Chapter 1288: A Storm Arrived

Night slowly fell. Shi Qian sat on the beach, took out a pressed biscuit, and took a bite. She then opened a coconut for dinner.
She sat by the sea and listened to the sound of the waves. She did not feel sleepy at all.
In the middle of the night, Shi Qian sneezed a few times in a row, and her body felt cold.
Was she going to be sick?
She definitely could not get sick at this time.

Before she could find a place to hide, bean-sized raindrops fell from the sky.

Finally, she arrived at the cave.

She huddled in the hole and looked at the wound on her arm.
Her elbow was injured and it hurt like hell to move it.
She immediately took out the disinfectant and gauze from her bag.
After treating the wound, she simply bandaged it with gauze.
After a while, the bleeding stopped, and the rain outside gradually subsided.
Shi Qian looked at the wet ground and felt unfortable.
Outside, there were a few banana trees. There were no fruits on them, and there were wide banana leaves on the trees.
Shi Qian got up to cut a few leaves and spread them in the hole.
Although there was water on the banana leaves, it was cleaner than sitting on the ground.
For the time being, she did not dare to use an open fire for fear that the smoke would be discovered and the people she attracted might be enemies.
The rain had stopped outside, and the wind was still strong. Shi Qian took off her coat, wrung out the water on it, and draped it over a branch.
The weather had always been gloomy, and it was impossible to judge the time.
Shi Qian took out a protein bar and ate it to replenish her energy.
After regaining a little strength, she ran from the beach again to see if there was any news of Arthur.
She still did not see anyone. She could only vaguely see a small black dot in the distance. She did not know what kind of ship it was.
Thunder rumbled in the sky again. Shi Qian quickly returned to the cave to hide.
It didn’t take long for the rain to fall again.
Fortunately, the terrain here was higher and water wouldn’t accumulate. She huddled helplessly in the innermost area and listened to the rumbling thunder outside.
On the sea, a ship was sailing in the wind and waves.
