearly, judging from your voice and height, you can’t be over 16, can you?"
"To take down an entire gang at the age of sixteen, if you’re a newbie, then we’re all just trash."
Listening to this rather rigorous analysis, Yun You awkwardly smiled, not knowing how to refute it.

Yun You hurriedly stopped Kasidelle, grabbing two Mantis Blades and thrusting them into her hands.
"Hold onto these, otherwise, it might not even consider you a threat... Get close and just throw them, when it releases the heartbeat, rember to protect your chest with your hands."
"And also."
Yun You paused, then lowered her voice, saying softly: "If... you co back alive, you’ll be my [friend], not a subordinate."
"Okay!"
Kasidelle nodded with a smile, then climbed over the table.
To run faster, the silly girl wobbled her ankle after two steps, kicking off the ill-fitting high heels, and dashed barefoot toward the Headless Monster, making a "pat-pat" sound.
This sound seed to catch the attention of the Headless Monster; it turned its head, looking at Kasidelle with its nonexistent eyes, and began to gather power.
Seeing this, Kasidelle’s body shook, and she quickly flung the Mantis Blades.
Her strength wasn’t impressive; the thrown blades looked limp, lacking force.
But fortunately, the sharp characteristic of the Mantis Blades compensated for this, and purely by their inherent downward montum, they were enough to cut through gold and jade.
The Headless Monster clearly felt the danger of the blade, so it didn’t hesitate to stop gathering power, releasing an "instantaneous" heartbeat.
Thump—!
Once again, a terrifying shock wave swept forward, engulfing Kasidelle.
She instinctively followed Yun You’s instructions, covering her chest with her hands.
But she wasn’t Yun You, with a physique strong enough to withstand the heartbeat’s might.
At such a close range of just a few ters, the invisible impact crushed her hand bones, collapsing her chest.
She flew backward violently, crashing onto the sofa, with blood rushing up her throat, while her head violently shook, as if it were about to explode.
The crowd couldn’t help but worry, as if they already saw the scene of Kasidelle’s head exploding.
But surprisingly, the next mont, the girl widened her eyes, gulped down her saliva, and suppressed the blood in her throat.
At the sa ti, the sudden increase in blood pressure in her brain gradually subsided with her deep breaths.
She was severely injured, but miraculously alive!
Perhaps, this was the result of the "Genetic Potion" she had taken in the past.
Those potions didn’t make her strong, but they did save her life in this mont of life and death.
